“Best cat sitter ever!!! I can not say enough good things about having Wendy taking care of our little fur kitty, Luna!! Very responsive, accountable, keeps us super informed....really eases my mind when we are away. She also sends lots of awesome photos during her visit. Would give her 10 stars if we could!!”
“Carly treats my dog as she would her own. She’s patient toward my shy pup and puts in extra effort to make her comfortable. I feel very assured Layla is in great hands when I’m working and would recommend her in a heartbeat.”

About: I have had dogs in my life since the day I was born. I love taking care of dogs and training them because I believe there are no bad dogs. I have taken care of 3 dogs in my family who all lived long and happy lives. Pet care is perfect for my daily schedule because I am usually free during the earlier hours of the days and can take that time to go for walks or take care of any animal. I treat all the animals with the respect they deserve and give them the space or attention that they want. I always have treats or toys available and can make sure the animal feels comfortable.
“Jeffrey took great care with our three cats and communicated with us every day, sending us notes and photos. He is a pleasure to work with and gave us such peace of mind knowing all was well at home. This is our second time working with Jeffrey and he will continue to be our first choice whenever he is available.”

About: I’ve been a huge animal lover and taken care of animals since I was about 14 years old. I have fed, walked, and spend time playing with dogs and cats of all ages. I’m very comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels, and I always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I work from 7am to 5 pm monday-thursday every week, but I’m available most evenings and have open availability from Friday through Sunday. This allows me to spend quality time walking, playing with, and caring for pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space indoors and outdoors for animals to roam freely. I treat every pet like my own by providing a safe, calm environment and making sure they feel comfortable, well cared for, and loved while their owner is away.
About: I am a big animal lover, I have watched dogs before, and had a great time! I will happily walk, feed, play with, and cuddle with any dog! I’m currently a college student with lots of free time, so I will happily fill my day with taking care of and playing with dogs or cats! Currently I am a college student, so there wouldn’t be any dog or cat hangout at my place, however I would be happy to travel to and visit your pets.
“Stephanie was excellent! I had to book last minute because my other Rover Sitter cancelled, and she was able to quickly make a stop in visit to meet my cat. I received pictures and updates about everything that was going on. It just made my vacation so much more relaxing knowing that I had someone as attentive as Stephanie watching my cat!”

“Danielle was great! She took great care of our kitties and it was a huge relief getting her updates and check-ins so we knew they were safe and sound while we were in the hospital. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Elizabeth went above & beyond! A family situation caused last minute changes and she was so helpful. She took AMAZING care of both my pups and communication was fantastic. I will definitely reach out when I need a sitter again.”

About: Whether you’re heading out of town or just need someone reliable for daily walks, I treat every pup like family. From energetic fetch sessions to cozy cuddle time, I’ll make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved. I have two small dogs of my own, and I love being able to have a reliable, trustworthy sitter to take care of them. I am an elementary school teacher who has some free time as one of my daughters is in college, and another who is a teen at home. I will make sure your cherished pet is safe and well-cared for because that is what I expect when I hire a pet sitter 🐾.
“Kerri and Harry are such amazing cat sitters! They sent plentiful pictures, videos and messages about my cats while we were away and followed instructions perfectly. Very friendly folks too!”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I truly go above and beyond. I don’t just “watch” dogs. I treat them like friends. I believe pets deserve extra care, attention, and affection, and I always treat every dog the way I would treat my own. I grew up with a pitbull/brown lab mix, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to properly care for dogs of different temperaments and energy levels. I currently own a Pomeranian who brings me so much joy. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident. I want my clients to feel completely at ease knowing their pet is in loving, responsible hands. All of my clients receive the same care and attention they would get from their own family. Availability: • Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays: Available all day • Monday-Friday: 5-8AM & 1PM-11:59PM I look forward to caring for your pet with love, patience, and dedication! I intentionally build pet care into my weekly routine. On weekends, I’m in the Bucks County area and have my own car for transportation. I also love walking dogs because it fits naturally into my daily workout routine, so your pet will get consistent exercise and attention. I provide attentive in-home pet care so your pet can stay comfortable in their own environment. While I can’t board dogs, I’m happy to care for them in your home and follow all routines exactly as instructed. I use positive reinforcement, like treats and praise, to help pets listen and feel comfortable. Dogs usually warm up to me quickly. We’re best friends by the end of the job! 🐾

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Newtown Grant
Kayla is wonderful! She’s a warm, caring person who truly loves animals, and she really made an effort to bond with my cat (who is a sweet but very shy boy!) without overwhelming him. Kayla also did an excellent job of following detailed instructions (including setting an automatic feeder), and I really appreciated the photos and updates she provided while I was away. This was my first time using rover, and I feel so lucky to have found Kayla! I look forward to booking with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Newtown Grant. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
