We will definitely use Karen again as Gracie was so comfortable with her and her fur babies. We loved her!!”

About: Mason and I have both had cats as kids. Between the two of us, we have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends as well as a few freelance clients, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. From the time I was born, there has never been a time where there wasn't a cat in my house. I love cats so much! I'm often torn between being a cat or a dog person, but find that the kitties usually have my heart. Mason and I both have experience with cats old and young, I have had new born baby kittens in my house as well as cats in their late teens. We have no issues when it comes to cleaning litter boxes and I know how to administer oral medications, though I know some cats can be very particular when it comes to any sort of handling at times 😂. We both love animals and have extensive experience with a variety of pets and their personalities and would love to get to know yours! As pet parents ourselves, we know it can be difficult, and sometimes scary leaving them with other people for a time, but you can trust that Mason and I will provide thorough, loving care for your kittie(s)!

“Emily was amazing!! She made time to meet us and the kitties prior to watching them. She has a very calming presence and was diligent in taking care of our babies, even meeting their medical needs. I'm so happy I put my trust in her. We will absolutely use Emily again, and we recommend her highly!”

About: My first pet I’ve ever had was a cat. Her name was Mandy. My parents got her as a kitten around the same time I was born. She was a beautiful tortoise shell who had such a loving but spunky personality. She was what made my love for cats grow stronger. Since 2015. My family and I began fostering litters of cats as well as dogs. Some of the litters of kittens we fostered were orphaned, so we had to bottle feed them until they were old enough to eat normal food. I like to think I have a personality similar to a cat, which is why I bond with cats so much!

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for as long as I can remember. As someone who loves cats, my mother always taught me tips, tricks, and how to care for cats. I have experience administering medications, cleaning litter boxes (too many to count), and forming my care to their personalities. Caring for animals is rewarding for me because I enjoy creating a safe, calm environment to make them feel comfortable while owner is away.

“Riley did a great job looking after our senior cat Felix. This is our first time using Riley since we just moved to this area a few months ago and we definitely plan on using home again! Thanks, Riley!”

“Audrey is amazing! She was willing to add another day last minute and took great care of our three fur babies. When we travel again, she'll be the one we go to... highly recommended!”

“Tessa cared for our senior goldendoodle, Jade, like she was her own. She sent amazing pictures and gave us constant reassurance of Jade's well-being. I would recommend Tessa to anyone seeking the very best care for their pet. She's a gem!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and am currently living with a wonderful pup, Sherlock, who is an incredible, calm, and friendly 50lb hound-mix. Given my experience living and caring for dogs, many friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with walking their dogs or pet-sitting their houses, and it's something I quite enjoy. I am a school teacher, so during this summer season, I have flexible availability to care for your loved ones whether it is for a nice day hike or at night for cuddles and protection! I live in an apartment right across from a park with empty fields and woodland trails. I love walking and would be more than happy to help you while gaining a trail partner in the process! And walks aside, we know all pets need a little bit of love, play, and a responsible caretaker, of which I'd be happy to provide!
“Received regular updates and great pictures of my boy, as well as detailed information about any tasks performed (litter box cleaning, refilling water fountain, etc). She is such a sweet lady, and Remus loves her.”

“Rachel was phenomenal! She was flexible, patient, and attentive from start to finish. She took care of my cat like her own and took the time to make sure she was happy. Rachel even sat with my cat the entire first day of her visit to help her adjust. She sent daily updates (with pictures!) and even gave me polaroids of my cat! I have started recommending Rover to my friends because of her, and will definitely be using her as my go-to sitter from now on. Thank you so much Rachel!”

About: I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats needing extra patience and attention. My family has fostered cats, and I helped care for them while they adjusted and prepared for adoption into new homes. I understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level, so I adapt to their needs. I’m comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, administering medication, and making sure cats feel safe and stress free in their home.
“Holly was amazing! With frozen snow and a picky dog Holly broke through ice and helped provide my dog with the grass she wanted to go potty. She really went above and beyond to take care of my dog! We will be using Holly again in the future. A++”

“Sarah was great with communication and sending pictures! My cats are shy so she didn’t get a chance to play with them but I was happy knowing I could trust Sarah to take care of their basic needs while I was away!”
“Alison is just the sweetest and my pups love her!!! You can tell she is a true animal lover and I feel so much better leaving my furry kids knowing that she will be there to take care of them when I’m at work! I highly recommend her!!”

About: I have always had neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they are unable to. I always seek out any opportunity to meet new furry friends, such as volunteering at the local humane society and joining the Rover community. I am out of college for the summer, so my days are mostly available. I do have an obligation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays that takes up the morning and afternoon of those days. I do not have a fenced in yard, but the yard that I do have is a very open area that can be roamed around, on-leash of course. I have a furry friend of my own that would love to keep your fur baby company. I don’t mind accommodating to the individual needs of your fur baby, such as following a specific diet, crating them, etc. I can promise you that I’d treat your fur baby as if it was my own!

