About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Trusting me to come into your home is a big deal, and I would never want to jeopardize your peace of mind.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve volunteered at animal shelters since I was eight, where I gained hands on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I work out of the house most days from 7am-5pm, but my wife is home most days during the week with the exception of Thursday and Friday. It's important for a pet owner to feel comfortable and confident in the person trusted with their pets safety and well being. As such, especially when in someone else's home, the best practice is to listen! Owners know their pet better than anyone, so it's important not to assume that we as caregivers always know what's best. Within our home, we have a large yard with diverse terrain and are off a series on low-traffic streets. Animals that get along will generally have run of the interior and when applicable to owner preferences, access to exterior.
