About: Hi! My name is Katie, and I have been around animals my entire life. I have owned and cared for dogs since I was born and have experience caring for both dogs and foster cats of all ages. I am comfortable handling puppies, kittens, adult pets, and senior animals, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I currently have two friendly, neutered, and trained dogs who are well-socialized with other animals. If a pet prefers their own space, I also have the ability to keep dogs separated to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. I'm a MASSIVE animal lover that graduated from the Zoo program at Santa Fe College, and I am currently working full time on Rover. I'm here for your last minute needs! Big pups, small pups, I love them all. My husband and daughter are very involved as well so your fur baby basically gains an extended family when they stay with us. <3 <3 <3 I have a big back yard, comfy couch, and a 17 year old teen who also loves animals- so your pup will never be lonely. I am available 24/7 via text message, and other apps. (Limited cell service though so calling is limited. ) I have 4 indoor cats as well, but they have their own space (bedroom) and prefer to hide out there if there are any 4 legged visitors. I live on 1 acre in Alachua, Florida and about half of that is fenced, so we have a fully fenced back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I'm also close to the I-75 interstate. I take my job very seriously and understand how stressful it can be to have to leave your pets with a stranger. I always recommend a meet and greet first before booking with me, but sometimes things are last minute and that's okay too. About: My family had dogs for the majority of my life, and I was often the one tasked of taking care of them. I bathed, fed, took them to the vet, and walked them. About: I care very much for the well being of animals and want to make sure that the pets waiting for their owners feel safe with me. After work is usually when I will be able to, my work schedule is pretty random so I would work with the pet owners depending on how long they need me for. My backyard is nice and big enough to run around, but not secure enough for me to leave the pet alone back there. My front yard is nice too but needs the front gate fixed.

About: I began house sitting in high school for close family friends and neighbors. The first family who trusted me had quite the crew — two birds, a turtle, two senior cats, a dog, and even a couple of fish. Caring for their pets, especially the cats, taught me early on how important consistency and attention to routines can be. Since then, I’ve cared for and walked many dogs while babysitting and nannying, both for short visits and overnight stays. I understand the level of detail it takes to help pets feel comfortable and to give owners peace of mind while they’re away. I also have experience caring for pets with medical needs. My own dog tore his ACL while I was in college, and for months I carried him up and down stairs while managing his recovery. He also had allergies that required daily medicated baths, a special diet, and multiple medications. He was clever enough to try to outsmart me when it came to pills, which taught me patience, creativity, and a sense of humor when caring for animals. I truly believe every pet has a unique personality. I approach pet care with attentiveness, patience, and playfulness so animals feel safe, understood, and well cared for. I work a full-time schedule during the week, but I’m happy to provide care before and after work and occasionally in the evenings depending on timing and location.
