We'll just walk around the pond in front of the apartment 1 or 2 times. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I would NEVER intentionally harm an animal. I'd never lay even a finger on pets (to discipline them) that do not belong to me. • I never give human food to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, if you wish to ensure that your pet is the *only* one in my care (other than Mylo I mean) during their stay (for your own peace of mind), I can arrange it for a small additional fee. It is worth noting that, regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, care, and consistency they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life. For most of my life I had a minx cat named Milo that I rescued as a baby from under an abandoned home who was a real life Garfield and just the most chonky loving boy ever. After he left us a stray (Oliver) wandered into our home as I began college and made himself welcome in our home keeping my mom company and knowing we needed the support, he decided to keep going on his journey to explore after a couple years but we have always remembered our two boys. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: I was raised to meet the emotional needs of pets in my care, and nurture who they are. My dad trained dogs, and I learned to speak in a way they understand. Because I work from home, I am able to be very attentive. My yard is fully fenced in, and I live with four other responsible adults. A quick story from the pandemic: My parents have a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix name Jacques. One night when it was just him and me, I noticed it looked like he was straining to eat his crunchy food. He was always picky, but that day I noticed him straining to chew like when we bite into a Gobstopper. I picked him up and drove him to PetSmart. We bought Bil~Jac, the softest, healthiest dog food available for a dog his size. “12 pounds of fresh chicken in a 15 pound bag,” it said. This is not an ad, I swear. I remember the first time he tried his new food. He looked at his bowl, looked at me, looked back at his bowl... then, jumped off the chair where he eats, ran and jumped onto my lap, excitedly licking my whole face! Jacques gained 3 pounds in the next month or so, and he was only 5 pounds before we switched food! I love seeing him healthy and happy. My goal is to treat everyone else’s pets like they are members of my family. Because it isn’t always easy to trust a stranger, I believe that it is more important than ever to be accountable and responsible for anyone under my roof. They all deserve my deepest level of care. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners.
