“Samantha was wonderful once again. Came through for me in a pinch as well. Took awesome care of Niko and kept me updated. Very grateful I found her as my sitter.”

“Kerri & Harry always do a great job with Layla! It's always obvious how much Layla enjoy spending time with them and how well Kerri & Harry take care of Layla.”

“Angela and her family took such great care of our Bruno. She provided daily updates with pictures which meant so much to us. He enjoyed his stay and we’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Cathleen was phenomenal!! She took care of our dog like she was her own! We got daily pictures and updates of our dog snuggling with her family! There was a fenced in yard for Jingle to roam and a family dog for her to pal around with! It is so great that our dog can stay in the house with a family and does not have to be in crate! Highly recommend Cathleen and we will be sending our dog back to her when we go away on our next hockey trip!”

“Melissa and Dan gave us the best first experience anyone could ever hope for. I was also shocked to get updates and pictures to show my friends while I was on my trip. I have definitely been recommending their services!! Bear had an amazing time!”

“Lesley was incredibly flexible when it came to watching Cosmo! She communicated very well by sending me lots of pictures and letting me know of any issues. She was even willing to let Cosmo spend the night since I was supposed to pick him up late in the evening due to travelling. Lesley was great and I will definitely use her services again”

“Sade did a wonderful job with my shih tzu Moses and kept me up to date on how he was doing with messages and pictures. She took him out for frequent breaks and long walks, which he thoroughly enjoys. I would definitely recommend her for dog sitting!”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“This was our first time using Rover. We always had a family member watch our dog so we were nervous trusting someone else. Traci and Jeff went out of their way to make our dog feel like part of their family. Pictures were sent twice a day with a brief update. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are good people.”

“This was my first time getting a cat sitter through Rover and it was an experience that I would highly recommend. I was so happy that I chose Anwar to care for my older cat for 10 days. My cat requires daily meds and some extra care and Anwar tended to all of his needs in professional and caring manner. I will definitely book with Anwar in the future.”

“Kathleen is a fantastic dog sitter. We left our dog Lemon with her and he was loved and cared for like he was at home. He is usually nervous and scared when kenneled but he thrived at Kathleen’s. What a relief- her love for dogs is evident and she welcomed him like he is her own. There is now no worry to go on vacation and how the dog will do. We have peace of mind that he will be well-cared for.”
“Our dog Willow had the best time with Mairam and her dogs and family. We received pictures and videos immediately and we could see that Willow was making new furry friends and having a great time exploring in Mairam’s large yard. We were traveling internationally and communicated almost daily with Mai via WhatsApp. Willow was one happy well cared for pup when we picked her up. She can’t wait to go back and we know that she will be safe and content in Mai’s warm care whenever we travel.”

“We were very nervous about leaving Shelby but Monica really helped ease our nerves. She clearly treated Shelby as if she was one of her own dogs. We got pictures whenever we checked in. It’s reassuring to know that our fur baby is well cared for when we are away.”

“Excellent, excellent experience. Joe and Bonnie are warm, welcoming true dog-lovers who lavished affection on my Sona and made her feel right at home. I could go on and on about what an exceptional experience this was, but I selfishly want to keep them all to myself! ; )”

“I'm so happy that we found Courtney. Our Daisy is an older dog with mobility issues and Courtney was incredibly understanding and attentive to her needs. We received photos and messages every day that we were away that put us at ease about her care. I would highly recommend Courtney to any pet parent.”
“Kimberly did amazing with our Great Pyrenees Franklin, who is usually quite anxious of new spaces, new people and bad weather. I was amazed when Kimberly was sending photos of them on the couch together and Franklin getting belly rubs a day into his stay during a nor’easter. Kimberly provided a safe space for him with a backyard for him to explore and feel comfortable in. Thank you again.”

“Nikolaj kindly watched Luna during a difficult time in my life and I was confident that she was treated well. Nikolaj is very gentle and calm, which balances my high energy puppy.”

“Meg was great. Communication was easy and the provisions for my pup were just like home. Price very fair and in fact was same as price I was going to pay for a kennel stay which was not what I wanted to do so I was so happy to find Meg.”

