Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: I had dogs all growing up. I’ve helped pet sit for friends where I walked, fed and spent time with their animals and always enjoyed the experience. I’m not working right now so I have full availability and access to my schedule. My time and hours are flexible. I have plenty of time and energy to pet sit. About: Hi I’m Terra and I will love your dog as if they were my own. I take care of dogs in all ages, even new puppies! If they're not potty trained, still biting, etc, don't worry about it. Send them my way and I'll work on it with them while you're away. Your pup will be watched over by me with the utmost love and care. I live in a private neighborhood on a few acres with a completely fenced yard. Plenty of space to run around and no escape routes. If your dog is outside, I am outside with them, they will not be left alone out there. I have 6 years of experience dog-sitting, and have 3 very sweet dogs of my own who know how to accept a new friend. If your dog has any special needs, I will make sure to take care of that. I work from home, so your pup will be in company all day. I also live 10 minutes from a Pet ER in case of any emergency. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! I work full-time from home, and am usually home most of the day on the weekends (gone no longer than 5 hours max, usually less). I’m available every day of the week. I live on a few acres (all yard!) that is completely fenced in. I have plenty of space in the house for their crate if you have them crate-trained.
