About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life and can't imagine my home without them. Animals give us unconditional love, and they deserve the same in return. I have given IV treatments to ailing cats with kidney damage and experience with dispersing meds/pills by mouth. I will treat all your loved ones with the same care that I provide my own. I am retired; I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. I am happy to feed, water and clean pet areas as part of my home visits. I will scoop litter boxes as well. I take their health seriously and fresh water/food is a very important part of staying healthy. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.

About: Biggest dog lover! Grown up with dogs my entire life, I currently own a senior yellow lab named Copper 🩵 he’s my best friend! Very experienced in lots of different breeds and temperaments. My pup Copper is my soulmate and I know yours is too, I would be so happy to care for them 🫶🏻 I work full time as a neonatal respiratory therapist and have 3-4 days off per week. I am looking for something productive to fill my time and honestly nothing sounds better! I live on 5 acres with a fenced in yard! We also have a pool that’s available for playtime on hot days! About: I currently own an Australian Shepherd, so i understand the importance of activities and mental stimulation a dog needs to be happy, calm, and healthy. Im currently almost always available, which means ill be able to help out as much as possible when it comes to pet care and house sitting. About: Since middle school, I have grown up caring for many different animals. I was responsible for the care of my pets; including two rabbits, three guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and four snakes. All of these pets lived a very lavish and spoiled life. During high school, I used my volunteer hours fostering dogs, rehabilitating them for their forever homes. The care for these dogs included feeding, walking/playing, training, and medical care. I started working in the veterinary medicine field almost two years ago. This field has given me the experience of providing compassionate medical care, no matter the patient. I am now a full time student studying for radiology. I am a full time student, in which I attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am free in the early mornings and late afternoons of those two days. The rest of the week is completely free besides the 2-3 hours I spend studying for school. I tend to be very watchful with pets and do not like to let animals out without some sort of lead unless your yard is fenced in. I will always prioritize safety over anything else to ensure a safe and positive experience for all parties involved. I also ask that I be either provided an emergency contact and/or a preferred veterinary caretaker in case (god forbid) an emergency does come up. I also ask that if a pet is receiving medications, there are clear directions with clear times to administer medications.

About: Hi thanks for considering me for the care of your tiny baby! I’ve been pet sitting full time in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area (I am now in Gainesville, FL) for over 4 years now but in that time I’ve met over a dozen new families! It feels crazy that I've made lifelong connections with something that was just supposed to be part time. (If you can’t tell I LOVE my job and enjoying connecting and caring for every new family.🥰 ) I took about a year off, only pet sitting for my regulars but now that I'm settled into Gainesville I'm opening my schedule for new clients! As much as I love cuddling and playing trust is everything and if you have an especially anxious pup or just mistrusting, I can give them the space they need and show them they can trust this new person in their house by taking things at their speed. I'm in no rush. Will work with your schedule. I’m great for last minute plans so you don’t have to worry about where your baby is going or if they’ll get enough loving while you’re away. :) I like to live an active lifestyle walking at the beach or finding a new trail. As far as a daily routine I like to adapt to whatever the dog or cat's schedule is but at the end of the night love ending up on the couch cuddling watching tv! Since I do this full time my schedule is according to my client's pretty simple. On my days off though I still like to keep a routine sleeping until my cat cries for wet food, stretching, and journaling every single morning. Throughout the week I do strength training and am taking an online bookkeeping class. Safety for me and you pet is always going to be number one over everything. If a dog or cat feels unsafe, things can only go down from there. The key is to give a fearful or uncomfortable pet SPACE and let them come to me.
