About: I have taken care of cats of all temperaments when I worked at a shelter. Some cats have a hard time with new people and that’s ok. I am very patient and respectful of their space and usually they let me do what I need to do. I also currently have a cat of my own who was formerly a stray and has some health issues so I have experience giving oral medication and eyedrops. I also feed a few stray cats in my area and they have come to accept my presence even though they’re pretty feral. Overall, I have experience with all kinds of cats and usually the answer is plenty of patience and they will at least accept my presence.

When he braced himself to bite into it but didn’t hurt his old teeth, he ran over and jumped onto my lap, licking my whole face until I was laughing, knowing he felt seen. He gained a few pounds over the next few weeks (6 pounds to 9, 50% more!). I was so happy that he could eat again without pain. He lived to be about 15 years old! For a chihuahua, that’s a very long happy life. I will treat your dog like it’s my own. Please share any special care needs with me. I am able to be very attentive. Your dog will be my top priority. I cater to special needs. Happy to send photos throughout the day. We treat them like family and have 4 responsible adults who share the space, all love dogs. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over eight years and have raised two of my own from puppies, training them myself and building a strong bond. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes—small, medium, and large—and can handle walks, baths, feeding schedules, and medication reliably. I love spending time playing, training, and cuddling with dogs, and I treat every pup as if they were my own, giving them love, attention, and care while their owners are away. Pets are an important part of my daily and weekly routine. On weekdays, I’m at school from 8 AM to 1-5 PM, depending on the day but outside of those hours I spend my time walking, feeding, playing with, and cuddling pets. On weekends, I’m fully available to give pets the attention, care, and love they need. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for no matter the day, and I enjoy incorporating them into my regular schedule so they always have consistent companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. I follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner, including feeding, medication, and exercise schedules. I make sure the environment is secure, clean, and pet-friendly, and I closely supervise pets to prevent accidents or stress. About: The loss of my very first cat (and best friend) happened because of a neglectful pet sitter. Ever since then, it is my goal to offer the safest and kindest care possible to all animals that I meet. Experience in Pet Care: Many years spent caring for the pets of my relatives, friends, and neighbors provided me with a vast and versatile experience. The experience includes the care of active large breeds, delicate small dogs, nursing vulnerable newborns of kittens, and medication schedules of senior cats. In my teens, people brought stray animals to my place for rehabilitation and treatment. Availability and Schedule: My flexible schedule is possible due to being a full-time student. My classes are carefully scheduled so that my pets will never be left alone for too long. I do not have a job outside of classes which allows for many free hours to see my clients midday, interact and give them personal care. I am a UF student who has class late morning/early afternoon. When I wake up I have a cuddle session with my cat and open the door for his little sister to join him. After I am done with classes I usually study, relax at my house with my cats and recently car train them and socialize them with unsocialized cats. This time is perfect for me to come visit or board a cat at home since I am generally home from 2-3pm until the rest of the day. I live in a cat/kitten proof apartment with a closed patio. There is a lot of toys, and two cat trees. I am very patient with cats and educated on ways to make them as comfortable as possible in a new/ stressful environnement.
