“Carly treats my dog as she would her own. She’s patient toward my shy pup and puts in extra effort to make her comfortable. I feel very assured Layla is in great hands when I’m working and would recommend her in a heartbeat.”

“Sabrina is very gentle and loving with Susu, I've never seen my cat warm up so fast to a stranger. Sabrina also does an amazing job at effortlessly giving him his required medication, offering him treat rewards, and keeping him happy by giving him enough attention through pets and play time. She's great at making Susu feel less lonely and comfortable, with the way Susu loves sitting on her lap. Will definitely contact her again for future visits!”

“Brady was AWESOME! She was willing to come for an intro visit to make sure she was okay with Abby and vice-versa, and for us to go through all our instructions, key-leaving, etc. And she faithfully showed up and spent time with our little girl, who was clearly not stressed because she was in great spirits when we got home. She even sent us photos so we could see how well she was doing. So grateful for the peace of mind so we could relax and enjoy our trip without worrying whether or not Abby would be in good hands. We'll definitely hire Brady again next time we need a cat sitter!”
About: I have been a pet owner, foster mom, rescue volunteer, and assistance dog trainer for more than two decades. I am a teacher, mom of four grown children, with too much time on my hands and I need some furry friends! I also love to exercise and to walk every day. I am a quiet, introverted person, an avid walker and reader, holder of two masters degrees, and a person of high integrity. I can be trusted in your home. I have experience with very old and very young dogs and cats, with bottle-feeding, administering meds, eye-drops, and even administering subcutaneous fluids. I have puppy trained 7 golden retrievers/standard poodles to be assistance dogs for autistic children which means I took a six-week puppy training course with each pup. I am referred to by my friends and family as the Dog Whisperer. I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I am a preschool teacher (leave my house at 8 and return home by 4.) I like to spend as much of my free time with furry friends. I have been fostering dogs and cats for decades and have a lot of experience sharing my home with other people’s pets. Again, I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I have yet to find an animal I couldn't love. I care for my own pets as if they were my sons and daughters, much to my real children's annoyance!
“Kat is absolutely wonderful with our dog Maggie. She is reliable, communicative and clearly cares about Maggie’s well-being. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Maggie is in such good hands while I am away!”

“Giana was great! She took care of our two pups for 3 days while we were out of town and was great with communication. One of our dogs is more skittish and people shy and Giana was very patient and willing to try all the tricks to get her outside. I would book Giana again!”

“Ashley was amazing. She came the week before to meet us and the dogs. She confirmed appointments, gave us an update after the visit and sent pics. We love her and will be using her again!”

“Josh was like a member of the family with our dogs. They didn't even bark upon meeting him. He was extremely responsive and caring. I am so happy we chose him over boarding so our pups can stay comfy at home. Josh is the best!”

About: When I’m not at work, I spend most of my time with our 9 year old rescue dog Cooper, or spending time going on walks as a family. In my spare time, I’ve had the pleasure of fostering 7 rescue dogs in our home until they all were matched with a loving family and their forever homes❤️. Lover of all animals (cats included, although I cannot pet them due to allergies🤧). I enjoy getting to meet and take care of all sorts of pets on Rover. I’ve even had the chance to feed a families horses while they were away on vacation. If your fuzzy family member needs a babysitter, a nice walk, or anything in between then feel free to send me a message! Currently open 7 days a week for availability. Feel free to reach out regarding availability or with any questions, and I’m also happy to do a meet and greet if preferred. For high energy dogs I have taken them on neighborhood walks, hikes, or played toys with them. I always let the pet parent guide me on what their dog is up for. We have a senior dog gentleman of our own, so for dogs with a milder temperament I am happy to take them on short walks or can hang inside with them if that’s more their speed.
“Sade did a bunch of “drop in” visits for us to walk our two pups, one of which is a 15 week old puppy & can be a handful at times! She was awesome all around and the dogs loved her! Very professional, friendly, courteous, trustworthy, punctual and has excellent communication - would highly recommend Sade to anyone looking for pet care services!”

About: I've been obsessed with animals since I was a kid. I especially love dogs, and I am fascinated by their complex social lives. I've worked with animals during every stage of my life. In college, I watched after a farm and worked at a kennel. In grad school, I looked after dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Since then, I've published a thesis project on conflicts between urban coyotes and domestic dogs. I worked for two years at a wolf sanctuary, and I'm currently looking for additional work to supplement my other forms of income. I understand dogs and cats from both evolutionary and behavioral perspectives. By now, research is unanimous that punishment creates anxiety and tense relationships between people and dogs. Positive reinforcement is effective and much more enjoyable for both dog and owner, so this is how I approach pet care. I love taking dogs on lengthy walks, and I'm happy to feed, walk, and house sit animals! I'm currently a professional writer. This is flexible work, so I can take on three to four walks a day. I am unavailable most weekends. When bringing a new animal to my home, I always introduce them to my dog, Mina, carefully. This means that I start with two people holding both animals on leashes. If the animals show no signs of aggression, I transition to a watch period. If this works, then I relax the rules a little. When I go to someone's house, I feel out the environment and take necessary precautions to keep all pets safe. I never assume that two strange animals will get along. My experience in the wildlife sanctuary world tells me that this can be very dangerous. Still, I am happy to carefully introduce my dog to yours if you think it might be a good fit. Playing animals burn far more energy than walking ones.
“Jeffrey was a wonderful sitter for our three cats. He did everything we asked and more. He came by for an orientation and was warm and gentle with the cats. He kept everything clean and truly cared about an appropriate environment for our cats. He visited twice in one day and heated up the cats' food, even though we did not ask. He sent photos and messages. We could not have been happier. Thank you, Jeffrey!”

“I highly recommend Arassely to anyone looking for a professional and attentive pet sitter. From the start, communication was clear, prompt, and reassuring. She followed all care instructions closely and took the time to get to know my pet’s personality and routines. I received thoughtful updates and photos throughout the visits, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I returned home to a happy, well-cared-for pet and a tidy space. It’s clear that Arassely takes their responsibility seriously and truly cares about the animals they look after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”
