About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years through nannying, with the last 3 years being full-time pet sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—big or small, young or old. I also have experience with senior and disabled dogs and understand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and consistent with their routines. I always follow care instructions closely and make safety a top priority. I genuinely love being around animals and make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, just like they would at home. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine since I have an open and flexible schedule. I’m available during the day, evenings, and overnight, and I’m able to plan my day around a pet’s needs rather than squeezing them in. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, meds, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get the time and attention they deserve. I also have a reliable car, so getting to and from visits is not a problem. I care for pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a space they know. I’m very respectful of both the pet and the home and always follow care instructions exactly as they’re given. I pay close attention to routines, safety, and any special needs, especially with senior or disabled dogs. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and never stressed, and I always aim to keep things calm, clean, and familiar. I treat every pet like my own and want pet parents to feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. Either way, we'll have a good time and you'll get photos afterward so you can see their adventure. At the end of the day, I know that pets aren't "just pets." They're family. I also know how much trust it takes to hand over your keys and leave someone in charge of a furry family member you love. My goal is to make that decision feel easy by giving your companion lots of care, attention, and affection while keeping you updated every step of the way. I'd love to meet you and your furry companion! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. In my professional life, I've worked as an engineer, but right now I'm taking time off and intentionally spending more time focusing on the people, experiences, and things that bring me joy! Including caring for animals! Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I genuinely enjoy making pets a part of my day. I'm also a big believer in keeping owners updated, so sending photos and little updates throughout the day is something I genuinely enjoy, not something I do out of obligation. At this time, I only provide care in my clients' homes. I find that pets are often happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment where they can stick to their normal routines. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, habits, schedule, favorite activities, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Every pet is different, and I try to tailor my care to their individual needs. For house sitting, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible while you're away. I'll follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, give plenty of attention and companionship, administer medications if needed, and keep your home tidy and secure. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

My most recent (now senior) dog has gone through surgeries, cancer treatments (with medication), and strict dieting so I am familiar with having to keep pets to a strict schedule and habits — while also giving them the best life possible with many walks and plenty of pets. I work a 9-5 job during the week with Fridays working remotely. I go in office usually from 9am -3pm and work the rest of the day remote but is subject to change. I am happy to accommodate and make it work for what you need and what works best for your pet(s)! I can also tomato by before and/or after work & dog/cat sit over weekdays and weekends. In an initial visit meeting your animal(s), I take thorough notes to what your pet needs, what their usual schedule looks like, and any other important information regarding care. Making sure your pet is safe, healthy, and happy is first priority.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. My first puppy was a Yorkie named Lola, who I got when I was 5 — she was my first love! Animals have always been one of the most meaningful parts of my life, and that hasn’t changed. I currently live with two cats and a dog, including my cat Kai, who is truly my pride and joy and the light of my life. I’d do absolutely anything for him, so I know firsthand what it’s like to love and care for your pet like they’re your child. Growing up, a lot of my volunteer work centered around animals, from helping at shelters to walking dogs in my neighborhood. I’d love to be an extra source of love, care, and support for you and your little one, and hopefully become your pet’s new favorite neighborhood friend! I care for the pets in my house everyday normally - as well as my partners cat. I also just finished the project I was on and have a lot of free time to help support you and your pets!
