About: I don't have any professional experience but I grew up with dogs since I was born. I don't have my own pets so I have a lot of time to give yours. I am currently between jobs so I am looking for some income and have an open schedule. I also don't have any pets so I can focus on yours! I will respect your home and pets safety when I visit. About: I bring a teacher’s touch to caring for your pup! As a former elementary school teacher, I’ve got loads of experience in behavior management, patience, and creative problem-solving. Whether it’s helping a shy pet feel safe or channeling a high-energy pup’s zoomies into a fun game, I know how to keep things running smoothly (and joyfully!). I’m also a bit of a pet-training enthusiast. I’ve even taught my cats to use pet doors and hang out with me unleashed while I garden—basically, I’ve turned them into honorary dogs! They’re super social and cuddly because I believe every animal deserves love, enrichment, and positive interactions. I absolutely LOVE dogs, but we're currently at our max pet capacity. So, I pour my animal affection into my kitties and helping others by volunteering at the DuPage animal shelter, where I get to meet all kinds of amazing furry friends. I've also recently taken on raising and releasing monarchs in an effort to restore the dwindling population. Our garden is a designated Monarch Way Station. I've tagged and released hundreds of monarch butterflies over the last 3 summers. In short, I combine my teaching skills, training know-how, and pure love for animals to give pets—and their people—a fun, safe, and worry-free experience! I am an adjunct instructor. My classes don't reume until September 22nd, so right now, I am available every day. After that, I only will only teach two classes, so I'll have quite a flexible schedule to sit for animals with availability every afternoon and 3 full days a week. I am highly skilled at reading animal body language. The most important thing in keeping animals safe and calm is to determine how they're feeling in order to provide what they need--whether it's space, food, play or something more serious like medical attention. I make sure every animal has a corner of his/her own to take time needed privacy or R&R. I make sure animals in my care have plenty of opportunities to play, are stimulated, cuddled (if that's what they like), fed a healthy diet and feel like a part of the family.

“Amazing communication from start to finish. Very reliable and Winnie can’t wait to see her new friends again :)”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and have a love for every breed. Growing up, my family had a Border Collie, two Lab/Cattle Dog mixes, and a Beagle/Jack Russell mix, all whom I miss dearly. In my profile photo is my dog Tilly, a German Shepherd and my best friend. She’s high-energy, cuddly, and LOVES to eat cheese. I have also fostered dogs and puppies, and have cat-sat for my neighbors since I was a kid. I’ve experienced the heart-wrenching loss of the passing of my family dogs over the years, but I’ve also enjoyed the joys of getting a puppy. Thus, I know how to train puppies, help break them of bad habits such as (e.g., chewing on furniture, potty training), and I’ve learned tricks for medicating stubborn senior dogs who won’t take their pills. As for myself, I am a second-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student seeking some financial stability. I would love the opportunity to walk and care for your pet, whom I know I will love. As a doctoral student, I have some time between my classes, or before and after classes. My evenings are usually open the most. My weekends are tend to be open and can be flexible, with an exception of a few various dates (e.g., weddings, vacations, etc). At this time, I am not available to have pets stay at my home. However, for regular clients and dogs with whom I am familiar (and vice versa), I am open to the possibility. I assure you that I will prioritize the safety of your pets and property while caring for them. I am an open communicator, honest, and respectful, and my primary goal is to enjoy quality time with your pet.

“Vivian has been our dog walker for the past couple months and has been getting along well with our dog Maxx. She communicates well and responds promptly. Maxx seems to really enjoy his walks with her by the cute pictures we get from the walk. My dog Maxx can easily be scared and doesn't always like to stay out long, but Maxx seems very comfortable with Vivian since he walks around a lot and stays out long. You can tell she works well with dogs especially with her experience taking care of her own dogs. I love the rover cards we get and will definitely use Vivian again in the future. I highly recommend if you need a dog walker!”

