About: With a lifelong passion for animal care, I bring years of hands-on experience to every pet I look after. From raising family pets and fostering animals in need — including those with medical requirements — to volunteering at local animal shelters and working summers at a pet boarding and grooming salon, I've developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. My commitment is simple: your pets will be safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a homebody at heart, I've found that my quiet days leave plenty of room to open my home and heart to more animal companionship. I'm looking for meaningful ways to fill my time, and connecting with new pets feels like the perfect fit. I also have a dog of my own who is wonderful with other animals — he'd love nothing more than making new furry friends, and I know he'll bring extra joy and companionship to any pet in our care. While I don't currently have a yard, that's something I'm looking forward to adding in the future. For added peace of mind, I have security cameras throughout my home so I'm always aware of what's happening. I live alone with two well-behaved, trained pets, and I'm rarely away — whether at home or just around the corner, your pets will always be close by and never left alone for long.
“We always trust Brandi with our two dogs! She is easy to communicate with and our pups are always happy to see her. We will definitely be using her for dog sitting in the future!”

“Sabrina is very gentle and loving with Susu, I've never seen my cat warm up so fast to a stranger. Sabrina also does an amazing job at effortlessly giving him his required medication, offering him treat rewards, and keeping him happy by giving him enough attention through pets and play time. She's great at making Susu feel less lonely and comfortable, with the way Susu loves sitting on her lap. Will definitely contact her again for future visits!”

“Rebecca was a lifesaver dropping in to let our Holly out and give her a little company! The drop in went well, and Holly was happy to see Rebecca. I will not hesitate to book Rebecca again. Thank you, Rebecca!!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. From playful puppies to senior pets needing a little extra patience and attention, I’ve cared for them all—and I truly treat every animal like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a fun, energizing walk or a calm, reassuring visit, I adjust my care to fit your pet’s unique personality and needs. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. During visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box or yard clean-up, medication (if needed), and lots of affection and attention. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I’d be honored to care for your pet as if they were my own! I'm currently working part-time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I can usually pet walk/drop in or pet sit on the other days. I prefer to care for pets in their own environment because that's where they feel most comfortable. The safety of your pet is the most important thing to me.
“This is the second time that I have had Linda for a series of drop-in visits with my dog, Jenny. When Linda came to get the key from me, Jenny was so excited to see her again! Jenny’s reaction assures me that she has had a VERY positive experience with Linda!”

“Karren did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog Daisy while we were away. She sent us photos and detailed reports after every visit, which were so wonderful to receive. In addition to feeding and watering and letting Daisy out for pees and poops, Karren administered Daisy's medication, cleaned up a mess, and brought in our packages. We will most definitely use her again.”

“Bri was wonderful! She came to meet the pups and was so sweet. When visiting, she was thorough in the care for the dogs, communicative with needs and any questions, and overall incredibly positive! My puppy had an accident and Bri immediately cleaned it and pup up. I could tell from the videos she sent the dogs were happy and comfortable with her, which is the most important thing! Would absolutely recommend Bri.”

“Angela is a great dog sitter, she was friendly and patient with our dogs, and spent time playing with them when we were away! She listen to our instructions and took really good care of our buys. We highly recommend her!”

“James was great during drop-in visits with our two cats! His rover cards were very thorough, and he was easy to communicate with. Julie was outstanding! She is so friendly and calm, and was very professional at every stage. I felt completely comfortable leaving her in charge of my six cats. I left a lot of instructions and they were followed perfectly. I even got a nice report every day, including pictures of each fur ball. We're not used to getting updates when we have a pet sitter, so that was a nice touch. All of the cats seemed happy and relaxed when we got home, and the house was locked up tight and looked exactly how we left it. If Julie is ever willing to watch six cats (and clean six litter boxes!) again, we would feel very lucky to have her help. Thank you so much again, Julie!
Ailiya was absolutely wonderful with my two kitties. She was communicative, fast at responding, caring, and gave great attention to detail. I found her to be very trustworthy and my two cats were happy and well cared for in my absence. They probably want her back for all the love and extra treats they got!

James was great during drop-in visits with our two cats! His rover cards were very thorough, and he was easy to communicate with. Even our cat who is shy around strangers felt comfortable and wanted pets from him by the end of his time caring for them. I will definitely rebook with him in the future!

Linda was great! She always takes great care of our diabetic cat. We had to change his insulin this time, and Linda didn't hesitate to stop by to learn the new injector. She sends the best photos and always makes me feel more comfortable leaving for an extended trip knowing that he is in good hands!

Bri is such a great pet sitter, I feel so lucky we found her in our area. She is communicative, kind, fun, and super thoughtful when it comes to your furry friends. She brings a positive attitude to her visits and genuinely cares about the pets she works with. Her updates are thorough and timely and I have no complaints! We will continue to book with Bri.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Trenton. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
