About: We are a young couple with a lot of love for furry friends of all kinds! I have grown up with cats my whole life, and Raul has grown up with dogs his whole life. Together, we have fostered several rabbits in our home and successfully found them their furrever homes. We both have studied animal behavior in graduate school and have experience working with many different kinds of animals. I am a PhD student at Princeton University, so I have a very flexible schedule during the week. Raul is a middle school teacher, so his work days typically end early. We both are typically very free on the weekends and would love to have a pet to take care of and entertain! We can likely accommodate small pets in our home, as we have done for previous foster rabbits. For pets we take care of in a client's home, we are happy to respect your guidelines and preferences! We are always happy to send pictures and updates to give you the peace of mind that your pet is happy and healthy.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve fostered 8 cats and 1 dog to date, helping them adjust to new environments and getting them ready for their forever home. I also have two cats of my own and two family cats, so I understand the care, attention, and patience they need. I’m also the go to pet sitter for my friends whenever they’re away. I’m also a certified sitter through Southeastern Guide Dogs, where I’ve cared for and trained puppies and service dogs in training. This has really shown me how to work with dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I know every pet is unique and I really take the time to understand their needs and personality. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for, giving you peace of mind and lots of pictures while you’re away! I recently graduated, so I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate my time to caring for pets. Between pet sitting and other flexible work, my routine revolves around the pets I’m caring for, not the other way around. This means I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and can easily adapt to your pet’s normal routine! As of right now, I am only able to provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay where they’re most comfortable, but also to ensure that my own cats, who are nervous around other pets, remain comfortable. When caring for your pet, I treat both your home and your baby with the same respect and attention I do my own. I carefully following feeding schedule, medication instructions, walking routines, and any other care preferences you provide. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and routine so they feel safe while you’re away. Safety really is my number one priority. I’ll make sure doors, gates, windows, and any other areas are secure. I’ll be sure to keep your pet in approved areas, look out for any changes in behavior or health, and send lots and lots of pictures and videos!

About: There is nothing is love more than dogs, except maybe cats. I have always been passionate about taking care of my animals and have always been relied on by family and friends for the same in both official and unofficial capacities. I can’t wait to become best friends with your pets! I am currently home full time and would have ample time to engage with your pets, walk them, and play with them. This can occur in your home or mine. My home has plenty of space to run around. I live in a beautifully grassy complex with a fenced dog yard 50 feet from my front door. I have a very friendly dog who also doesn’t mind being in the bedroom if your dog needs space. I’m also happy to ask all the questions I need to make sure your pets are very happy and satisfied in your own home if that’s where care takes place.

About: I have been a pet owner, foster mom, rescue volunteer, and assistance dog trainer for more than two decades. I am a teacher, mom of four grown children, with too much time on my hands and I need some furry friends! I also love to exercise and to walk every day. I am a quiet, introverted person, an avid walker and reader, holder of two masters degrees, and a person of high integrity. I can be trusted in your home. I have experience with very old and very young dogs and cats, with bottle-feeding, administering meds, eye-drops, and even administering subcutaneous fluids. I have puppy trained 7 golden retrievers/standard poodles to be assistance dogs for autistic children which means I took a six-week puppy training course with each pup. I am referred to by my friends and family as the Dog Whisperer. I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I am a preschool teacher (leave my house at 8 and return home by 4.) I like to spend as much of my free time with furry friends. I have been fostering dogs and cats for decades and have a lot of experience sharing my home with other people’s pets. Again, I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I have yet to find an animal I couldn't love. I care for my own pets as if they were my sons and daughters, much to my real children's annoyance!

About: I've been obsessed with animals since I was a kid. I especially love dogs, and I am fascinated by their complex social lives. I've worked with animals during every stage of my life. In college, I watched after a farm and worked at a kennel. In grad school, I looked after dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Since then, I've published a thesis project on conflicts between urban coyotes and domestic dogs. I worked for two years at a wolf sanctuary, and I'm currently looking for additional work to supplement my other forms of income. I understand dogs and cats from both evolutionary and behavioral perspectives. By now, research is unanimous that punishment creates anxiety and tense relationships between people and dogs. Positive reinforcement is effective and much more enjoyable for both dog and owner, so this is how I approach pet care. I love taking dogs on lengthy walks, and I'm happy to feed, walk, and house sit animals! I'm currently a professional writer. This is flexible work, so I can take on three to four walks a day. I am unavailable most weekends. When bringing a new animal to my home, I always introduce them to my dog, Mina, carefully. This means that I start with two people holding both animals on leashes. If the animals show no signs of aggression, I transition to a watch period. If this works, then I relax the rules a little. When I go to someone's house, I feel out the environment and take necessary precautions to keep all pets safe. I never assume that two strange animals will get along. My experience in the wildlife sanctuary world tells me that this can be very dangerous. Still, I am happy to carefully introduce my dog to yours if you think it might be a good fit. Playing animals burn far more energy than walking ones.

About: I've had plenty of experience with animals as well, as I have many of my own, and volunteered at an animal shelter at home for quite some time now. I have my own car so transportation is never an issue. I've petsit for many families throughout the years, and take care of their fur babies just as I do my own! I’ve just graduated and don’t begin working full-time for another month or so, so I’m very flexible during this time. I have my own car as well, making travel easy. I love going on runs or walks everyday, which works perfectly with my love for dogs.
