Whether it's administering oral medication, applying topical treatments, or managing injections, your pet's health is my top priority. Exercise and Play: Engaging physical and mental activities are vital for pets' well-being. I'll engage in interactive play, walks, and stimulating games to keep them entertained, happy, and healthy. Hygiene and Cleanliness: I maintain a clean and hygienic environment for your pet. Regularly cleaning food and water bowls, litter boxes, and bedding. Communication: Regular updates are crucial to ease your mind while you're away. I'll provide you with timely messages, photos, and even videos of your pet, so you can stay connected and see that they're in good hands. Emergency Preparedness: While I hope it never happens, I am prepared for emergencies. I'll have your contact information, your veterinarian's details, and a plan in place to address any unexpected situations that may arise. Safety and Security: I'll ensure that your home is secure during my visits. Doors and windows will be properly closed and locked. If necessary, I'll also bring in mail, adjust curtains, and perform other tasks to give the appearance that your home is occupied. Initial Consultation: Before the pet-sitting period begins, I'll meet with you and your pet (in person or virtually) to discuss your pet's routine, medical needs, and any specific requirements they may have. Ultimately, I treat your pet as if they were my own, offering the same love, care, and attention I would want for my furry companions. Your pet's happiness, safety, and well-being are my primary concerns throughout my time caring for them in your home.

Meghan did an amazing job caring for our senior dog for several drop ins. She was prompt, great with getting her to take medication, and cleaned up after our dog accidents. She sent pictures which were a comfort to know our dog was well cared for and thoughtful. Very very happy.
Meghan would be a wonderful caregiver for your pet. She cares for her own 2 dogs, goes to school full time, works part time and volunteers her extra time training and caring for search and rescue dogs. She also goes above and beyond by picking up and dropping off dogs to their foster families.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets. I can readily adjust my schedule to the needs of you and your pets. Caring for the pets in your home is a responsibility I take very seriously!