“We’ve booked with Kyla before, and she continues to go above and beyond every time. Leo stayed with another dog during this visit, and she made sure everyone was comfortable and got along great. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and puts in the extra effort to make them feel safe and loved. Leo came home happy and tired from all the fun. We couldn’t recommend Kyla more and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Sabrina is very gentle and loving with Susu, I've never seen my cat warm up so fast to a stranger. Sabrina also does an amazing job at effortlessly giving him his required medication, offering him treat rewards, and keeping him happy by giving him enough attention through pets and play time. She's great at making Susu feel less lonely and comfortable, with the way Susu loves sitting on her lap. Will definitely contact her again for future visits!”

“I booked Carly last minute to feed my cat for three days while I in the hospital delivering my first child, and I'm so grateful she was available. She was reliable, communicative, and gave great updates and photos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands during an overwhelming time. I would absolutely book Carly again and highly recommend her.”

“Brady was amazing! It was our first time leaving the kitties overnight by themselves and she made us feel so comforted that they were being well cared for and loved in our absence. 12/10 recommend!”

“Katia was absolutely amazing during her visits for my cat! She provided exceptional care, stayed in constant communication, and sent wonderful photo updates that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was incredibly comforting to see that my cat was safe, happy, and well-loved. Katia is professional, reliable, and truly understands cats. I cannot recommend her highly enough and will definitely book her again. Thank you, Katia!”

About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. I’m also the trusted sitter for many of my friends and family, so I’m comfortable looking after cats that have different routines and care needs. I’ll respect their boundaries and keep them on their normal routine, giving them the attention and love they deserve. My goal is to make your cat feel as relaxed and cared for as possible while you’re away, sending you lots of pictures and videos!

“Taylor was amazing with our dog Oden! He is sometimes reactive to new people but they became fast friends!! He was very communicative and quick to reply. He sent pictures and updates about each visit and even brought in our mail!! We will definitely be booking him again! Thank you so much Taylor! We appreciate you so much.”

“Richard was great with communication, pictures and updates during our trip. He was very professional, came and checked everything out ahead of time. Our cat obviously trusted him right away which is no easy feat. Thank you!!”

“We felt confident leaving our sweet cat for the week knowing she was in good hands. We received great pics and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely trust her again! Thanks so much!”

“Ailiya was absolutely wonderful with my two kitties. She was communicative, fast at responding, caring, and gave great attention to detail. I found her to be very trustworthy and my two cats were happy and well cared for in my absence. They probably want her back for all the love and extra treats they got!”

About: I have been fostering cats and kittens for 25 years. I have fostered as many as 6 bottle feeding kittens at a time with 100% success through adoption. I have been a cat owner for thirty years. I prefer them to humans! I can administer meds, manage eye drops, bottle feed babies, and have even administered subcutaneous fluids when needed. I presently own two cats, Iggy and Jasper, who I rescued as 3 week old kittens.
About: Since the age of 8 years old based on my personal experience of having 3 dogs in my family & always one call away from my friends to take care of their fur babies — I have always found it and honor and pleasure to do so! I understand that these babies are a priority and will never be treated less than. They deserve the world and I couldn’t imagine a life without them. When taking care of your fur baby I am committed to providing the utmost exceptional care and will communicate with the owner as much as they request to — so that they can feel secure that their baby is safe while they’re away. I a full time grad student currently looking for more job opportunities that align with my school schedule. On Tuesdays & Thursdays I am on campus starting at 4pm. One of my rules of thumb in life is respect. I do not take it lightly to be considered and hired to look after your fur baby. Whichever way the owner asks that I care for their pet is exactly what I will do. I pride myself in being very responsible and genuine.

“Giana did a great job with our cats! She was reliable, responsive, and gave great updates. She was also super friendly and had fun with our cats. Would definitely have her sit for us again! Thank you, Giana!”

“We feel so fortunate that Bethany cared for our cat and our plants! She immediately earned our trust and kept in touch with just the right amount of communication, making us feel reassured and connected while we were away. We came home to a happy cat and plants that looked even better than when we left. We hope to have Bethany visit again in the future!”

