I live in a house where pups are welcome to roam and lounge where they feel most comfortable. Very dog-friendly and safe setting. Big yard too.
Information Rebecca C. would like to know about your pet
You let me know what's best for your pup. I'm the fun aunt, but all within the confines of what you tell me is best for them.
A typical day
Depending on breed, temperament and energy levels, we may roam the neighborhood, hit the dog park (or keep it to solo walks if pup is shy with other dogs), pass some time in a cafe, maybe do some people-watching together. I've been known to indulge the pups I'm caring for like a fun aunt-- if pup's still asking, I'll keep tossing the ball; if pup seems over the walk before we make it home, I'll carry them, even if my arms get sore; if mom/dad says it's allowed, I'm happy to share some from my plate (dog-safe food only of course!). Basically I'm a push-over, and happy if pup's safe and happy.

caring for your pup w/ gentle love
Pet care experience
It seems I have a soft, nurturing energy that many dogs are drawn to.. or so I’m told. I feel life is richer when lived with the company of a pup— the plan is to get my own in the near future, but in the meantime, I’m so happy to care for yours. I see it as a win-win-win: you get pet-care, I get pup-company, pup gets all the love and undivided attention of their favorite aunt. Besides my own animals growing up, I began caretaking for friends with pups when I moved to Mexico City a few years back. I wasn’t able to get one of my own just yet with all the travel between Mex & the US, but found that daily or weekly pup-aunt duties fulfilled the need. When in Mexico, I'm tía to a brother-sister pup duo (one big, one small) on a weekly basis, where they get to have a fun sleepover at mine and their dad gets a night to himself. I also cared for another friend’s chihuahua during the days while he was at work for some time— that little guy still goes crazy with excitement every time he sees me. And now that I’m back in PA for the summer, I’d like the keep the whole pup-aunt thing going :)

Our puppy enjoyed his time with Rebecca. Will definitely use her again.

Chowder was a happy girl when we returned home after her walk with Rebecca!
Amazing with my kittens! They were so comfortable and happy with her. Excellent communication throughout as well.
