“Laura is the best! She's communicative with us, super kind and knows what she's doing! Our cats love her even our usually shy black cat gets excited to see her. Highly recommend!”

“Ashley did a wonderful job watching my two fur babies! I loved receiving the update cards and photos and it gave me peace of mind to know someone as responsible and kind as Ashley was watching out for them in the comfort of their own home. Will definitely be calling again!”

About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Trusting me to come into your home is a big deal, and I would never want to jeopardize your peace of mind.
“I wish I could give Jonathan 10 stars instead of 5. As a professional dog trainer and boarding business owner, I’m extremely particular about who I trust with my own animals. My dogs are elderly and have specific needs, so finding someone dependable is incredibly important. Jonathan exceeded every expectation. Not only did he take excellent care of my dogs, but his communication was outstanding. He responded to messages quickly, kept me updated, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. He followed instructions perfectly, was reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely cared about my pets’ well-being. What impressed me most is that Jonathan truly loves animals. It’s obvious in the way he interacts with them and the level of care he provides. Honestly, he’s so good at what he does that I find myself wishing I could hire him as part of my own team. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, trustworthy, and exceptional with animals, I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough. He is absolutely fantastic.”

“Courtney went above and beyond!! She was so attentive to my cats and was following up with me every day and made me feel so safe leaving them in her hands! She was just so beyond sweet will rebook with her again!”

“Victoria has been a tremendous drop-in sitter for our dog, Hunter. Every visit gives us real peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and reliable hands. She consistently checks his food and water, makes sure he’s comfortable, and takes the time to play with him so he feels loved while we’re away. We truly appreciate her communication, and the genuine care she shows. Highly recommend Victoria to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!”

“Was my first time getting a pet sitter, and I was very nervous because my dog (husky) is very reactive and protective. I was more than relieved to see how well Richard was able to keep my dog calm. I was also surprised how well he kept me updated on how the visits went. I received multiple texts and pictures throughout the day on my dog's status. The communication was excellent, and, more importantly, my dog was very well taken care of. I could not of asked for better care!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6 years old when we got our family Doberman. Since then we have had several dogs and now I have a miniature dachshund named Maggie! I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes. I’m in nursing school so I will have time outside of class to care for your pet! I generally do not have evening plans so I can accommodate your pet in the evenings and afternoons. I have a clean home with adequate space and live in an apartment community with paved sidewalks. I have extra blankets, food bowls, and live near several parks as well.
“Samantha was prompt with attention to detail. She more than willingly scheduled a meet and greet with my pup who is leery of meeting new people. She took down instructions during the meet and greet. On the day of the visit, she arrived right on time. She made sure to give the dogs their medicines and if unable to do due to behaviors she made sure to communicate that. The house was locked back up and she made sure the gate was closed when she left. The girls were in good hands and I was very pleased with her services. I would definitely use again!”

About: Aloha, I'm Anna Lyra 😊 I've connected deeply with animals my whole life, and began caring for them around age 11. I grew up with dogs and cats, and have a great love for all creatures. Cats are my specialty, though my skills are also effective with dogs and all kinds of other animals. I am a Cat Whisperer with extensive knowledge and experience. My cats remain at optimal health due to my physical and energetic care of them. I practice Reiki (energy healing) that is very effective with animals. For now, I'm offering my Reiki treatments for free as I am new to Rover (with purchase of Day Visits, House Sitting, or Dog Walking). I also have experience with animal hospice care, during which the Reiki treatments are especially supportive. Here's a review of my care for a 21+ year old cat who was nearing the end of her life: "You have a gift, and Princess and I are blessed to be on the receiving end of your gift. Yes, you’re a kitty-sitter, and yes you helped with her urinating outside of the box, but what you’re offering is much much much deeper than that. I think you have a calling for this, well, I don’t “think” - I know you have a calling for this, and I am just so grateful that we found you and so grateful to be on the receiving end of your gift.” -Arthur, February 2026 So I've been doing animal care for a long time with shining 5 star reviews, I'm just new to Rover ✨ I'm self-employed with a flexible schedule. I can work with you to sculpt the ideal care that your pet(s) needs. Reach out to discuss possibilities! 🦮🐈🦜🐇🐠🐍🐎🐁🐐🐓🐄🦆🦎🐑🐖🫏 My pets and my client's pets are a top priority and I take it very seriously. My own cats benefit from the highest quality food, attention, and environment. I am highly attuned to their needs & emotions, providing gentle focused care with therapeutic touch & massage. While I specialize in Cat Whispering, my care for all animals goes above and beyond! I treat others as I want to be treated: with honesty, safety, and high quality care wrapped in positive & loving energy 💟