About: I've been obsessed with animals since I was a kid. I especially love dogs, and I am fascinated by their complex social lives. I've worked with animals during every stage of my life. In college, I watched after a farm and worked at a kennel. In grad school, I looked after dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Since then, I've published a thesis project on conflicts between urban coyotes and domestic dogs. I worked for two years at a wolf sanctuary, and I'm currently looking for additional work to supplement my other forms of income. I understand dogs and cats from both evolutionary and behavioral perspectives. By now, research is unanimous that punishment creates anxiety and tense relationships between people and dogs. Positive reinforcement is effective and much more enjoyable for both dog and owner, so this is how I approach pet care. I love taking dogs on lengthy walks, and I'm happy to feed, walk, and house sit animals! I'm currently a professional writer. This is flexible work, so I can take on three to four walks a day. I am unavailable most weekends. When bringing a new animal to my home, I always introduce them to my dog, Mina, carefully. This means that I start with two people holding both animals on leashes. If the animals show no signs of aggression, I transition to a watch period. If this works, then I relax the rules a little. When I go to someone's house, I feel out the environment and take necessary precautions to keep all pets safe. I never assume that two strange animals will get along. My experience in the wildlife sanctuary world tells me that this can be very dangerous. Still, I am happy to carefully introduce my dog to yours if you think it might be a good fit. Playing animals burn far more energy than walking ones.

“Monica has been wonderful caring for my pup Lincoln during the days this summer! Lincoln gets so excited when we pull up to the day care house and comes home exhausted everytime! He gets to interact with all the dogs in Monica’s neighborhood in a safe environment. The fenced in backyard at Monica’s house is great reassurance that the dogs can do a lot of running and remain safe. Additionally Monica has been extremely flexible with my changing work schedule! I have rebooked with Monica week after week and will continue to do so while working in the area. Monica and her family have really made a wonderful impact on our family. We are so grateful to have met them through Rover!”

“Sonia did a great job taking care of Bella for the day. And she sent several videos and pictures of Bella throughout the day. I will be scheduling day care again with Sonia”

“Davina is great with my Jack! He goes to her house 3 days a week while I'm at work. He gets so excited when we show up and he runs straight to the door. She is very transparent with his care and she makes sure all his needs are met. Even providing him with a coat when he didn't want to go out in the rain 🥰 I highly recommend Davina for your pet care!”

“I feel super comfortable leaving Gordon with Melissa and Dan. I know he's in good hands as I can tell they are animal lovers, 100%. Thank you so much for inviting my pup into your home <3”

“Angela, Michael, and their kids were amazing! I had reached out about them watching my dog on Thanksgiving last minute due to last minute plans, and they were lifesavers. They were incredibly flexible, and watched her from the early morning until late night. They sent lots of pictures and updates and my dog seemed to settle in really well and enjoyed herself. They also were really responsive and I never had to wait long for a message or response. She can be a nervous dog but Angela and Michael made sure she felt comfortable and I know that she was in good hands. Overall, a really trustworthy family to watch your dog - will be booking them again if needed and will be recommending them to my friends. Thanks guys!”
About: I have taken care of dogs for the last five years. I am reliable, dependable and love animals more than anything! They deserve to have just as much fun while their owners are away. Fresh water bowls, fresh meals, treats (if owner approves), lots of fetch, chase around the house and dog snuggles. They will get at least 5 walks a day (rain or shine).

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve fostered 8 cats and 1 dog to date, helping them adjust to new environments and getting them ready for their forever home. I also have two cats of my own and two family cats, so I understand the care, attention, and patience they need. I’m also the go to pet sitter for my friends whenever they’re away. I’m also a certified sitter through Southeastern Guide Dogs, where I’ve cared for and trained puppies and service dogs in training. This has really shown me how to work with dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I know every pet is unique and I really take the time to understand their needs and personality. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for, giving you peace of mind and lots of pictures while you’re away! I recently graduated, so I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate my time to caring for pets. Between pet sitting and other flexible work, my routine revolves around the pets I’m caring for, not the other way around. This means I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and can easily adapt to your pet’s normal routine! As of right now, I am only able to provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay where they’re most comfortable, but also to ensure that my own cats, who are nervous around other pets, remain comfortable. When caring for your pet, I treat both your home and your baby with the same respect and attention I do my own. I carefully following feeding schedule, medication instructions, walking routines, and any other care preferences you provide. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and routine so they feel safe while you’re away. Safety really is my number one priority. I’ll make sure doors, gates, windows, and any other areas are secure. I’ll be sure to keep your pet in approved areas, look out for any changes in behavior or health, and send lots and lots of pictures and videos!
“Carly was an absolute delight to have as a dog walker. Our dog Daisy adored her. Carly was communicative, reliable, kind and met all of our needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker. We will most definitely be rebooking her in the future when we need it. Thank you so much Carly!”

