“Mellony was a perfect cat sitter for our cats while we were away for a week. She took great care of our two cats by feeding them, cleaning up after them, and making sure everything was in order. We originally book one 30-minute visit per day, but Mellony generously offered to come twice a day for 15 minutes each visit so that both cats would get extra attention-without changing any additional fee. We truly appreciate her kindness and dedication. It gave us peace of mind knowing our cats were in such caring and reliable hands. I highly recommend Mellony and would definitely give her 5stat rating for her outstanding service! Thank you Mellony!!”

“I enjoyed meeting Jen, and was encouraged that my two ginger cats came up to interact with her immediately, which is unusual for one of them. I felt very secure in leaving my cats in Jen's care and will use her again. When we will be away for an elongated day, we will contact Jen to check in on our Black Lab and will share her contact information with extended family in the area. We were very pleased with the personal nature of the service, and will schedule Jen again.”

“Carly was amazing! Very detailed updates, lots of pictures, while taking care of our sweet girl. Proactive communicator from start to finish! We will be booking with her again!”

“Caitlyn is great! Very quick responses, set up a meet and greet within a day, and was on time and sent pictures for each visit. Would for sure book again and probably will for our next vacation! Highly recommended”

“Sabrina is kind, calm, and gentle. We have 2 pets that are shy and skittish around new people, but Sabrina was able to get them to come around and feel comfortable. We'll definitely ask Sabrina to take care of our fur babies again!”

“Brady is outstanding! Highly recommend! First time using Brady for my diabetic cat. She came twice before the scheduled visits to go over instructions and first watch me give the injection then again to administer the injection. She did great! Followed all instructions while I was away and gave detailed information and pictures during the visit. I did not worry at all since I knew Romeo was well taken care of. I will definitely request Brady again when the need arises. Thank you so much!”

“Seana was so attentive to our shepherd while we were away on vacation. She made sure she was well taken care of and kept us at ease by sending many pictures of our girl looking happy and playing. We will certainly book Seana again in the future! She even cleaned our floors when it got dirty from our dog going in and out after it rained! She’s the best!”

“Richard was great with communication, pictures and updates during our trip. He was very professional, came and checked everything out ahead of time. Our cat obviously trusted him right away which is no easy feat. Thank you!!”

“Abigail is an amazing kitty sitter! She really went above and beyond to make my shy cat comfortable. I came back to a clean house and happy cats. Will definitely hire again!”

“Joshua is amazing! He was so professional and took such amazing care of my dog. he is a wonderful commincatir and i got great updates and oictures/videos. It was so obvious that my dog was happy and well cared for! and whem my travel olans got delayed, he jumped right in and i didnt have to worry. i highly recommend him!!!!”

“Another great experience using Jen to watch our 3 cats for the weekend! She was on time and provided details and photos from each visit so we could see everyone was doing well. She even managed to befriend our shy girl kitty by the end of the weekend!”

About: We are a young couple with a lot of love for furry friends of all kinds! I have grown up with cats my whole life, and Raul has grown up with dogs his whole life. Together, we have fostered several rabbits in our home and successfully found them their furrever homes. We both have studied animal behavior in graduate school and have experience working with many different kinds of animals. I am a PhD student at Princeton University, so I have a very flexible schedule during the week. Raul is a middle school teacher, so his work days typically end early. We both are typically very free on the weekends and would love to have a pet to take care of and entertain! We can likely accommodate small pets in our home, as we have done for previous foster rabbits. For pets we take care of in a client's home, we are happy to respect your guidelines and preferences! We are always happy to send pictures and updates to give you the peace of mind that your pet is happy and healthy.
About: I've adopted many dogs, but started pet sitting for my much needed "fix" when my kids left the nest and couldn't help if i got another dog while I worked. I have dog sat at other people's house, at my house and do love senior dogs as much as young ones. I'm now retired and want to love on dogs. I just retired so i'm quite flexible. I love walking in general, and would enjoy the company of a pooch or 2. I'm good for just the day, overnight or extended needs. I always considered my own dogs as being family members. That said, they are allowed on the furniture. I have a small fenced back yard if your pooch doesn't want to walk in the rain or needs a late evening potty break. During the daytime, I like to walk a lot so your place or mine to give your dog's legs a stretch. I always have dogs on leash, no free running dogs are allowed in my development. I do belong to the Lower Makefield dog park if you are local and want to add me to your account to bring your dog there.
“Clarissa was wonderful for drop in visits with my pup while we were away on vacation! Super thoughtful and punctual. Would recommend and we will be sure to book again when we need!”

About: I have been a pet owner, foster mom, rescue volunteer, and assistance dog trainer for more than two decades. I am a teacher, mom of four grown children, with too much time on my hands and I need some furry friends! I also love to exercise and to walk every day. I am a quiet, introverted person, an avid walker and reader, holder of two masters degrees, and a person of high integrity. I can be trusted in your home. I have experience with very old and very young dogs and cats, with bottle-feeding, administering meds, eye-drops, and even administering subcutaneous fluids. I have puppy trained 7 golden retrievers/standard poodles to be assistance dogs for autistic children which means I took a six-week puppy training course with each pup. I am referred to by my friends and family as the Dog Whisperer. I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I am a preschool teacher (leave my house at 8 and return home by 4.) I like to spend as much of my free time with furry friends. I have been fostering dogs and cats for decades and have a lot of experience sharing my home with other people’s pets. Again, I believe in pet in-loco parentis - pet parent in your absence! I have yet to find an animal I couldn't love. I care for my own pets as if they were my sons and daughters, much to my real children's annoyance!
About: I have taken care of a lot of dogs over the years but now I'm looking for a new adventure with Rover. I promise the best for your dog I currently have a job but having another dog around the house or a dog to go and walk would not be an inconvenience at all We have a Yorkie at home and she pretty much does whatever she wants. Your dog would be treated exactly the same. She gets along with other dogs very well and knows how to handle herself around larger dogs
The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Yardley is $22

Carly is amazing and I highly recommend her!! She took care of our cat Madison while we were away and also brought in our mail and kept an eye on some of my outdoor plants! We didn’t have to worry about anything while we were gone! We will definitely book Carly again!
We felt very comfortable with Brady watching our two cats, Liam and Samson. Brady provided updates and pictures of our boys and we could tell she really enjoyed watching them. One thing to mention, our cats tend to be anxious when we are away from them for any longer lengths of time, however when we got home they seemed totally normal and calm. This makes all the difference knowing our boys were well taken care of. We will definitely book Brady again.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Melissa. From the very first message, her communication was prompt, thoughtful, and reassuring. She kept me updated consistently with photos and detailed notes, which gave me complete peace of mind the entire time. It was clear my pets were not just being “watched” — they were genuinely cared for, loved, and understood. Melissa followed their routines perfectly, paid attention to their individual personalities, and treated them like her own. I came home to happy, relaxed animals and a home that was spotless. What truly sets Melissa apart is her attentiveness and heart. You can tell this isn’t just a job to her — she takes real pride in what she does. She is reliable, kind, responsible, and an excellent communicator. If you’re considering booking Melissa, don’t hesitate. She is an absolute gem, and I would trust her again in a heartbeat.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Yardley. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
