“Jacque is reliable, flexible with our schedule, and a great communicator. Having Jacque as part of Yeti’s support team is such a comfort and Yeti isn’t stressed waiting for me to come home at the end of the workday.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all shapes and sizes since I was a little girl growing up on my family farm. From horses and goats to chickens, dogs, cats, lizards—and even the occasional exotic pet—I’ve had hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals. My passion for animal care runs deep, and I bring that same level of dedication and love to every pet I meet. I look forward to connecting with you and learning how I can help care for your furry, feathered, or scaly family member! I’m currently open to all available positions, including overnight stays. After being laid off from my office job of six years a few months ago, I’ve shifted my focus to something I truly enjoy—caring for homes and pets. Since then, I’ve been house sitting for close friends and family, and have recently begun building a local client base for house sitting and weekday drop-in visits. I'm reliable, attentive, and committed to providing the same level of care I would want for my own home and pets. Welcome to a home where pets are treated like royalty! I provide loving, attentive care for both dogs and cats in a safe, happy environment. Dogs enjoy plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and exciting trips to the dog park. Cats are equally spoiled with toys, cozy spots to lounge, and all the affection they crave. Whether they have paws or whiskers, every pet in my care gets treated like family!

“Selena has walked our very active dog, a couple of times and has been really responsive! Our dog can be a bit skittish of new folks and she handled his behavior with stability and great care. She’s always super responsive with messaging and booking which is a huge help when planning your weekly schedule. Will definitely be booking Selena in the future.”

“Shannon was fabulous! She took great care of my Lab Zeke. She took him for long walks, kept the house clean, and was very communicative. I would trust her with keys to my house any time. I will definitely use her again if necessary. Shannon is also a really kind, friendly, nice person (and responsible)! —Ari”

About: What sets me apart? I bring years of hands-on experience with all ages and breeds, plus specialized care for seniors and energetic pups alike. Every walk is about trust, safety, and joy. With school out for the summer, I’m dedicating my time and heart to pet care. As a full-time paraprofessional during the year, I understand responsibility, patience, and routine—qualities I bring to every walk and visit. During my break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of energy to give your dog the attention and consistency they deserve. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I’d expect for my own. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—mealtimes, walks, play, and quiet time—to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I clean up after them, respect your space, and send regular updates so you feel confident while you’re away. If I'm caring for pets in my own home, they get a safe, calm environment, lots of attention, and plenty of outdoor time. I make sure every dog feels relaxed, stimulated, and loved.

About: In high school I worked for a company called Camp Bow-Wow. This was essentially a summer camp for pups! I worked there for 3 years until I graduated and got accepted to URI. While at URI I joined a club that allowed me to walk dogs around campus and make new connections. It also gave me the opportunity to learn more about taking care of dogs. Through this club I was able to get certified to train seeing eye dogs for the blind. Now I am getting my Master’s degree and still love dogs!! I am working Full-Time however, I work in a public school. My hours on a typical day are 9am until 3pm, but this varies! This leaves me with plenty of time in the afternoon to help you get the care you need for your pets! I am very detail oriented and take instructions left for me very seriously. For others that I have dog sat I make sure to walk and feed them at the correct times in order to keep the pets in their normal routine. This helps the pets feel less anxious and stressed leading to happier companions! I also love to play with animals which gives them the mental stimulation they need and wears them out at the end of the day keeping them calmer and happier!

About: Growing up, I was always around animals with a special interest in horses and dogs. I have three dogs, I love training and going on adventures with. I have a good understanding of dog body language. I want to share my passion and gain experience working with dogs. Let me know if there are any request you have for me to work on with your fur baby during our adventures. I’m available for dog walking services. I am working full-time Monday through Friday. Once I have enough clients I will take more days off from the office. I am trying to get more experience working with dogs, in the future I will be offering training services. I am looking forward to meeting your dog! I am a big advocate for fulfilling your dog, both physically and mentally. I love watching dogs be dogs. I like using the world as a dog‘s playground to help build confidence and keep things interesting.

About: I’ve always be driven more towards animals, rather than people. I have 2 African mastiffs of my very own! And my family dog, Remington! She is a Rottweiler. I’d love to spend more of my time caring for other peoples pets and suiting their needs while also being a good suite for their parents! In hopes of building a clientele large enough to make this a full time success! I appreciate you considering me, as your pets, sitter/ walker! I have worked in dog daycare facility for 2+ years providing daily care. I gravitate towards shy/ timid dogs who need time to come around. I have some experience with senior dogs, walking dogs (leash trained is preferred). Administering medications, feeding instructions, etc. I am confident in providing day to day care and routine that you & your pet need. As of right now I have full availability (aside from what I have blocked off here on Rover.) Recently due to high anxiety I’ve had to resign from work. So I’ve spent my time caring for my own pets and others pets morning noon and night. I like to make homemade snacks for the pups, enrichment activities, fun outside (weather permitting), walks (as long as they are good on leash❗️), car rides for pup cups! I can administer medications if necessary. I prefer over-nights to be no longer than 1 week. I do crate my Rottweiler, she has found her crate to be more of her safe space where she will take her treats and toys and hang out just because she wants to. With that being said I am familiar with crate training if that’s one of your pets necessities. We stick to a very structured routine. All of my pets get fed twice a day. AM & PM, 2 cups each. With snacks in between. I make lots of homemade snacks as well as trying to stick to all natural! All of them are up to date on all vaccines, flea & tick treatment as well.

About: I have always had neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they are unable to. I always seek out any opportunity to meet new furry friends, such as volunteering at the local humane society and joining the Rover community. I am out of college for the summer, so my days are mostly available. I do have an obligation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays that takes up the morning and afternoon of those days. I do not have a fenced in yard, but the yard that I do have is a very open area that can be roamed around, on-leash of course. I have a furry friend of my own that would love to keep your fur baby company. I don’t mind accommodating to the individual needs of your fur baby, such as following a specific diet, crating them, etc. I can promise you that I’d treat your fur baby as if it was my own!

About: All my life I have cared for many different kinds of dogs. There was never a time when my family didn’t have atleast 3 dogs! I currently live on a farm with goats, bunnies, dogs and cats! I always make it a priority to walk my dogs as much as I can. I am very patient with my dogs and try my best to keep them trained while also having fun! I do currently have another job that I work mainly Thursdays through Saturdays but sometimes that changes. I’m fully free Sundays through Wednesdays at the moment! And I can walk dogs or do drop ins early in the mornings Thursday through Saturday. I have a fenced in play area and the dogs would stay at my house that doesn’t have the dogs or any animals so there is no need to worry about animals not getting along!

“To whom it may concern, I am pleased to recommend Ashley for any position or opportunity involving the care of animals. Ashley has worked with my 4 Labrador retrievers and has consistently demonstrated a deep love for dogs and animals in general. She is incredibly attentive to their needs, always ensuring they are well cared for, mentally stimulated, and happy. Ashley goes above and beyond by offering engaging activities and even organizing planned playdates, which my dogs have thoroughly enjoyed. What stands out most about Ashley is her flexibility and reliability. She has always been willing to adjust to the needs of our busy schedule, often stepping in at a moments notice without hesitation. She follows directions either ease and is also capable of making thoughtful, independent decisions that prioritize the well-being of both our family and our dogs.