About: Hi! I’m Aster, I’m a college student, and I’ve loved pets since I was still learning how to walk! Since I was little I’ve lived with and cared for five different dogs, one of which I personally trained since he was a puppy, and two rescues that needed some more TLC than your average pet. I’ve walked and pet-sat for various friends and neighbors since I was five—for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs and birds! I’ve volunteered at farms and worked with a variety of farm animals as well. I currently have two dogs and a cat. I’m well accustomed to walking, feeding, grooming, bath time, giving medication via pills or gels, and lots and lots of love! I’ve cared for senior and puppy dogs, and dogs from 10 up to 90 pounds so I’m ready for any size of furball. My husky mix Sky has been with me for almost 11 years now, meaning I’m also used to handling dogs with higher energy or mischievous personalities (if you’re a fellow husky owner I know you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about haha). I’ve cared for a rescue cat of my own since she was about a year old, and also have some experience pet sitting for others’ cats. Any pet I take care of I always treat like they’re my own furbaby! Pets are family to me, not just a job, and I make an effort to truly connect with any pet I’m caring for—even if it’s just for one walk! I promise lots of pets and attention (if that’s something your pet likes) and I’m always up for taking as many photos as you want of your pet so you can see how they’re doing! I’m currently home from college for the summer and have extremely open and flexible hours for pet care. I’ll be available until the end of August when I leave for my next semester. I am very flexible to following whatever plan your pet needs. If you give me a schedule I will do my absolute best to follow it down to the punctuation! Whether I’m walking or pet sitting your pet, they’ll have my full attention. I’m always looking out for their health and comfort.
About: I've always been a dog lover! I've had a dog for almost 13 years and frequently dog sit for family members! I am also a daycare teacher and love getting to care for them and grow with them! As a daycare teacher, I quickly pick up on their schedules, allergies, different needs of each child, etc., which would easily translate into helping your furry friend. I hope to get to know you and your furry family members! I am currently working full time as a daycare teacher but have most nights and weekends free. I would be available after about 5:15pm on week nights and throughout the day on weekends! I do have a family dog and frequently dog sit family dogs. Taking them for walks (or simply letting them out in the backyard), playing and interacting with them, and feeding them all on their schedule! And of course, loving them unconditionally
“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Summer took amazing care of our three dogs while we were away for Christmas. Communication was excellent the entire time, and it was clear how much our dogs loved and trusted her. Summer is friendly, reliable, and truly great with pets. While we were away we had total peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

About: i’ve had dogs in my family since i was a baby and have always been known to be a “dog whisperer” who would “even pet cujo”. i also volunteer at a no kill animal shelter year round in south carolina! i am home from college for the summer until august so i will be free pretty much all day every day to play/walk/watch your pups(or cats)! i have two dogs at home who have lots of space to run around and play and me and my younger brother love to give them lots of attention and playtime!

