About: Hi! I’m Diana, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all sizes. My husband and I have two dogs, Dolly (a Great Pyrenees) and Cash (a Golden Retriever), who are cherished members of our family. We live on a large property with a fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of space to play and explore. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide lots of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I will care for them like they’re my own. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry family members and give them a safe, happy, and loving place to stay Since I work from home, I’m able to provide lots of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. As long as it’s not 100 degrees outside, I love to take my dogs on walks throughout the day My husband and I have two dogs, Dolly (a Great Pyrenees) and Cash (a Golden Retriever), who are cherished members of our family. About: I’m a student and lifelong animal lover with years of pet store experience. My home is a mini-zoo with a German Shepherd, two cats, and pet rats! I’ve also kept everything from snakes to saltwater aquariums, so I’m comfortable with any species. Im am currently focusing on taking care of your fur babies. I'm flexible. As long as your baby is animal friendly I can possibly board at my home. I don't usually do boarding at my home but possibly. I will do as instructed at your residence. Just need to let me know what they are used too.

About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Trusting me to come into your home is a big deal, and I would never want to jeopardize your peace of mind.

About: Aloha, I'm Anna Lyra 😊 I've connected deeply with animals my whole life, and began caring for them around age 11. I grew up with dogs and cats, and have a great love for all creatures. Cats are my specialty, though my skills are also effective with dogs and all kinds of other animals. I am a Cat Whisperer with extensive knowledge and experience. My cats remain at optimal health due to my physical and energetic care of them. I practice Reiki (energy healing) that is very effective with animals. For now, I'm offering my Reiki treatments for free as I am new to Rover (with purchase of Day Visits, House Sitting, or Dog Walking). I also have experience with animal hospice care, during which the Reiki treatments are especially supportive. Here's a review of my care for a 21+ year old cat who was nearing the end of her life: "You have a gift, and Princess and I are blessed to be on the receiving end of your gift. Yes, you’re a kitty-sitter, and yes you helped with her urinating outside of the box, but what you’re offering is much much much deeper than that. I think you have a calling for this, well, I don’t “think” - I know you have a calling for this, and I am just so grateful that we found you and so grateful to be on the receiving end of your gift.” -Arthur, February 2026 So I've been doing animal care for a long time with shining 5 star reviews, I'm just new to Rover! ✨😊✨ I'm self-employed with a very flexible schedule. I can work with you to sculpt the ideal care that your pet(s) needs. We can talk about possibilities✨ My pets and my client's pets are a top priority and I take it very seriously. My own cats benefit from the highest quality food, attention, and environment. I provide gentle focused care with therapeutic touch & massage. I am highly attuned to their needs & emotions. While I am a Cat Whisperer, my care for all animals goes above and beyond. I treat others as I want to be treated: keeping honesty, safety, and high quality care with positive loving energy at the forefront.

About: I care very much for the well being of animals and want to make sure that the pets waiting for their owners feel safe with me. After work is usually when I will be able to, my work schedule is pretty random so I would work with the pet owners depending on how long they need me for. My backyard is nice and big enough to run around, but not secure enough for me to leave the pet alone back there. My front yard is nice too but needs the front gate fixed.

About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life and can't imagine my home without them. Animals give us unconditional love, and they deserve the same in return. I have given IV treatments to ailing cats with kidney damage and experience with dispersing meds/pills by mouth. I will treat all your loved ones with the same care that I provide my own. I am retired; I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. I am happy to feed, water and clean pet areas as part of my home visits. I will scoop litter boxes as well. I take their health seriously and fresh water/food is a very important part of staying healthy. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.

I'm currently freelance and always available for on call if needed! I'm much busier on the weekends but can always make time for puppies and kitties who need me and to help ease pet parent anxiety! I live in an apartment at the moment, and my landlord keeps chickens on the property so I much prefer other spaces to work in if possible!

FAQs for Dog Walking - Brooker

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 748 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Brooker. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Brooker. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Brooker.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brooker. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
