“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Diane to check in on our dog, Riley, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we met, Diane demonstrated a genuine love for animals and a high level of professionalism. She was in tune with Riley’s needs and followed all the instructions we provided for feeding, watering and caring for Riley. Diane sent photos and an update from her check in visit which gave us peace of mind, knowing Riley was in good hands. I highly recommend Diane Hanna to anyone in need of a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. Thank you Diane for taking such good care of Riley!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old, and I grew up around larger breeds, such as pitbulls. I also have experience with dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs. Taking care of pets is a daily routine and it should always be on a consistent schedule. I always make sure to feed and walk my pets before and after going to work. I also make sure to give them adequate attention and play time. I always make sure to keep pets from getting into things that may harm them or make them sick, and I like to give dogs at least 15-20 of walking time to get their energy out.
“Elizabeth went above & beyond! A family situation caused last minute changes and she was so helpful. She took AMAZING care of both my pups and communication was fantastic. I will definitely reach out when I need a sitter again.”

“Carly treats my dog as she would her own. She’s patient toward my shy pup and puts in extra effort to make her comfortable. I feel very assured Layla is in great hands when I’m working and would recommend her in a heartbeat.”

“Carol was fantastic. She came by the day before to meet our dog and was very professional. We had full confidence knowing our dog would be taken care of while we weee away”

“Laura was incredibly responsive and communicative from the start, and she was willing to take care of my dog on very short notice. My dog was well cared for and happy when I returned. I truly appreciate her flexibility and professionalism. Highly recommend!”

“Brady did an excellent job caring for our pets while we were away. I was a little nervous leaving them since we recently moved and our German Shepherd Dog recently tore her CCL and this was their first visits with Brady. We had nothing to be concerned about though as Brady was so attentive and careful. She kept us in the loop with detailed reports, lots of photos and spent extra time giving love and attention to both our dog and our cat. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I had a German Shepherd for 10 years who I had spent every day with. Today I like to go for long walks and can keep up with an energetic dog. I also know how to trim claws and take care of basic things like feeding, brushing, and playing with pets. I can stay during overnight stays for long periods or come to just check in! Ive been consistently sitting on Rover since October 2024 I am usually free on weekends. I work a full time job on weekdays 2pm-10:30pm daily but Im still available for overnights during my off time and check ins earlier in the day I can check in to feed, play with, or just give attention to pets. I can also visit to give walks or be there overnight and keep them from being lonely or getting into trouble
“Stephanie was excellent! I had to book last minute because my other Rover Sitter cancelled, and she was able to quickly make a stop in visit to meet my cat. I received pictures and updates about everything that was going on. It just made my vacation so much more relaxing knowing that I had someone as attentive as Stephanie watching my cat!”

“Jeffrey was a wonderful sitter for our three cats. He did everything we asked and more. He came by for an orientation and was warm and gentle with the cats. He kept everything clean and truly cared about an appropriate environment for our cats. He visited twice in one day and heated up the cats' food, even though we did not ask. He sent photos and messages. We could not have been happier. Thank you, Jeffrey!”

“Kerri and Harry were so good with our two cats Rambo and Chunk. A couple of days before they came to take care of them, one of them got an eye infection and they were able to give him the medication that he needed. We came back from our 5 day trip to a healthy cat and clean house!”

“Our cat seemed to do very well with Dana's care. Her schedule was flexible and she kept us updated and provided pictures that made us feel well connected. When we arrived home every thing was perfect and there were no issues to deal with.”

About: Our journey as a professional pet sitter began 3 years ago, and since then we loved it! We are experienced in providing care and love to a variety breeds, sizes and ages of the fur babies. Our furry guests will have the privileges of enjoying the gentle care along with the routine walks, bonding activities and musical entertainment in a clean and affectionate home. I am a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible for watching your fur babies. If I need to go out and run errands, I take the furry guests with me. We have 2 caged-in bunnies, and it's quite a surprise that they are not afraid of dogs! The bunnies can be relocated to upstairs if needed. Your fur babies will have supervised play in the backyard, and we always make sure to keep our house organized for safety reason. Please let us know your instructions from the vet for any special needs.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for a few years now and still occasionally take care of family dogs! I love spending time with pets! I work part time only, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I can be very flexible and attentive to your animal’s needs! I have a gated backyard and an open front yard. I take animals on long walks and to dog parks as well! I have treats for them and can use whatever you provide whether it be food, bedding, or toys!
About: I am an experienced sitter in bucks county who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup. I take any opportunities to cuddle and go on fun adventures with dogs. Some people have told me I’m a dog whisperer at times… I have yet to prove them wrong lol All about balance, long walks, trips to the park… but just as happy curling up on the couch for some quality R&R time. Whatever mix your pup loves, I’m ready to match it Your pup’s safety is priority one! Our home has a fully fenced yard, so there’s plenty of secure space to run and play. And we’ve got a two-goldendoodle welcoming committee — Piper and Paisley — who make sure every new pup feels like part of the pack from day one, not just ‘watched.’ If I’m caring for your pup in your home instead, that same standard applies: I’ll treat your space with the same care and attention as my own, making sure your pup sticks to their normal routine and feels safe and comfortable the whole time.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Newtown
Carol is wonderful to work with. She came over before I left on a trip to make sure everything was ok, check on the animals and any special needs they may have had and get the key in advance to ensure no problems. She was able to easily care for my cats and even cleaned up when one of the cats was violently sick outside the litter box. She sent pictures of both animals at every visit (2X a day for over a week) and helped assuage any anxiety I had about leaving them. 10/10 - absolutely trustworthy and able to care for elderly and even younger cats.

Laura was incredibly responsive and communicative from the start, and she was willing to take care of my dog on very short notice. My dog was well cared for and happy when I returned. I truly appreciate her flexibility and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Kayla is wonderful! She’s a warm, caring person who truly loves animals, and she really made an effort to bond with my cat (who is a sweet but very shy boy!) without overwhelming him. Kayla also did an excellent job of following detailed instructions (including setting an automatic feeder), and I really appreciated the photos and updates she provided while I was away. This was my first time using rover, and I feel so lucky to have found Kayla! I look forward to booking with her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
