Hope sent plenty of pics, was an active communicator, and I came back to a tidy home and a happy happy dog.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover and the go-to sitter in my friend group. I’ve cared for pups ranging from playful puppies under a year old to well-mannered seniors. Whether it’s a high-energy breed or a more chill companion, I’ve got it covered. I work remotely from home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and lots of walks throughout the day. I’m flexible on stay duration—anything from a single day to a few weeks works for me! I’ve cared for my friend’s 50lb poodle for two months while they were abroad, and I also watch my parents’ two 15lb poodles for extended stays when they are out of town. I understand how important it is to follow each pup’s routine and respect your specific rules and boundaries. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. Dogs and puppies must be potty trained. I work fully remote and have the flexibility to go on frequent walks, potty breaks and play time! I am usually at home during the week (will step out 1-2 hours each day for workouts or errands), and my weekend plans vary and can be flexible based on your dogs needs. I live in a 1-bed apartment with a covered balcony and fake grass. I can easily crate / set up a pen area if needed. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed for snuggles!

“Molly did a great job taking care of our dogs while we were out of town. She went above and beyond and was very communicative and responsible. She made us feel our pets were safe in her care.”

We felt so relaxed and comfortable on our trip knowing they were giving our dog all the love and care we normally would. They also took great care of our house and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them!”

“Always a great experience with April! Our dogs love her and have no issues adjusting to having her in the home while we’re gone. So nice to be able to go on a trip without being worried about their safety and happiness, because April always sends photos and is communicative! Appreciate the thorough love she gives our senior pups and the care she keeps in our home while we’re out!”

“It was great to have Chelsea here with our pets. We have a cat and a great big dog. Our dog is very territorial and does not like new people in the house. Chelsea was willing to come to visit twice before her stay to help acclimate him. We were gone for a week and it went really well. She checked in and sent us pictures every day and left the house looking great. Highly recommend!”

“Paul took great care of my dog while I was away for a week! He was great with maintaining her routine, and he took great care to ask questions and find out my dog’s needs. Cannot recommend Paul enough—my girl was definitely sad to seen him leave!”

About: I have 10+ years of experience with dogs, including owning a rescue and volunteering with local shelters. I walk 10k steps daily, so your pup will get great exercise, fresh air, and fun. I’m patient, loving, and great with seniors, shy, and energetic dogs—but I’m not the right fit for aggressive pups. I also have been taking care my neighbors puppies since last month and can provide references if needed! What you will get with me: 1) end of day doggy day report 2) pictures and videos of your dog’s day 3) peace of mind - if prefer, I can give you hourly update through whatever means of communicating to make sure your dog is getting the best care under me I work remotely on an East Coast schedule, which gives me flexibility during the weekday mornings, lunch hours, and afternoons. Pet care fits in naturally with my daily routine, especially since I aim for 10k steps a day. I love starting or breaking up my workday with dog walks or check-ins—it’s a win for me and the pups! Also I can watch your dog during the day :) In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I give them plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise—especially walks to get their energy out. I always respect your space, follow care instructions closely, and send regular updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

West Los Angeles pet parents share their Rover experiences
Paul was a fantastic dogsitter the week he took care of my definitely-a-handful dog Athena. Athena take medication three times a day for epilepsy and requires a muzzle on walks and she therefore comes with a long list of instructions and contingency plans in case of seizures. Paul proved very caring, attentive, and detail-oriented for the entire week, plus Athena was clearly in love with him by the time I came home. Additionally he was always quickly responsive via in-app texts, which included needing to coordinate with my vet to respond to some allergic reactions & skin irritation that week. I would 100% rebook Paul for housesitting or any other services.

Ellyot was great! She took care of our 2 year old bernadoodle and our 19(!) year old kitty for a week. She is super organized, kind, responsive and loving! She sent daily photos of both pets. She also reached out with questions when they arose. She’s completely trustworthy, super neat and our pets loved her right away after the meet and greet. We will definitely use her again and again!

Meng was an absolutely amazing in-home dog sitter. We will definitely be booking her again. She followed our instructions carefully, took really good care of our dogs, took really good care of our home, and was overall incredibly responsible and great with our dogs.

We did a meet & greet during which Natalie asked thoughtful questions about my cat Rocky. She visited my place while I was away on vacation and everything went smoothly! She sent many photos of Rocky and it seemed like they got along great. Would highly recommend booking Natalie in the future and hope that she'll be available when I have to leave Rocky again!

Phenomenal animal lover! Shelby was punctual, reliable, caring and very responsible during her weeklong stay with our elderly dog. She was just as happy to be with our little Biscuit as he was to be with her. Shelby is most definitely our first choice moving forward whenever we are in need of short or long-term dog sitting. Highly recommend! Thank you, Shelby! You’re the best!

Shay was absolutely amazing with our dog, Oliver. From the start, we felt completely at ease leaving him in their care. While we were away, we received the most beautiful pictures and thoughtful updates. Oliver looked so happy, relaxed, and full of smiles in every single one. It meant the world to us. During the stay, it made us happy that Shay communicated that Oli peed on his bed and was bleeding a little on his paw. It’s important to feel comfortable communicating when things aren’t perfect, and Shay resolved everything with confidence and ease. When we came home, we were welcomed by a calm, well-balanced pup who had clearly been loved, followed his routine, taken all his meds, and just looked so content. Our home was also spotless, which was such a lovely surprise. You can tell Shay truly cares, Oliver clearly made a new best buddy, and it shows (he was around the house looking for them last night) We’re beyond grateful and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to trust them again. Thank you, Shay! You’re a gem 💎

Josie stayed at our house while we were out of town and took AMAZING care of our pup. Our pup is a bit particular with her routines, but Josie took notes and recorded everything down during the meet & greet to make sure our pup got the best care possible. The house was left very clean and Josie was very communicative throughout the stay. It was overall a great experience knowing that our pup was in good hands!
