“Kim is so lovely and is my pups new best friend! I am so happy to have found her. Kim sent me lots of videos and pictures, which was much appreciated. I will not hesitate to use her again.”

“Gracie is wonderful! She came to our home to meet Frankie, our spoiled Marginated tortoise and us. She was super friendly and sweet. Did not hesitate to rub Frankie and show her love. When Frankie decided to be greedy and eat almost three bowls of food in less than two days Gracie agreed to move up her scheduled drop-in to early morning and give Frankie more food. Gracie gave us peace of mind and comfort when we traveled and our looking forward to working with her again soon. Thank you so very much Gracie!”

“She did a fantastic job taking care of my puppy during the drop in visits. She was attentive, followed all instructions and made sure my puppy was safe and well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend again”

“Ashley did a wonderful job watching my two fur babies! I loved receiving the update cards and photos and it gave me peace of mind to know someone as responsible and kind as Ashley was watching out for them in the comfort of their own home. Will definitely be calling again!”

“Samantha did a great job taking care of our two dogs while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and was very responsive to texts. Highly recommend her if you need a petsitter!”

“Lindsay did a great job taking care of my cat. She even offered to make an extra trip to bring in a Amazon package. She provided lots of photos and updates in the Rover Card which helped put me at ease with my anxious kitty. My cat came out on the first day Lindsay stopped in which means she must have made her feel safe. :)”

“Brooke was a lifesaver! I booked her day of for 2 drop in visits for my 8mo old Shiba Inu Neko. Neko is at the tail end of recovering from her spay surgery, so I didn’t want to leave her alone for a long period of time when I had to go to tampa. Brooke was so communicative and sent pictures and updates for both visits. I will definitely use her again!”

About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Trusting me to come into your home is a big deal, and I would never want to jeopardize your peace of mind.
“As a business owner in the boarding and dog industry myself, trusting someone to stay in my home and care for my dogs was a huge deal for me — especially since our dogs have quite a few senior and special-care needs. Jonathan absolutely exceeded every expectation. We are definitely “those” pet owners with a million instructions wanting everything done just right, and he handled all of it with patience, kindness, and professionalism. His communication was incredible. Any time I reached out, he responded within minutes, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s very rare to find people you genuinely trust with your home and your animals, but he made the entire experience stress-free. The dogs were well cared for, happy, and all of their special needs were accommodated without issue. Honestly, this experience changed things for us. For the first time, we actually feel like we can travel and enjoy vacations without worrying the entire time. We’re already planning our next trip knowing we have a person we can truly rely on. Highly, highly recommend Johnathan Absolute gems.”

“This was our second time using Raegan to drop in on our 2 cats and we highly recommend! She followed all of our care instructions and kept our home clean for when we returned and was very responsive anytime we needed to reach her. We definitely suggest using her for your pet sitting needs!”

“Brittany was amazing with our dogs. She was prompt, took our big boy for walks and sent us pictures everyday. She was also very understanding with our little old man and his special needs. We will be definitely be using her again.”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs for years. I came from an animal-loving family, we got our first dog when I was 7, and now at home I have two cats and one dog of my own, so I understand how much routine and a calm, familiar presence matter to pets while their owner is away. I also consistently take care of my brother and sister-in-law's eight cats whenever they're on vacation, so multi-cat households and individual routines are second nature to me. Beyond my own household, I also volunteer with cat rescues. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and treat every cat's home and routine with the same care I give my own. I'm currently working from home, and my work is mostly project based, so I'll have plenty of time to pop in and check on your pets. I offer drop-in visits on weekends and weekdays. I'm happy to work around your pet's usual routine — feeding times, play times, or medication schedules. I can also do multiple visits a day if your pet needs more frequent check-ins. For drop-in visits, I'll come to your home to care for your pet in their own familiar environment. I have experience with dogs and cats, including regular care of my own pets and cat-sitting for family. I'm attentive to safety details like secure doors and gates, and I always follow any specific instructions you leave for feeding, medication, or house rules.
“Last minute we decided we did not want to use a kennel to board Misty and turned to Rover very last minute. We found Emily and she responded immediately and agreed to take care of our 1 year old Lab who is very high energy loving everyone with overwhelming enthusiasm. She was timely and communicated her interactions with Misty putting our worries to rest allowing us to enjoy our day. We will continue to ask her to watch our girl when there is a need.”

“Bruny is AMAZING. I am so attached to my cat also knowing that he has cancer and Bruny gave me peace knowing Rory is ok when I went travelling for Spring Break. I didn't have to worry whether if he was OK because Bruny would always send me updates and pictures of how Rory was doing. When we had our meet-up, she showed her knowledge in taking care of Rory and making sure that everything is set and ready to go. SHE IS AMAZINGGGGG! I highly recommend you booking her. Her personality is the best and she genuinely cares about taking care of your pet. My boyfriend and I just also recently rescued a cat (staying at my BF place) and she donated bowls and food for her and it was the most sweetest thing ever. Seriously, you can't go wrong with booking Bruny! I would definitely book her again.”
“Christina took great care of our 2 hound dogs, including our young puppy! She sent lots of photo updates and was very great at communicating. We have already booked her services again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
