All my life, I’ve had a deep love and respect for animals. Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of interacting with species of all shapes and sizes—from dogs and cats to rodents and raptors, horses and parrots, even terrapins and cetaceans. For over a decade, I worked at an animal welfare and conservation nonprofit, helping rescue and rehabilitate animals displaced by natural disasters or conflict zones. I’ve also dedicated hundreds of hours to volunteering at a local wildlife rehabilitation center, where I tended to injured and orphaned animals, assisting in their recovery and release back into the wild. Countless family members, friends, and colleagues have entrusted me with their pets, knowing I would provide them with the attentive, compassionate support they deserve. Simply put, caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. When it comes to household pets, I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy, providing gentle care for a senior dog, or tending to a pet with special needs that requires extra patience and attention, I tailor my approach to fit each dog's unique needs. I have experience with basic training, administering medications, and understanding canine body language to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. With my genuine connection to animals along with my extensive experience, I am fully committed to your pet’s well-being. Schedule
Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I have two dogs—Foxie, an eight-year-old street dog rescued from Romania, and Bailey, a 16-year-old Beagle mix who was rescued from an elderly couple no longer able to provide her with the specialized care she needs. I’m available both weekdays and weekends, allowing me to organize my schedule around you and your pet’s needs. Day to day, I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to prioritize long walks and home visits. I currently work part-time from home, giving me plenty of time to provide your fur baby with attention and stimulation during daycare and boarding. When you book with me, you’ll have not just one, but two people dedicated to caring for your pet! My partner is just as much of an animal person as me. She also works from home, so even when I need to step out, someone will always be here to keep an eye on your pet. With us two, along with Foxie and Bailey, there will always be a full house with lots of socialization—ensuring your fur baby always has company and never feels lonely while you're away. Overall, my routine is highly adaptable, allowing me to offer reliable and consistent care for your pets, keeping them happy, healthy, and well-loved every day. Safety, trust & environment
Ensuring the safety, comfort, and happiness of every pet in my care is my top priority. For boarding and daycare services, I’m happy to care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes, including multiple dogs at once. However, with my two dogs at home, your fur baby must get along with other dogs. I offer a pet-friendly environment with a large fenced-in backyard for play and exercise, several cozy dog beds for relaxation, a variety of toys for stimulation, and designated areas for feeding and water. At home, we don't enforce a strict "no pets on furniture" policy, so your fur baby is welcome to join us on the sofa or bed. Since we’re usually home, your dog won’t be kenneled for long periods, and even when we leave, we won’t kennel them unless needed for their well-being or if they’re not well-behaved when unsupervised. Our home is situated in a spacious, enclosed neighborhood, perfect for long walks without heavy traffic, and we're also close to several parks to provide additional enrichment. Overall, I believe in striking the right balance when caring for your pet—closely supervising interactions to ensure a positive, stress-free experience while allowing enough freedom for their daily activities to feel natural and not overly restricted. When caring for a pet at a client’s home, I believe in maintaining their usual routine to minimize stress and help them feel comfortable in your absence. Whether it’s sticking to specific feeding schedules, encouraging regular exercise, administering medications as needed, or engaging in their favorite playtime activities, I carefully follow all instructions to provide consistency and stability. I treat each home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure, from locking up gates to monitoring the safety of outdoor areas. I also make it a priority to respect your belongings and privacy, ensuring your personal items are handled with care and never disturbed. Additionally, I’m happy to provide regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is to build trust with both pets and their owners, ensuring that both feel safe, at ease, and well cared for throughout the entire experience.
