“I initially wanted to hire her to walk Koda twice daily. I’m glad she suggested he go to her place for doggy day care. I can tell he is having a blast. The family is very friendly. They’ve just earned a regular customer.”

“Alexander was AWESOME. At the last minute he was able to dog sit my grand pup Dakota, when my daughter was not able to find care in Tallahassee. Finding trusting individuals to take care of your precious babies can be hard. Alexander sent us pictures and check in several times to keep us posted on her health progress.”

“Kimberly is amazing. She has gone above and beyond for us continually, and she always tries to accommodate us whenever she can. I have had issues with my schedule on a few occasions as of late, and she has been flexible and so helpful when I've had to make adjustments. We miss her when she is out of town! Our dogs, particularly, LOVE her. I wish I could give her more stars.”

“Paola watched my dog for two days while I was at work, and it was a great experience. On the second day I dropped Angel off, she ran to Paola and jumped up with joy, which said everything. Paola was responsive, reliable, and clearly caring. She also sent updates throughout the day, which put my mind at ease and let me know Angel was doing great.”

“Although Puddin is 7 years old, this was her first time ever of being cared for in someone else’s home. We have always before had a house sitter in our absence. Nina went above and beyond expectations, picking up Puddin at my office once…and keeping her very late twice when I had after-work meetings. Her communication was excellent and Puddin was happy to see her each time. This was a good experience and I am grateful for how flexible and gracious Nina was for what was needed to make Puddin feel secure and my wife and I feel confident in Puddin’s care during a week when my wife needed to be away at a conference. Thank you, Nina!”

“Brenda and her mom took great care of my little boy for the day while I took care of some appointments. He had their company as well as their dog Scooby's. He came home happy and relaxed, and I'm happy to have found a great fit for daycare for my dog with isolation anxiety.”

About: I’ve been a dog-mom for the past 14 years. Recently, our dog crossed over the rainbow bridge and we want to love on some dogs the way our dog was loved. We have cared for puppies and senior dogs alike for many years. We are active and enjoy exercising and playing outside with dogs or just relaxing at home, depending on your pet’s needs. Both online teachers, we are organized and routine-oriented, and offer flexibility with scheduling. We currently do not have children or other animals in our home. We will take care of your dog as if it were our own. We are experienced in administering medicine and supplements as-needed. We will only watch one family’s dog(s) at a time to ensure your baby(ies) gets the attention he or she deserves. We have relied on Rover for many years in the past with our own dog so we understand the desire to feel comfortable with whom you leave your animal while you’re away. We hope you’ll choose us for your dog-sitting needs! Working from home, we have flexible schedules for pick-up and drop-off. We are able to spend lots of quality time with your pup! We have a neighborhood for walking dogs and live just a few miles from a dog park. We will ensure your dog gets the exercise or relaxation he or she needs.
“I needed a sitter extremely last minute for Butters (the day camp I originally booked was not able to accommodate him since he’s recovering from TPLO surgery) and Lesley responded ASAP. She was so caring and made sure he was comfortable with plenty of potty walks and pets! She also sent lots of updates and photos of how Butters was settling in. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, calm, loving home-away-from-home place for their pup while away.”

