About: Hi! I’m Aster, I’m a college student, and I’ve loved pets since I was still learning how to walk! Since I was little I’ve lived with and cared for five different dogs, one of which I personally trained since he was a puppy, and two rescues that needed some more TLC than your average pet. I’ve walked and pet-sat for various friends and neighbors since I was five—for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs and birds! I’ve volunteered at farms and worked with a variety of farm animals as well. I currently have two dogs and a cat. I’m well accustomed to walking, feeding, grooming, bath time, giving medication via pills or gels, and lots and lots of love! I’ve cared for senior and puppy dogs, and dogs from 10 up to 90 pounds so I’m ready for any size of furball. My husky mix Sky has been with me for almost 11 years now, meaning I’m also used to handling dogs with higher energy or mischievous personalities (if you’re a fellow husky owner I know you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about haha). I’ve cared for a rescue cat of my own since she was about a year old, and also have some experience pet sitting for others’ cats. Any pet I take care of I always treat like they’re my own furbaby! Pets are family to me, not just a job, and I make an effort to truly connect with any pet I’m caring for—even if it’s just for one walk! I promise lots of pets and attention (if that’s something your pet likes) and I’m always up for taking as many photos as you want of your pet so you can see how they’re doing! I’m currently home from college for the summer and have extremely open and flexible hours for pet care. I’ll be available until the end of August when I leave for my next semester. I am very flexible to following whatever plan your pet needs. If you give me a schedule I will do my absolute best to follow it down to the punctuation! I am a teacher, mom of four grown children, with too much time on my hands and I need some furry friends! I also love to exercise and to walk every day. I have puppy trained 7 golden retrievers/standard poodles to be assistance dogs for autistic children which means I took a six-week puppy training course with each pup. About: I have taken care of a lot of dogs over the years but now I'm looking for a new adventure with Rover. I promise the best for your dog I currently have a job but having another dog around the house or a dog to go and walk would not be an inconvenience at all We have a Yorkie at home and she pretty much does whatever she wants. Your dog would be treated exactly the same. She gets along with other dogs very well and knows how to handle herself around larger dogs
About: I've had plenty of experience with animals as well, as I have many of my own, and volunteered at an animal shelter at home for quite some time now. I have my own car so transportation is never an issue. I've petsit for many families throughout the years, and take care of their fur babies just as I do my own! If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