About: I've cared for cats and dogs for years. I came from an animal-loving family, we got our first dog when I was 7, and now at home I have two cats and one dog of my own, so I understand how much routine and a calm, familiar presence matter to pets while their owner is away. I also consistently take care of my brother and sister-in-law's eight cats whenever they're on vacation, so multi-cat households and individual routines are second nature to me. Beyond my own household, I also volunteer with cat rescues. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and treat every cat's home and routine with the same care I give my own. I'm currently working from home, and my work is mostly project based, so I'll have plenty of time to pop in and check on your pets. I offer drop-in visits on weekends and weekdays. I'm happy to work around your pet's usual routine — feeding times, play times, or medication schedules. I can also do multiple visits a day if your pet needs more frequent check-ins. For drop-in visits, I'll come to your home to care for your pet in their own familiar environment. I have experience with dogs and cats, including regular care of my own pets and cat-sitting for family. I'm attentive to safety details like secure doors and gates, and I always follow any specific instructions you leave for feeding, medication, or house rules.
About: I have had pets my entire life and have always had an active role in taking care of them. From watching my family dogs while my parents are away to taking care of friends' and family friends' pets, to having my own fur baby, I love loving on them and taking care of the ones that bring us joy! I am a college student and work 3 days a week, so my availability is variable but I am very open. Dropping in to say hello or taking your baby on a walk will fit right in for me! Communication is key. Keeping in touch is the most important part when taking care of your fur baby so I can know exactly what they need! Plus you'll get some cute pics of them while I'm at it :)

I always aim to make pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. About: ◾️ When people ask if I'm a dog or a cat person, I say, "I'm an animal person!" I have a lifelong passion to care for nature and animals, whether cats, dogs, or other critter friends! I grew up with several pets who were part of the family, including a dog and four cats. Currently, I have a crested gecko named Savoofy 🦎 and a mixed Jack Russell dog named Taro 🐶 , whom I adore. I'm also looking for a cat to adopt to join the crew soon! 🐈 ◾️ For many years now, I have been pet-sitting for family and friends. Last year I started pet-sitting professionally, and I have loved getting to meet so many incredible pets and spending time with them 😄 ◾️ I have had the joy of caring for a variety of pets of all ages, breeds, medication needs, and energy levels ⚡️, ranging from young to old, from chihuahuas to mastiffs to mixed dogs, from domestic shorthair cats to Maine Coons, and also including reptiles, birds, and fish. I truly look forward to every walk or jog, every drop-in, every moment with the pets. ◾️Outside of pet-sitting, I love hiking, photography, and art (often with my pup by my side! 📷🌳). Can't wait to meet your furbaby! 💕 ◾️ I am a full-time pet-sitter with flexible booking times, so I can accommodate a variety of times to best maintain your pet's/pets' routines! 🗓 ◾️ In-home pet care can work best for many pets, since they are in their most comfortable environment. I am happy to help care for your pet/pets in your home in the best way possible, depending on their needs and personality. I have fun taking dogs for short walks or for longer adventures 🌎, at a slow pace or jogging. I also always enjoy playing with dogs or cats 🎉, or just hanging out with them and checking on them if they're in a more chill mood. I walk dogs rain or shine and will dry their fur afterwards (as long as you and your pup are comfortable with the rain!) I always love getting to see multiple animals at once, and other cute critters like birds, rodents, reptiles, and fish are always welcome too! I am experienced in administering a variety of medications as well. ◾️ Boarding pets in someone else's home can be a great option as well in some cases. I am unable to offer boarding at this time since I live in a small apartment, but my dream is to board all the animals once I have a house with a backyard! 🏡

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