About: • SATURDAYS ARE FOR FREE. As a seventh-day adventist I observe the Sabbath, so I do not charge for Saturdays. However, I challenge you to use that money to help someone in need!🙏🏻 • 8 nights or more are $23/night (first dog)! • 1 dog + 1 cat $30/night • $15/day (first dog) for 3 days or more of weekly daycare. Daycare is closed on Saturdays. • I encourage last-minute bookings! If your pet is socialized there shouldn't be any problem. In any case we'll talk about the details and I'll see if I can help you out💪🏻 • Important! Offers might be denied or future rates adjusted for pets with undisclosed misbehaviors. So please, I'd appreciate your honesty before meeting, especially if it's a last-minute booking. • Both my apartment and the surrounding neighborhood are very quiet and peaceful. There's a lot of green areas AND a small dog park where they can walk (or run) freely! • Your pet will be part of the family while they're here! They'll receive frequent attention and love if they need it or simple constant caring company if they just want that. • Cats are more than welcome! We love cats too—especially my mom. And don't worry about my dog; he has been surrounded by cats since birth, so he simply ignores them. • I’m new to pet sitting, so take advantage of my current rates while I build up my experience and reviews! I paid for my background check already so I DO want to be here. I'm excited to meet new furred friends!😊 I occasionally need sitters myself so I know how hard it is to find one that's not painfully expensive AND that you're comfortable with. That's why I want to provide the experience I'd love to receive myself: an affordable care for your pets IN COMBINATION with the most approachable and relaxed atmosphere for you as possible, ESPECIALLY if you're going away for weeks and if you have multiple pets! Let's face it. You're only looking for someone who'd simply be there and take care of them because there's no other option. You'd do it yourself if you could! So shouldn't you find sitters that make you (and your wallet!) feel at peace with leaving your loving companion behind? That's why I'm here to help! A pet parent for pet parents =) (¡Español es mi primer idioma, por si se te hace más cómodo/fácil hablarme en español!) I am at home every day, all day long—except when I go out for groceries, which takes no more than two hours. Aside from that, I stay present and keep myself busy in the apartment. I cook, exercise, read, and am currently also studying for a professional certification. I don't have any visitors, nor do I go out for anything else. I moved in a few months ago. Here there's only my dog Mylo, my mother and me. • All of your pet's physical and emotional needs will be met—that is my absolute priority, including their absolute safety. • Regarding male dogs, since my dog is a bit picky at first with most of them, it may be necessary a 5-10 minute 'Parallel Walk' at the meet & greet. We'll just walk around the pond in front of the apartment 1 or 2 times. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I would NEVER intentionally harm an animal. I'd never lay even a finger on pets (to discipline them) that do not belong to me. • I never give human food to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, if you wish to ensure that your pet is the *only* one in my care (other than Mylo I mean) during their stay (for your own peace of mind), I can arrange it for a small additional fee. It is worth noting that, regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. I'll provide as regular communication as you need and pictures of your blessing daily. My goal is your peace of mind and their comfort! • I encourage you to ask me whatever else you need to know!
“Our dogs stayed with Nicole for two days and I could tell from the pictures and videos she sent me that they were happy to be there! One of the dogs had an UTI and Nicole made sure to take her every two hours. She was also very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend her!”

