Hi! My name is Vanessa. I’m a veterinarian who graduated in Venezuela and previously worked at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. I’m also a mom of two and a fitness instructor. As both a mom and a veterinarian, I understand that pets are cherished members of the family. I provide loving, personalized care in a safe home environment, treating every pet as if they were my own. Thanks to my veterinary background, I’m also experienced in administering medications and caring for pets with special medical needs. When the weather is nice, our guests enjoy multiple supervised play sessions in our fully fenced backyard. Many love running, playing with friends, and even cooling off in our dog friendly kiddie pool. My goal is to make every stay fun, safe, and stress free. I look forward to meeting your furry family members soon!

We had Vanessa watch our two dogs and couldn’t be happier! We did a meet and greet first, and both dogs took to her right away. Daisy, our high-energy almost 1-year-old 56 lb American Staffordshire/pit mix, warmed up to her instantly. Nanook, our 8 lb min pin/chihuahua mix who can be standoffish and needs a few minutes to warm up to new people, also came around quickly with Vanessa. She let them out twice during her visit, and it was clear the dogs were comfortable and happy with her. It’s such a relief to be able to leave our babies with someone and not feel stressed or worried — we know they’re in good hands. We’ll definitely be booking Vanessa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, dog-friendly sitter!
Vanessa was amazing! She kept me updated throughout the puppy’s stay. I’ve been hesitant in the past to leave my pup with anyone, but would without a doubt rebook with Vanessa in the future.
Vanessa is WONDERFUL. She kept our dogs for the weekend at the last minute. She was accommodating and really listened to our instructions and adjusted to our dog’s needs while they were there. The dogs came back home tired and happy (thank you, Vanessa and family).
Vanessa was amazing with our dog. She was very attentative, let him play outside, fed him well, and sent me updates and pictures. I reccomend her and will definitely request her services again.

Vanessa did an awesome job taking care of our two doodles! She was very good at communicating and sent pictures daily of our pups. She took them on walks and has a big back yard for them to play. They seemed very happy there with her & her family & playing with some new puppy friends. I would definitely recommend her!

Schedule
I’m a mother of two so we like kid friendly Dogs. And we always have a good time there is enough love for them in our house. I am not home full-time, but I do have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to properly care for any pet staying in my home. Pets receive lots of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and a loving family environment.

Our House has a nice front and back yard the back yard is fenced and they can play a lot there. When weather and my schedule it’s clear like to take play in backyard with them and do long walks around my neighborhood as a fitness instructor that would be a great motivation to complete my daily steps 😅 also kids love to be outdoors.
Pets
A typical day
Since I spend a lot of time at home, I’m usually with them throughout the day and rarely leave for more than 2–3 hours. When I’m home, dogs have frequent access to my fully fenced backyard, often every hour, for potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment. Most of the time I host other friendly dogs as well, so they enjoy supervised socialization, indoor play, outdoor activities, and lots of family interaction. We treat every dog like part of our family.
