When I reunited with Kaussie, it was evident that Kaussie had already fallen in love with Brenda and her family due to the exceptional care he received. Most of all, Brenda's backyard is incredibly spacious and securely fenced, so Kaussie might have been reluctant to come back to his home, lol. About: My family had dogs for the majority of my life, and I was often the one tasked of taking care of them. I bathed, fed, took them to the vet, and walked them. They were all elderly dogs, so they have sadly passed away. Their names were Peanut, Waddlesworth, and Snickers. I’m currently a proud cat owner (or her servant, if you ask her) of Luna. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years, to include caring for senior dogs through end of life care. During the day I’m a special education tutor, so have tons of patience and empathy! I’m comfortable administering medication, caring for hot spots or other treatments to vet orders, and keeping a watchful eye while you’re away! Part time tutor, part time studying for law school, so your pup will get plenty of belly scratches and one on one attention. My dog loves being around other four legged friends, so they will have a built in bestie to run around with (or just sit around with). I either work from home or have two hour sessions with my clients. My brother lives with me, so someone will almost always be around to let the dogs out and give them plenty of love and attention. (Limited cell service though so calling is limited. ) I have 4 indoor cats as well, but they have their own space (bedroom) and prefer to hide out there if there are any 4 legged visitors. I live on 1 acre in Alachua, Florida and about half of that is fenced, so we have a fully fenced back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I'm also close to the I-75 interstate. I take my job very seriously and understand how stressful it can be to have to leave your pets with a stranger. I always recommend a meet and greet first before booking with me, but sometimes things are last minute and that's okay too. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I also have a degree in agriculture and have cared for livestock. I truly love all animals and will always take care of each individual pet as if they were my own. I have a team of veterinary professionals that I can reach out to if there was ever an animal emergency or guidance needed. My goal is to make sure that while the pet parent is away, their loved ones are well cared for! Pet care is a daily staple for me: my job is very flexible and I am able to move my job around to tend to the needs of the pets I am caring for. Whether that’s me coming home on a regular basis or stopping by your home to a similar routine of your own. My goal is to achieve the same routine you would have while you’re home to give your loved ones the stable routine they’re used too! In home: I have property where I can take the dogs out on long walks and can play with them with a great deal of space. They will always have access to water and will feed them according to their set schedules. I have space for crates if your pets do better crated while inside and if I’m away. They will be smothered with cuddles and treats if I’m able to. Clients Home: I will make sure to adhere to the routine you have already established at home, whether that’s long walks or playing in the backyard. Stick to the feeding schedule and ensure they are stress free while you’re away.
About: I’ve loved animals since I was little, I’ve always been surrounded by all different kinds of dogs ranging from mastiffs to chihuahuas and I love them all! I would enjoy the opportunity to spend time and take care of your fur babies! I’m currently not working and will be starting classes in the spring, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available Monday through Friday from around 7 AM to 9 PM, and I’m also available most weekends. I’m happy to provide morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have three dogs of my own and I have taken care of my neighbors and family members animals. I am currently going to school and playing softball but I have time in the mornings to walk and play with your pets and I am free from Saturday about noon to the rest of the weekend. About: I care very much for the well being of animals and want to make sure that the pets waiting for their owners feel safe with me. After work is usually when I will be able to, my work schedule is pretty random so I would work with the pet owners depending on how long they need me for. My backyard is nice and big enough to run around, but not secure enough for me to leave the pet alone back there. My front yard is nice too but needs the front gate fixed.
About: I’m a student and lifelong animal lover with years of pet store experience. My home is a mini-zoo with a German Shepherd, two cats, and pet rats! I’ve also kept everything from snakes to saltwater aquariums, so I’m comfortable with any species. Im am currently focusing on taking care of your fur babies. I'm flexible.