About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. My dogs are my best friends. I always show love and respect towards them. I also understand how a dog's life can be boring sometimes. Giving them a new environment to sniff out creates a happy and exhausted pup. I try to take my older dog on a new walk/hike every week to give them an adventure and something to look forward to. I'm hoping to provide the same for your dogs. I am also a runner, so I wouldn't mind running alongside your dog. Walking/hiking/running, whatever you prefer.

About: Hi! I have always had a dog for a pet from birth to present where I have my own dog, Max! I previously worked at the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). That was my favorite job! I would take the dogs out for their morning walks and bathroom breaks, feed them and whenever I had down time I would play with them. I would complete my day by taking them on their evening walks and feeding them their dinner. It is the most rewarding feeling to care for a dog. I do work a full time job Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm and work from home on Fridays so please take that into consideration when booking a stay with me! :) Thanks for visiting my page!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of different breeds since I was 15. I have experience in feeding, walking, playtime, and anything that helps keep them in their normal routine. Neighbors, family members, and friends have trusted me with their fur babies. I even still care for my neighbors sweet dog, Molly, from time to time when they are away. Caring for animals is very rewarding for me because I love seeing how quickly they react to patience and kindness. It feels meaningful to know that I’m improving their day-to-day comfort and happiness while their owner is away. I’m currently in college (off for the summer) so I’m available whenever you need me to care for your fur babies. Im available for walks any time and will gladly make home visits when needed. I understand that safety is one of the most important factors in caring for animals. I will always respect a client’s home and only do what is instructed of me. At my home, I have a large fenced in backyard my own dog loves!

About: My name is Grace, and I am 25 years old. I have owned and cared for pets my whole life including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, fish, and chickens. I currently work at a veterinary hospital and have extensive animal handling experience, along with administering oral, topical, and subcutaneous medications. I am very active and am willing to run or walk with dogs frequently, and love to play with cats. I have had many dog and cat sitting clients over the years. I can be trusted to successfully care for your animals while you are away, including on time feedings, walks, and play time. You can trust that your pet will be in great hands. I currently work per-diem with a flexible schedule, so with some notice, I can choose to not work in order to prioritize your pets. I have pets of my own and need to be relatively close to home so care for my own pets daily, but can otherwise devote most of the day to your pets if I cam not working. I like to let animals come to me so they feel safe and can modify my behavior based on theirs. I enjoy meeting dogs and cats where they are at so they will feel comfortable with a new person. I am hyper aware of animal health and pay close attention to how animals are acting so I can notify owners of any issues I see.

Zoe has a fenced back yard and Samara was free to run unleashed and enjoying zoomies. Zoe kept me updated with photos throughout the stay. I felt so grateful for Zoe's outstanding and kind care. I will definitely trust her again.”

“Anne was amazing! So attentive and took in mind my dogs usual routine- and took extra great care of her! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Sharon is fantastic!! My dog is 15 1/2 and very particular with people. She showed so much patience, kindness and sent me lots of updates. Highly recommend!”

“Christina was great! She was super responsive, sent regular updates, and has an awesome indoor and outdoor setup for dogs. She followed all care instructions and clearly loves and takes great care of dogs. Would definitely book with her again! 🐾”

“We are so grateful to have found the absolute best dog sitter! Our two golden girls stay with Suzanne every single time we travel and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing they are in such loving hands! She and her kids are so awesome with them — lots of love, attention, and playtime. I always look forward to the daily updates and pics! It’s such a relief knowing our girls are not just being watched, but genuinely cared for like family. They’re always happy and well-adjusted when we pick them up. Can’t recommend her enough!”
“Django had a great time staying with Ashley and her family, which included 2 new doggie friends! She was very responsive with any questions we had, and provided us with daily photos of his activities. We would definitely have Django stay there again, and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for care for their dog! Thank you, Ashley!”

“Anely was so sweet and very accommodating even at the very last minute! Our sitter canceled on us with than a week and I am so glad that I found Anely! My dog is on multiple medications and is extremely spoiled and Anely was so great with handling it all. She sent pics every single day I was away (every morning, afternoon and night). She did a great job helping me feel relaxed about leaving my baby.”

“Kyla took such great care of our dog, Zoey, while my family went on vacation. I would not hesitate to leave Zoey with Kyla again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Elizabeth took great care of my dog Hazel and sent a lot of pictures and updates. She also took her on nice walks and Hazel had plenty of outside time. She administered Hazel's medication each day as well. Overall, Elizabeth did a great job with my dog.”
