About: *Moving to Orlando on August 16th* I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 13. In my hometown I volunteered at a dog rescue called Plenty of Pitbulls. During that time, I housed a hospice dog and worked at adoption events/fundraisers. My family has also had multiple dogs, cats, rats and geckos which I've helped take care of. I love cats and dogs alike and would love to get to know yours! I am currently a full time student at UCF. I am doing aerospace engineering so I'm looking for a part time job. I love animals so thought this would be perfect. I am currently not offering overnight boarding but I would love to get more exercise playing and walking your dogs. I also would love to relax and play with your cats.

About: I have been fostering animals for the past 10 years including pregnant dogs and cats, newborns, elders, sick, healthy, and everything in between. I have two cats of my own who are my whole world. I love animals more than anything, and would love to get to know yours! I work for the County in a 24 hour organization where I also do on-call shifts. My schedule is extremely flexible, and I also do a lot of remote work. I’m able to take breaks in my day for drop-in’s, and adjust my schedule to meet your pets needs. I have a small fenced yard and live in a very quiet neighborhood where all the dogs are friendly. My two cats are used to me bringing home friends for them frequently since I foster a lot, and they used to live with a St. bernard and a Jack Russel so they’re used to dogs.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and patience for every pet I care for. I take the time to understand their unique personalities, ensuring they feel safe, happy and loved while you are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and always here to give you peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my part-time routine, allowing me to focus on building meaningful connections with pets, and their owners while I explore and shape my career goals! I follow each pets routine closely, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m patient, responsive to their needs and keep their environment, clean and secure, always prioritizing their well-being and peace of mind of their owners.

About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life. My last dog was 18 and 1/2 yrs old when I lost her. She was my best friend and I still miss her 9 yrs later. Animals give us unconditional love and they deserve the same in return. They communicate with us if we keep our minds open to it. I am semi retired, I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. My cats are on a timed feeding schedule of prescription cat food and 3 weekly feeding of fresh wet cat food with no by products, just protein, rice and broth. I check their weight weekly and they receive vet visits quarterly like clock work. I take their health as seriously as I take my own. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.

About: We don’t deserve dogs! I’ve cared for my diabetic mastiff growing up and now my active coonhound from puppy to adult. I got you friend I work from home so my schedule is wide open for your pup. I’m available Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings for drop in walks. I have experience with crate trained and non-crate trained dogs and will respect your home routines to keep your dog safe, comfortable, while having fun.

About: Hello! My name is Lauryn and I’ve always grown up with pets. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and have experience in grooming them and taking care of them. I’ll be working M-TH 0700-1700. I’d be more than happy to stop by before and after work if I needed to, plus F-SU I’m free! I’m currently not working and do online school! I have a lot of free time! I would prefer weekdays, but I don’t mind weekend sitting. I have experience waking dogs that range from Chihuahuas to English Mastiffs. I would prefer an environment that is closed off; however I do have experience walking dogs in an open area. When caring for animals I have a lot of knowledge. I helped my retriever/beagle mix give birth to her puppies, and I have helped her many times with storm anxiety and ptsd.

“Fantastic support for your dog. Christina is reliable, kind, great with animals, and someone you can trust.”

“Paige has been walking my two dogs and I am so grateful! She is punctual, communicative, compassionate and loving. I always know that, when my dogs are with her they are safe and having a great time walking. I highly recommend her to all Rover People!”

About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of pets. Have taken care of puppies to senior dogs so your pet will be in good hand also have a vet down the road from the house I work full time during the week but have the weekends available to give your pet attention that they need also can board through the week I have one dog and a fence in yard which is .5 an acre so plenty of room to run around and play plenty of toys also

About: I grew up on a farm in Kentucky and have always had animals. Cats, dogs, horses, mules, goats, parrots, ducks, fish, chicken, rabbits, you name it! After moving to Florida, the pet fam downsized considerably to just cats and dogs. Having recently retired from a career in real estate, I completely understand how hard it is to be apart from your furry companions. My goal is to provide peace of mind for pets and their humans when they have to be separated due work or travelling. It's hard for your pets to be apart from you, that is why I will do my absolute best to make sure they are comfortable, happy and receiving lots of attention. When you book with me, you get not one but two old people to care for your pets! My husband Bruce is semi-retired, but is just as much an animal person. Growing up in Miami, he always had reptiles - iguanas, lizards, snakes, turtles - because he was allergic. When he outgrew his allergies the family added dogs. There will be no shortage of pets and playing when Bruce is around. I am often asked why I, of all people, currently have no animals at home. Well, I would need to go back to work full time to supplement our fixed retirement income. Then, our pets would be left at home all day while we work. No bueno! That's why we decided to be "empty nesters" ourselves but offer our help to others who do not have the time flexibility that we do now. *Actually over 50 years each, but who's counting! My schedule is flexible, with plenty of time to play and give your pets attention. Weekday and weekend availability. Just let me know what you need and we'll work it out. When your pet stays in my home, I will provide a clean and comfortable home away from home. I have a big fenced yard to keep your dog secure and allow plenty of room to exercise.

“Bruny was super flexible for this last-minute walk. Very attentive and friendly!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs ever since I was born and I take care of my moms, grandmas, and best friends dogs while they’re away! I’m currently working part time but I’m mostly available after 12pm. I’m in nursing school so Mondays I won’t be available until after 2 as I’m at the hospital but weekends are fully open! I cannot care for your pets at my house unfortunately at the moment. But at your house I would love to go on long walks with your dogs if you have them or hang out with any cats and of course feed and play with the animals!

“Richard was amazing!!! From giving my pups lots of love and attention to sending updates and photos as he was caring for our Brentley! He paid attention to details and followed the notes that were left for my dog! I would definitely recommend booking Richard as your sitter!”

About: Hey there, my name is Brianna but most people call me Booey. I own a home in the Springtree neighborhood in NW Gainesville. I live here with my husband and a pack of three pups: Koda, a 15 yr old miniature dachshund, Harper, a 4 yr old plott hound mix, and Lupe, a 1 yr old “Florida brown dog” until we get her embark results back! We enjoy long walks throughout the neighborhood and spending time outside in the yard (open in front/fenced in back). Koda is getting a bit confused with her age, she normally finds her preferred dog bed for a nap. Harper loves just about everything, especially food and playing in the backyard. Lupe is high energy and anxious with strangers, but she LOVES dogs and makes fast friends. They will be an excellent companions for your pup while you are away. This home is full of plenty of windows and natural light for your dog to enjoy. I take pup care very seriously and can assure you that they would be treated as if they were part of my own pack! I send at least 3 photo updates per day (morning, afternoon, and night) happy to send more/less on request. My husband and I are full-time PhD students. We often work from home unless we have an appointment on campus. This also means we are quite the night owls so never hesitate to reach out, no matter the time. We love all animals, but pups especially! We typically like to introduce new dogs to ours either in the front yard or in the back yard so that it is not too overwhelming for your pup. We have three dogs that are accustomed to being around lots of different dogs. Harper and Lupe especially love playing “host” and playing/cuddling as much as is accepted by your pup. We do not like to leave the dogs unattended so either myself or my husband will be home during the pup visit. If absolutely necessary that we both be out, we will separate the dogs for just-in-case safety reasons.

“Kayleigh was very friendly and did great with my greyhound.”
