About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. About: Since the age of 8 years old based on my personal experience of having 3 dogs in my family & always one call away from my friends to take care of their fur babies — I have always found it and honor and pleasure to do so! About: I've been obsessed with animals since I was a kid. I especially love dogs, and I am fascinated by their complex social lives. I've worked with animals during every stage of my life. In college, I watched after a farm and worked at a kennel. In grad school, I looked after dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Positive reinforcement is effective and much more enjoyable for both dog and owner, so this is how I approach pet care. I love taking dogs on lengthy walks, and I'm happy to feed, walk, and house sit animals! I'm currently a professional writer. This is flexible work, so I can take on three to four walks a day. I am unavailable most weekends. When bringing a new animal to my home, I always introduce them to my dog, Mina, carefully. This means that I start with two people holding both animals on leashes. If the animals show no signs of aggression, I transition to a watch period. If this works, then I relax the rules a little. When I go to someone's house, I feel out the environment and take necessary precautions to keep all pets safe. I never assume that two strange animals will get along. My experience in the wildlife sanctuary world tells me that this can be very dangerous. Still, I am happy to carefully introduce my dog to yours if you think it might be a good fit. Playing animals burn far more energy than walking ones.

About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. Buddy gets 2 walks in the morning before I leave for work. I work about 15 minutes away from home. I use my lunch break to come home and walk Buddy from 1230-1p every day. Then I am home for the night by 430, which we then spend the night to go on a nice long walk after dinner. Fresh water bowls, fresh meals, treats (if owner approves), lots of fetch, chase around the house and dog snuggles. They will get at least 5 walks a day (rain or shine).

About: Hi! I’m Aster, I’m a college student, and I’ve loved pets since I was still learning how to walk! Since I was little I’ve lived with and cared for five different dogs, one of which I personally trained since he was a puppy, and two rescues that needed some more TLC than your average pet. About: I've had plenty of experience with animals as well, as I have many of my own, and volunteered at an animal shelter at home for quite some time now. I have my own car so transportation is never an issue. I've petsit for many families throughout the years, and take care of their fur babies just as I do my own! I’ve just graduated and don’t begin working full-time for another month or so, so I’m very flexible during this time. I have my own car as well, making travel easy. I love going on runs or walks everyday, which works perfectly with my love for dogs. Whether you have a dog with high energy or just one that enjoys that daily fresh air, I’ll be happy to bring them with me!
About: When I’m not at work, I spend most of my time with our 9 year old rescue dog Cooper, or spending time going on walks as a family. In my spare time, I’ve had the pleasure of fostering 7 rescue dogs in our home until they all were matched with a loving family and their forever homes❤️. Lover of all animals (cats included, although I cannot pet them due to allergies🤧). I enjoy getting to meet and take care of all sorts of pets on Rover. I’ve even had the chance to feed a families horses while they were away on vacation. If your fuzzy family member needs a babysitter, a nice walk, or anything in between then feel free to send me a message! Currently open 7 days a week for availability. Feel free to reach out regarding availability or with any questions, and I’m also happy to do a meet and greet if preferred. For high energy dogs I have taken them on neighborhood walks, hikes, or played toys with them. I always let the pet parent guide me on what their dog is up for. We have a senior dog gentleman of our own, so for dogs with a milder temperament I am happy to take them on short walks or can hang inside with them if that’s more their speed.

Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”
