About: *Available to house sit in the Gainesville and Jacksonville areas. I’ve had my own cats for 8 years. However, I am a huge dog lover too! I have lived with many dogs through roommates and developed special bonds with many of them. I would be entrusted to care for them if a roommate was away. I love sending pics of your fur babies to you while I take care of them! I am a teacher. So, summertime is extremely flexible, and, sometimes, wide open! I can make a lot work in the summer to fit your pet’s needs. Since I have 2 cats, I am looking to mostly take care of your pets in your home. I am all about comfort for my own pets, and make that the priority for your pets in your home!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. Neighbors have relied on me to feed their dogs and cats while they were away many times. I don’t only go over to feed them but I love to give them loves, maybe a walk or even playing with some toys while I’m there. I am a nurse intern at UF Shands! So I only work about 3 days out of a week! I’m super flexible with my schedule. I have two cats of my own who always have clean running water available to them. They do have an automatic cat feeder so it helps so much in the mornings! They get their box cleaned once a day and I always give them treats (: they love to play and absolutely love to cuddle, which is my favorite too! I’ve been around dogs my whole life since we have always had a family dog at home and been around animals all my life!

About: Hi, I’m Megan! I got a bachelors in animal science at UF and then was a vet tech for 5 years at the UF small animal hospital. I have always loved animals. I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. At one point growing up, we even had 3 dogs and 3 cats at once… that was fun! I am currently a cat mom of 3. I recently made the decision to go back to school and had to leave my full time job. I thought meeting and taking care of fur babies would be the most fulfilling thing for me to do in my spare time. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am a full time student right now and I am currently working part time; Sunday nights (5pm-9pm) and Monday nights (5pm-9pm). PLEASE NOTE: I have clinical rotations from 8am-4:30pm during the weekdays but can make early morning and evening requests. I also tend to be in town for the weekends! With 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine and tons of years of owning and caring for my own pets, I am fairly confident I can safely look over your pets!

About: With seven years of experience in the animal industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of domestic animals, both large and small, young and old. For four of those years (still counting), I worked as a veterinary technician, gaining hands-on medical and clinical experience while supporting both animals and their owners through various stages of care. Prior to that, I spent three years at a boarding and daycare facility, where I helped manage daily routines, behavior, and enrichment for pets in a group setting. Throughout this time, I also provided dog sitting services on the side, building strong relationships with clients and their pets while reinforcing my passion for animal care in more personal, one-on-one settings Currently, I work full-time Monday through Friday, so my pet boarding availability is limited to mornings, evenings and weekends. However, I’m in the process of transitioning to pet sitting full time and will have much more flexibility once I get started. My goal is to offer consistent, attentive care with a schedule that accommodates both short- and long-term stays, including weekdays. I’m happy to work with clients on specific drop-off and pick-up times to ensure a smooth experience for both pets and their owners Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s, is something I approach with dedication and love. As a proud owner of a Rottweiler, I understand the importance of routine, patience, and positive reinforcement. I make sure each pet receives personalized attention—whether that means daily walks, playtime, administering medication, or maintaining feeding schedules. I’m attentive to their body language, energy levels, and emotional needs, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. My experience with a large breed dog has taught me the value of structure, gentle leadership, and compassion, all of which I bring to every pet I care for.

About: I have taken care of pets from a young age since I grew up with them always! I’d be happy to bathe, feed, walk, and play with dogs and cats!! I am currently not working so I have a lot of time; since I am in the process of looking for a healthcare job, I thought it would be super fun to take care of pets during my free time! I have a spacious apartment so they don’t feel closed in and my roommate has a cat to keep them company! I also live in a gated community to help keep pets safe when walking them.

“Miranda was great and even took howie to play at the tennis courts like I do and he loves!! She communicated with me everytime she came to walk and let my young guy get his energy out! Definitely recommend!”

“I highly recommend this walker. She is so communicative and knew all about my dog before walking her. ALSO, she walked my dog for longer than I booked her for (which I’m sure my dog LOVED). She took a bunch of pictures of my dog and sent them to me, and it looks like my dog loves her. Naomi will be my regular dog walker from now on!”