About: ☀️ Summer Safety Advisory ☀️ Due to Florida’s extreme heat and humidity, dogs are at serious risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in as little as 10–15 minutes of exertion during peak sun hours. Because of this, all walks during late spring through early fall may be shortened or adjusted for safety and replaced with enrichment-based activities, shaded sniff time, or indoor play when appropriate. Your dog’s health and comfort always come first. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I provide thoughtful, enrichment-focused care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My goal is not just to “get through” a visit, but to make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a background in wildlife sanctuary rehabilitation and have served as an adoptions director, which means I’ve worked hands-on with animals of all temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications ( just not injections), managing multi-pet households, and supporting shy, anxious, senior, or special-needs pets. My approach to pet care is informed by ongoing education in dog behavior, body language, and force-free, reward-based training. I pay close attention to stress signals, pacing, and environment, and I adjust each visit accordingly. Whether your dog needs structured activity, calm companionship, or space to decompress, I aim to meet them where they are. 🦴 Bonus Enrichment Option I also manage one of Gainesville’s top-rated private Sniffspots, The Zoomie Zone, located in Midtown. This fully private, reservation-only yard is ideal for dogs who benefit from off-leash play without the pressure of public dog parks. Many clients choose to incorporate Sniffspot visits into walks or drop-ins as a way to provide safe zoomies, sniff-based enrichment, or low-distraction decompression time. If you’re interested in adding a Sniffspot visit to your booking, feel free to ask. Returning clients can also receive discount codes for independent bookings. Whether we’re heading out for a structured walk, enjoying shaded sniff time, or keeping things low-key indoors, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care you can trust. 🗓️ Schedule and Booking Process To make sure every booking is safe, smooth, and a good fit, I require a free 15 minute meet and greet for all new clients. This takes place at the location where care will happen and helps ensure your pet’s comfort, safety, and compatibility with my services. -Exceptions Cats and puppies under 5 months do not require a meet and greet -Returning clients can fast track bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested booking so we have time to coordinate properly. After your initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another meet and greet so I can learn the new setup. 🚶♀️ Dog Walks and Drop Ins I batch dog walks and cat drop in visits into efficient routes using flexible time windows. This allows me to reduce travel time while still providing thoughtful, attentive care. Dog care windows Standard visits typically occur between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM Evening visits are available for dogs who need extra flexibility Cat care Preferred visit window is 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM If medications or strict timing are required, I adjust visits to meet those needs Dogs are typically prioritized earlier in the day due to restroom needs, but all pets receive the same level of care and attention. 🐾 Premium Boarding Boarding is a high end, in home service designed for clients who want a fully hands off experience. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walk or drop in routine with me. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable with my home, routine, and resident pets. While boarding with me, your dog will -Live in home as part of the household -Be the only boarding guest, receiving one on one attention -Receive daily enrichment and engagement -Enjoy supervised access to my private Sniffspot for play, sniffing, and decompression -Enrichment may include -Food puzzles such as West Paw Toppl meals -Nature walks or hikes in San Felasco, weather permitting -Field trips to quiet recreational fields when no other animals are present -Most dogs return home happy, fulfilled, and ready to nap. 🚨 Behavior Expectations and Safety The safety of my personal pets is a top priority. Dogs boarding with me must be comfortable around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. If a dog shows aggression toward any resident pets, boarding may be ended immediately. In these cases, care will be converted to drop in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship. 🚗 Premium Pick Up and Drop Off For added convenience, I offer a luxury pet transport add on. I can personally pick up and drop off your dog along my daily walking route No handoffs needed, simply leave your dog at home This service is priced to reflect the time, travel, and personalized care involved ⛔ Important Booking Policies -One free meet and greet is included for new clients -Additional meet ups should be booked as a walk or drop in to cover time and travel -All pets must be listed on your Rover profile prior to booking -You have 48 hours after the meet and greet to confirm your booking before the time slot may be released -House Sitting and Drop In services follow a 7 day cancellation policy If you have questions or special circumstances, I’m always happy to talk things through. In my home, pets and plants are family, and every animal in my care is treated with the same level of respect and attention. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Some thrive on companionship, others prefer play, structure, or quiet encouragement. My goal is to be a steady, calm presence your pet can rely on while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or hosting them for a field trip at The Zoomie Zone, I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and low stress environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. During each visit, you’ll receive a detailed update through the Rover Card, including notes on meals, potty breaks, mood, and anything noteworthy from our time together. Occasionally, if your pet gives me a particularly great moment, I may also send a favorite edited photo directly. Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, recently lost my first dog I owned on my own due to sickness. Work from home 3 days a week and home on weekends. I’m an active sitter who believes dogs thrive with frequent walks, playtime, and structure, not just being let outside. Whether your dog loves long walks, backyard zoomies, or relaxed companionship, I tailor care to their energy level and routine. I currently WFH 3 days a week and in office 2 days a week. Home on weekends, with an almost 2 year old human (attends daycare during week). I go on frequent walks or runs, spend plenty of time outside. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run or relax. I can easily crate your fur bay if needed. Love cuddles and company if they are the cuddly type.
About: I had dogs all growing up. I’ve helped pet sit for friends where I walked, fed and spent time with their animals and always enjoyed the experience. I’m not working right now so I have full availability and access to my schedule. My time and hours are flexible. I have plenty of time and energy to pet sit. I live in an apartment that is pet friendly and can take as many walks as needed and offer a lot of time spent at home with your pet.

Alex and Jo were very helpful and kind to accept my last minute request for daycare help. This was the second time they helped me with caring for my dog who has isolation anxiety, and again I felt totally comfortable and relaxed with my dog in their capable hands. He went to them gladly and came home happy. They are a great choice for dog care!
