“Suzanne and her family were absolutely wonderful with Archie. He suffers from separation anxiety when first meeting new people but Suzanne made sure he felt at home in no time. About: Mason and I have both had cats as kids. Between the two of us, we have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends as well as a few freelance clients, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. From the time I was born, there has never been a time where there wasn't a cat in my house. About: My first pet I’ve ever had was a cat. Her name was Mandy. My parents got her as a kitten around the same time I was born. She was a beautiful tortoise shell who had such a loving but spunky personality. She was what made my love for cats grow stronger. Since 2015. My family and I began fostering litters of cats as well as dogs. Some of the litters of kittens we fostered were orphaned, so we had to bottle feed them until they were old enough to eat normal food. I like to think I have a personality similar to a cat, which is why I bond with cats so much!

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats, and litters of puppies and kittens since I was nine years old. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. Even during the years, my family and I fostered these animals, I’ve had multiple neighbors at a time rely on me to visit and walk their dogs while they’re at work. That is how I got my first job at 11 years old. I’m out of school for the summer, so I am free practically whenever your pups need me! I can drop in/walk daily or weekly, whatever works for you! With my school and work schedule and the living situation I’m in, I don’t currently offer boarding services, but that may change in the future!

About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. I am a school teacher, so during this summer season, I have flexible availability to care for your loved ones whether it is for a nice day hike or at night for cuddles and protection! I live in an apartment right across from a park with empty fields and woodland trails. I love walking and would be more than happy to help you while gaining a trail partner in the process! And walks aside, we know all pets need a little bit of love, play, and a responsible caretaker, of which I'd be happy to provide!

Christina sent me so many pictures and updates of Remy having the best time playing in their amazing back yard, going on multiple (!!!) hikes, and snuggling with their sweet boy Frankie. “Suzanne and her family were absolutely wonderful with Archie. He suffers from separation anxiety when first meeting new people but Suzanne made sure he felt at home in no time. He got a lot of play time and car rides too! Suzanne sent us photos and provided great updates. When we arrived to collect him he was so happy and relaxed and ran back to her kids to say goodby a couple of times. He was a happy dog and I know he will love to go back. Her location is perfect for our random trips to Uncasville and Rhode Island, and Suzanne will be our "go-to first choice for sitter for any future trips!”