About: Proud pet dad with 20+ years of experience caring for animals. Currently parenting a sassy three-legged cat, four dogs—including a neurotic German Shepherd and three lovable, high-energy Pitbulls—and three spirited Quarter Horses. Skilled in reading body language and defusing tough situations, especially with dogs that don’t always see eye to eye. Animal harmony is my passion! I work full time from home and my schedule is flexible to whatever I want to do with my day which makes it easy. My only instances of not being available is if the wife is on a business trip I have 30 acres and three male dogs that do not always get along so we have a strict crate and bedroom rotation to keep everyone happy and safe at our home. It requires a lot of work so unique situations at home are not lost on me. I’m very passionate about working with my dogs I take them on three to four walks a day on our property and most of which are separated so I get 12k steps a day just looking after our crew. I have a remote job which allows me to be home with them. Thankfully this year my wife will also be remote which allows me some time to look after your pets with her being home more.

Since then I’ve had 2 cats both since they were kittens. I love playing and spoiling all animals. It brings such joy to watch their energy go up just from some enrichment. I’m an online college student who doesn’t really do much except chill at home with my cat lol. i’m available anytime anyday. Some days i am out of town but my availability is always up to date! I take care of my cat at home by playing with him his favorite toys and lick mats and giving him supervised balcony time. I also scoop his litter boxes 3 times a day as well as deep cleaning his litter box and surrounding weekly and his food bowl after each use. I’m very passionate about animals health and cleanliness. I will have a lot of time to provide pet care. I don’t work weekends and often stay home for the holidays. I live right behind a giant preserve and I am close to many trails. 3-4 walks a day is the standard. I’m okay with dogs on the couch and the bed ensuring they will be the coziest they can be.

4. Haley H.
“Oh my goodness Haley is perfect for this! She just loves animals. Being a nurse, she is a natural caregiver and doesn't shy away from the unpleasant side of tending for animals. She has grown up with pets her entire life. She not only was consistently asked to pet sit for all the neighbors on the street but also volunteered at the turtle rescue and wildlife sanctuary while she was a student. Haley cares for my pets whenever needed and they just adore her!”

5. Lesley & Joshua B.
“Lesley took amazing care of my dog, Noodle. Noodle is a very selective dog so it’s pretty difficult for me to find a good caretaker for her. Lesley paid close attention to my special instructions for Noodle including how she likes to be walked, how to make Noodle comfortable, and her dieting needs. I would recommend Lesley for any pet caregiving needs, she is amazing!”

6. Megan R.
“Hey there! I just had to take a moment to rave about Megan and why she would be an absolutely fantastic pet sitter for your furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends. If you're looking for someone who genuinely adores animals and has the knack for making them feel right at home, Megan is your gal. First off, Megan has this incredible ability to connect with pets on a whole new level. It's like she speaks their language! Whether it's a playful pup or a shy kitty, she knows just how to make them comfortable and happy. I remember when she took care of my dog, Max. He's usually a bit anxious around new people, but with Megan, it was love at first sight. She knew exactly how to calm him down and keep him entertained. But it's not just about the cuddles and playtime. Megan is super responsible and attentive. She never misses a feeding, always makes sure the water bowl is full, and gives the best belly rubs. And let's not forget about her attention to detail. When I came back from my trip, I found a detailed report of Max's day-to-day activities, including his favorite spots for walks and any little quirks she noticed. She's also incredibly flexible and reliable. Last-minute changes in plans? No problem for Megan. She always finds a way to accommodate, ensuring that your pets are never left alone or neglected. Plus, her communication skills are top-notch. She keeps you updated with cute photos and little notes, so you never have to worry about how your fur babies are doing. In short, Megan is a dream come true for any pet owner. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, making her the perfect choice for a pet sitter. Give her a try, and I promise you and your pets will be absolutely thrilled!”

7. Julia B.
“Julia is a phenomenal dog sitter and I highly recommend her for any pet care you may need. I've personally used Julia on many occasions over the past 2 years for our senior fur baby (Teddy) which involved significant medical needs (daily insulin injections 2x day). With her vet tech background I have been beyond impressed with Julia’s care, compassion, and abilities. She is trustworthy, extremely reliable, and has such a natural way with dogs. Teddy lights up whenever Julia arrives at the house! I have no hesitation in recommending Julia to anyone in need of dog sitting services. She is reliable, caring, and truly dedicated to the well-being of the animals she cares for!”

8. Aryana P.

13. Kenadi W.
“I was visiting family in my hometown, and she watched and made sure to take care of my pet cats, making sure the foog was in bowl and such, giving attention to them, love, but I have also given her connections to my dad who has two dogs, a golden retriever and a small pooch, and she groomed them very well, cut the paws, butts, ears, and cleaned them up very nicely. My dad said he loved it, and was grateful for her watching the dogs while he was out and spending time with me and family. Highly reccomend Kenadi, she's just good with animals overall, like a real life druid.”
