“Kerri and Harry are incredibly attentive, patient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Daisy will be going back, so long as they'll have her.”

“Melissa was a wonderful dog sitter! This was the first time my one year old goldendoodle was being watched by a family member, but Melissa made sure not only Sammie felt comfortable, cared for, and loved, but also me! She sent daily text updates, plenty of pictures, and a video each day of my vacation. Sammie even was able to fall asleep with her in her bed similar to how she is at home. Sammie loved their dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. I highly recommend Melissa, Dan, and her family for watching dogs. You will feel at ease knowing your pup is in wonderful, loving hands :)”

“Angela and her family took great care of our 2 year old Bichpoo mix. She was in constant communication and sent photos daily. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs! Will definitely be using her for future trips .”

“Excellent, excellent experience. Joe and Bonnie are warm, welcoming true dog-lovers who lavished affection on my Sona and made her feel right at home. I could go on and on about what an exceptional experience this was, but I selfishly want to keep them all to myself! ; )”

“Absolutely WONDERFUL. I literally have no words to describe how amazing Traci and Jeffery’s care was for Apollo. They are so sweet and kind and treated my dog as their own. They kept me updated on his activities and behaviors. They were so incredibly accompanying to his medical needs. They are such lovely people to talk with as well. They are very communicative and on top of the job. If you need care for your dog. Hire Traci and Jeffery!”

“Roseanna and her sons took very good care of our fur baby. I went on Rover and she was the 1st name that popped up with great reviews. I contacted her 2 days before Christmas Eve. I needed services for 1 night - Christmas Eve and a pick up on Christmas day. Roseanna is very nice and accommodating. Kobe will definitely visit again very soon. Thanks again! :)”

“Nikolaj kindly watched Luna during a difficult time in my life and I was confident that she was treated well. Nikolaj is very gentle and calm, which balances my high energy puppy.”

“Kathleen was great. We were nervous leaving our dog for 4 days but Kathleen and her family were great with her. She sent us alot of updates and pictures which was very reassuring!”

“Great communication, very pleasant and best of all took great care of our dog. He had a great time and we were kept up to date with how he was doing and what he was up to. Would happily book with them again!!”

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for a few years now and still occasionally take care of family dogs! I love spending time with pets! I work part time only, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I can be very flexible and attentive to your animal’s needs! I have a crate I can use for your pet, a gated backyard and an open front yard. I take animals on long walks and to dog parks as well! I have treats for them and can use whatever you provide whether it be food, bedding, or toys!

About: We treat pets like part of the family, not just a quick drop-in. One thing that really sets us apart is the environment we can offer — we have a fully fenced 1-acre backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise and attention. My boyfriend and I are both huge animal lovers, and while we both work, I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for more supervision and time with your pet throughout the day. We’re also home on weekends, so pets will not be left alone for long periods. We currently do not have any pets of our own, which can be especially helpful for dogs who prefer a calmer environment or are not comfortable around other animals. We’re patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. Pet care fits easily into our routine because we genuinely love having animals around. I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We’re also home most weekends and have a fully fenced 1-acre yard where dogs can safely run and play. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In our home, pets are treated like family and kept in a calm, clean, and supervised environment. We have a fully fenced 1-acre yard for safe outdoor time and always make sure pets are monitored during play and potty breaks. We follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special needs, so pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. We also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

“We left our 11 month old lab/border collie with Monika for the first time. It was an emergency and an over night stay. She was very accommodating and left us feeling at ease after we dropped off our pup. Monika sent us multiple texts and pictures too to keep us posted on how our pup was doing. We will definitely us her services again soon.”

“We are very happy with Teddi’s stay with Mariia. She was very communicative and sent daily pictures. Mariia took excellent care of our pet. I highly recommend her and Teddi will return again!!”

“We had such a great first experience with Rover thanks to Ryan and his wife! They took wonderful care of our dogs overnight while we were at a wedding and kept us updated with lots of photos and messages — our kids loved every one of them! We’re so grateful and can’t wait to book with them again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Newtown
Just picked our dog up from another stay with Melissa and Dan and it’s so clear to us how well cared for and happy he is in their care. We received regular updates and photos throughout our stay which were so helpful. And we can tell he has a great relationship with their family and dogs. Highly recommend.

Angela and her family took care of our dog perfectly in their home. She was an excellent communicator. She sent pictures and updates daily. She was cautious and caring about everything. We appreciated her bringing Bear home to our house at the end of his stay. It sounded like Bear had a great time too!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