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, and for over ten years, I’ve had the pleasure of working at various dog care facilities. I also have hands-on experience caring for a variety of other pets, including cats, lizards, and small rodents. Along with making sure your pets are well cared for and safe, I truly enjoy giving them plenty of affection and attention. My background includes raising and caring for dogs from newborn puppies onward. While my pet first aid and CPR certification has lapsed, I remain very knowledgeable in both areas. I have a strong understanding of different dog breeds, behaviors, and personalities, as well as care for cats and exotic pets. I’m happy to provide pet-sitting services and can share references if you’d like. While working at dog daycare facilities, I served as a shift supervisor, ensuring all dogs received excellent care from every staff member, including myself. As a supervisor, I was also trusted to administer medications (except injections) as needed. - As an online student, I enjoy wonderful day-to-day flexibility, which means I can bring my coursework with me and easily adapt my schedule to your pet’s needs. On days when I don’t have outside commitments, I’m available to provide attentive, loving care, spending most or even all of the day keeping your pets company and making sure they feel happy and relaxed. - My regular commitment is part-time babysitting for my family, so I’m away every Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (and starting in late August 2026, this will include the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month). If you’re comfortable with this daytime gap, I make sure to provide extra care and attention both right before I leave and as soon as I return, along with dedicated overnight stays to keep your home and pets feeling secure and cared for. - While I don't drive myself, I have a fully committed family network that can provide me with reliable and on-time transportation. - Your pet’s safety is my top priority. To ensure a safe environment and comply with local leash laws, I follow clear and careful yard and walk guidelines based on your home’s setup: * If you have a fenced yard, I’m happy to use it for supervised playtime and potty breaks, so your pets can enjoy some safe, relaxed time outdoors. * If your yard isn’t fenced or uses an invisible fence, I won’t let pets roam free. Instead, I’ll make sure your dogs get all their walks and potty breaks on a handheld leash, so you can feel confident they’re always safe and secure. - For your pet’s daily routine, I’m happy to take your dogs on walks whenever they need them, and I’m comfortable crating them if that’s part of their routine. - I also love caring for cats. Cleaning litter pans, providing fresh water and food every day, enjoying interactive play, and making sure their favorite routines and cozy hiding spots are respected. - For their safety, all cats, whether they usually go outdoors or not, will be kept inside while I’m caring for them, just to make sure they stay safe and sound. - In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, my family that is able to drive for me is available 24/7 to immediately transport me and your pet to your preferred local veterinarian or the nearest 24-hour emergency animal hospital.

Lover of all animals (cats included, although I cannot pet them due to allergies🤧). I enjoy getting to meet and take care of all sorts of pets on Rover. I’ve even had the chance to feed a families horses while they were away on vacation. If your fuzzy family member needs a babysitter, a nice walk, or anything in between then feel free to send me a message! Currently open 7 days a week for availability. Feel free to reach out regarding availability or with any questions, and I’m also happy to do a meet and greet if preferred. For high energy dogs I have taken them on neighborhood walks, hikes, or played toys with them. I always let the pet parent guide me on what their dog is up for. We have a senior dog gentleman of our own, so for dogs with a milder temperament I am happy to take them on short walks or can hang inside with them if that’s more their speed.

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“Jolanta and her family are the best! Our pup Lulu felt very comfortable right away and she was in good spirits when we picked her up after ten days away. We could tell she got a lot of love and attention. Jolanta’s very friendly and great with providing photo and video updates. Also very safety minded. Would highly recommend!!”

“Audrey and Dan went above and beyond to take care of my senior Newfoundland (12 years 2 months) when we went away for 5 nights. With her age, she unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and they provided really great care and provided updates throughout the day on how she was doing - they even took turns sleeping downstairs with her so she wouldn't be alone. Caring for a stranger's 130lb dog is not easy but I was able to worry a little less knowing she was being cared for lovingly by them. They were also very flexible and allowed me to bring a bunch of floor runners to their house and they were also able to follow my millions of instructions including feeding schedules with supplements, and pills. Their patience and senior dog experience is invaluable and I would trust them with all my future dog needs. THANK YOU AGAIN!”
“This is our 2nd stay with Christine. She has always communicated well with us on Chewie's stay. We love that she tries to watch only 1 dog at a time to keep her focus on the care of 1. We are already booked with Christine in Sept.”

“We just returned from vacation and couldn’t be happier with the care our Weimaraner received while we were away! As any Weim owner knows, they are full of energy, curiosity, and need lots of outdoor time and Junior and his wife understood and embraced that. From the very beginning, they were warm, attentive, and clearly experienced with boarding. They made sure our pup had plenty of structured walks and outdoor breaks to keep him active and engaged. We received updates with photos of him happily trotting outside, sniffing around, or just basking in the sun. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he wasn’t just cooped up indoors but actually enjoying his own little vacation! When we picked him up, he was happy and healthy in the best way. It’s clear he was well cared for and got all the movement and love he needed while we were gone.”
