I am happy to work with you because I would want the same for my dogs. Hey there! I'm a MASSIVE animal lover that graduated from the Zoo program at Santa Fe College, and I am currently working full time on Rover. I'm here for your last minute needs! Big pups, small pups, I love them all. My husband and daughter are very involved as well so your fur baby basically gains an extended family when they stay with us. <3 <3 <3 I have a big back yard, comfy couch, and a 17 year old teen who also loves animals- so your pup will never be lonely. I am available 24/7 via text message, and other apps. (Limited cell service though so calling is limited. ) I have 4 indoor cats as well, but they have their own space (bedroom) and prefer to hide out there if there are any 4 legged visitors. I live on 1 acre in Alachua, Florida and about half of that is fenced, so we have a fully fenced back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I'm also close to the I-75 interstate. I take my job very seriously and understand how stressful it can be to have to leave your pets with a stranger. I always recommend a meet and greet first before booking with me, but sometimes things are last minute and that's okay too. I have a large yard and can take them out as often as needed. I allow pets on my furniture, and all my other doors in the house stay shut at all times. About: I have been a veterinary technician/nurse for the past 13 years. My whole life is dedicated to animals and providing them compassionate care. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I also have a degree in agriculture and have cared for livestock. I truly love all animals and will always take care of each individual pet as if they were my own. I have a team of veterinary professionals that I can reach out to if there was every animal emergency or guidance needed. In home: I have property where I can take the dogs out on long walks and can play with them with a great deal of space. They will always have access to water and will feed them according to their set schedules. I have space for crates if your pets do better crated while inside and if I’m away. They will be smothered with cuddles and treats if I’m able to. Clients Home: I will make sure to adhere to the routine you have already established at home, whether that’s long walks or playing in the backyard. Stick to the feeding schedule and ensure they are stress free while you’re away.

About: I have 2 cats and a dog of my own, all of which I’ve adopted in the past 2 years. I grew up on a cattle farm in Wisconsin so I enjoy working with all types of animals. Since working in healthcare for the past 5 years, my love for taking care of others (including their pets) has grown immensely. I promise to care for and love your pet as my own. I currently work 2 part-time jobs but the total hours per week can range from 10-30 so I tend to have a good amount of free time. There is only about 3-5 days per month that I am unavailable the entire day. I live in a community with plenty of trails and dog runs. I am within walking distance of several parks including picnic island. I truly enjoy walking animals even in the Florida heat so I always make sure to bring plenty of water, toys, and a towel for resting. I’ve trained my cats to go on walks with me so I have also learned how to sense most pets’ needs.

About: I care very much for the well being of animals and want to make sure that the pets waiting for their owners feel safe with me. After work is usually when I will be able to, my work schedule is pretty random so I would work with the pet owners depending on how long they need me for. My backyard is nice and big enough to run around, but not secure enough for me to leave the pet alone back there. My front yard is nice too but needs the front gate fixed.

About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Trusting me to come into your home is a big deal, and I would never want to jeopardize your peace of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15 for family, friends and neighbors. I’ve house sat for family friends as well as dog sat for co-workers. I enjoy all animals and look forward to helping with your animals :) I work full time 8:30-5 Monday through Friday. I can feed and walk dogs before work as well as after work and full availability on weekends. I have a fenced yard and a black lab named Oscar to keep your animal company. I also have two sweet cats that stick to themselves for the most part. I have a dog crate and am able to crate Oscar if necessary.
