About: Hi! My name is Katie, and I have been around animals my entire life. I have owned and cared for dogs since I was born and have experience caring for both dogs and foster cats of all ages. I am comfortable handling puppies, kittens, adult pets, and senior animals, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I currently have two friendly, neutered, and trained dogs who are well-socialized with other animals. If a pet prefers their own space, I also have the ability to keep dogs separated to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. My home is equipped with supplies for dogs, including crates and other essentials, and I am happy to accommodate additional needs whenever possible. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, feeding, medication reminders, cuddles, or simply a reliable companion while you’re away, I will treat them like family. In addition, I am CPR and First Aid certified and have extensive volunteer experience in healthcare. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout every stay. I am a recent high school graduate and an incoming University of Florida student, so I have a very flexible schedule throughout the summer. I have reliable transportation and am available for boarding, drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting throughout the week and on weekends. Because of my open availability, I can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and last-minute requests whenever possible. My goal is to provide dependable care that works with both your schedule and your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a safe, pet-friendly home with supplies to care for dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have two friendly, neutered, and trained dogs who are comfortable around other animals. If needed, I can easily keep pets separated using crates and separate areas of the home to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure. I am experienced with both dogs and cats, including foster cats, puppies, and kittens. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special requests provided by owners. I currently have a senior dog of my own and have experience administering medications and following consistent care routines. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have been caring for dogs for the past three years after starting my own dog-sitting business at 15. During that time, I have looked after dogs for family, friends, and members of my community. Gaining experience with different dog breeds, sizes and personalities. My love for animals started with my own dog, who inspired me to begin pet sitting and provide the same care and attention I would want for my own pets. What sets me apart is my commitment to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I am experienced in following feeding and exercise routines, caring for multiple pets, and providing frequent photo and video updates. I treat every pet like family and strive to give the owners peace of mind through reliable and attentive care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I am generally available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I make sure to plan my schedule around the pets I am caring for so they all can receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I do not currently have any pets in my home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets in my care. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and I always supervise pets. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely and prioritize safety, comfort, and routine to help pets feel secure and happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the last 18 years, since I was six years old! I understand that pets are members of the family, and I will treat your pets with care and compassion! I can walk, run, play or do whatever is necessary to make your pets happy! I work from home with flexibility, so I am available at most hours of the day to walk. In the evenings, I am free whenever for home stays. I can care for pets in my clients homes. There is a potential they can stay in my home for short stays as well, which is in a peaceful, residential neighborhood.

About: I have great experience with all dog sizes, but medium to small is the best for me. I have taken care of elderly dogs before, and I have a small elderly pomeranian at home, so i realize they require gentle care and attention. I have a dog park outside of my apartment that is mostly unused. It is perfect for giving your dog a potty/play break. The street i live on is slow with light traffic. I am able to care for pets 24/7. I am a part time student, mostly on line, so I am at home most of the day. I work in my bedroom or living room, and I have no trouble doing work on my computer with your pet. My apartment is not on a street, just a parking lot. There is a large yard and doggy play pen outside my home. I live with a Vet student, and I am better able to care for animals with her help. I have one roommate, and my apartment is very quiet and large. I am home all day, and i enjoy quiet studying while siting next to your pet. I get bored easily so I go for walks 4-5x a day, which I would love to do together with your pet! I have a lot of patience for animals since I grew up with them, but i prefer low-energy and calm animals because I get overwhelmed easily.
About: I’ve grown up with pets in my house my entire life. My mother was a foster animal parent from the moment she graduated college. Her first ever job was at a feline care clinic. From my first ever memories I remember saving dogs, cats, and turtles from the streets. I love animals and I’m grateful to help any animal that needs love, care, attention, or medical aid. I walk pets during my weekly schedule. I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for a few hours and can walk pets around this time. I’m also usually free on weekends unless there is a game day on Saturday's! My schedule is very flexible and I drive my own vehicle so I’m happy to work around pet’s needs! I like creating a safe and calm environment for pets. Meeting new people is a bit surprising for pets especially if they are only used to their owners. I like taking a moment for pets to ge to know me before I jump straight into walking or feeding. Creating rapport with pets is the best thing you can do before anything else.

About: I currently don't have much professional experience with pet sitting, but I do have experience with being around others' pets and taking care of my own. Most of my real experience comes from taking care of my family's Australian Shepherd since I was a kid. We have gone on regular walks, maintained routines, and had plenty of playtime together. I'm currently working part-time and a full-time student. However, I still have plenty of time on my schedule throughout the week. I'll be able for walks or check-ins any time Tuesday-Friday. For boarding, the only set time that I have would be Fridays, but my schedule is always fluctuating and other days could also work. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. For boarding, I make sure to keep it as safe and comfortable for the pet while following their normal schedule. I also keep in mind the cleanliness of the house to ensure that it's kept as a pet-friendly space. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get their neurons active, and look for any possible things I need to clean up. For walks, I focus on keeping your pet safe and engaged. I take into account how your pet reacts with other pets (or how you like to deal with it) and adjust the pace based on how they react to their surroundings. I understand the importance of following instructions carefully, so I can also provide updates to keep you at ease!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