“It’s our first time having someone walk our 5 months old puppy, and Nicole was super nice, communicative and respectful to our puppy ( we had very bad experience with the dog care in Schaumburg). Nicole was above and beyond and our puppy was very happy with her, that’s everything we wanted.”

“Emma was great with my quirky little dogs.”

About: Hi! I’ve been helping take care of dogs my entire life. I raised my own dogs since they were puppies all the way up until they went over the rainbow bridge at the ages at 15. I am a certified dog groomer and have worked for an animal hospital as well. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years and have experience with all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I know how to administer medication and monitor for health issues. I like to be communicative with owners during my visits including sending photos of their pets throughout the day. I like to send the owners a summary of my visit at the end of my stay. I have open availability and like to make accommodations as much and as easy as possible for owners. Feel free to contact me at anytime! I like to be very attentive in all aspects of a dog’s life. I like to make sure all dietary requirements are met. Also if necessary all medications or supplements are given correctly.

“Kassandra is marvelous! She's friendly, kind, and very reliable. My dogs adore her! She's been a great help while I've been recovering from surgery; her dog walking has made Birdie and Gracie so much happier and calmer. I would use her services again in a minute!”

About: I have 3 years of dog experience working in a dog daycare & pet sitting/walking for clients! I have a German Shepherd/Pit since he was 6 weeks old! Very experienced with dogs all ages. I worked with a senior dog and adapted to his very specific needs! I have a free schedule throughout the week & I’m able to travel to clients homes, I’m super reliable! I’m available for overnight stays as well! I follow every requests clients have for their pet! Get the dogs energy out so they can fall right to sleep and recharge for another fun day! About: Growing up, I had two small dogs of my own who have moved on to puppy heaven. To fill the gap in my heart, I began watching my neighbors and cousins dogs both big and small. I have experience with shitzhus, chihuahuas, pitbulls, labs, akitas, dobermans, and more. I believe that dog behaviors are a product of their environment, I am dedicated to making your furbaby feel comfortable and relaxed while I take care of them. Since I don’t have a dog of my own quite yet, I have adopted three amazing cats! My three furbabies are my entire life. I am a self-proclaimed cat mind reader and can tell when your kitty wants to play or wants there own personal space. Additionally, I can read cat behaviors well as I identified a disease in my own cat - FIP. I cured my cat by daily injecting it with medication subcutaneously. I am grateful everyday he is healthy, happy, and alive. I would be comfortable administering medication to your furbaby, as I know how stressful it can be leaving them alone. I would love to get to know and love your kitties! Additionally, last but not least, I am a fish lover! I am a freshwater aquarium keeper and have experience maintaining 40+gallon tanks with live plants. I would be happy to take care of, feed, and even clean your fish tanks. I currently work remotely Monday-Friday from 9-5PM. I am available before or after, on weekends, or even throughout the days on my lunch breaks. I am flexible throughout the day. I treat my clients home’s as I would want someone to treat mine. I also understand that their pet is an equal homeowner and may take some time to adjust to me! I respect pets boundaries and can read their behaviors well so that they are the most comfortable and happy.

About: I grew up in a family of animal lovers—cats, dogs, birds, even pet cows, turtles, chickens, hermit crabs, and more! Pets have always been family to us, and they were deeply loved and cared for. I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and still do occasional pet sitting. Now, I’m excited to offer my care through Rover! I’ll go any length to keep your pets happy—whether that means giving baths, going on long walks, or showering them with love and plenty of pets. I’d love to treat your pets like the family they are—because they deserve the very best. I’m a part-time college student who also works and babysits, so pet sitting is the perfect flexible gig for me! My schedule changes week to week, but I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening visits most days, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. I can do drop-ins, walks, feedings, baths, playtime, and give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. Weekends and some overnights are also available with notice—just reach out, and I’ll do my best to fit your needs! When caring for your pet, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I’ll stick to their routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding at specific times, going for walks, cleaning up after them, or just giving them extra cuddles and playtime. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give your pet not just care, but genuine companionship and kindness every visit.
