“Roseanna took great care of Sunshine and was great to deal with. She was friendly and easy to communicate with and sent photos so we knew Sunshine was doing well!”

“We feel so very fortunate to have had Joe and his wife Bonnie care for our 13 year old Westie, Ozzy, for 9 days. They sent updates and pictures and made us feel comfortable and confident that Oz was in great hands during this extended stay. They are true dog lovers and our sweet Oz had a very nice stay with them. Thanks so much Joe and Bonnie!”

“This was our first time using Rover. We always had a family member watch our dog so we were nervous trusting someone else. Traci and Jeff went out of their way to make our dog feel like part of their family. Pictures were sent twice a day with a brief update. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are good people.”

“Kerri & Harry always do a great job with Layla! It's always obvious how much Layla enjoy spending time with them and how well Kerri & Harry take care of Layla.”

“Kathryn did a wonderful job with our somewhat anxious and possibly spoiled furball! She was so welcoming and willing to work with us from drop off timing to special food instructions and she communicated with pictures and notes regularly! I don’t know who enjoyed their time away more, the dog or the humans! Thank you for taking such good care of Cookie! 🐾❤️”

About: We treat pets like part of the family, not just a quick drop-in. One thing that really sets us apart is the environment we can offer — we have a fully fenced 1-acre backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise and attention. My boyfriend and I are both huge animal lovers, and while we both work, I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for more supervision and time with your pet throughout the day. We’re also home on weekends, so pets will not be left alone for long periods. We currently do not have any pets of our own, which can be especially helpful for dogs who prefer a calmer environment or are not comfortable around other animals. We’re patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. Pet care fits easily into our routine because we genuinely love having animals around. I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We’re also home most weekends and have a fully fenced 1-acre yard where dogs can safely run and play. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In our home, pets are treated like family and kept in a calm, clean, and supervised environment. We have a fully fenced 1-acre yard for safe outdoor time and always make sure pets are monitored during play and potty breaks. We follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special needs, so pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. We also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

“Junior is absolutely amazing! He’s always willing to watch my dog Blaze, even at the last minute, which I really appreciate. Blaze loves spending time with him, and I can always tell he’s well cared for and happy when I pick him up. He gives multiple updates and pics which make me feel at ease. I highly recommend Junior to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter!””

“Jeffrey was my first time using Rover for my dog, Darcy. Jeffrey sent me updates and pictures that really helped me feel good about the care and responsibility he undertakes while watching others' furry family members. I was very pleased with Jeffrey and will definitely use him again if the need arises. Thank you, Jeffrey!”

“Archie spent 6 days with Angela & Michael. Angela is very good with updates and pictures…Archie always enjoys his visits and I it’s nice to know he’s well taken care of. Will use again”

“Gabriela was awesome! I really appreciate the updates she provided and relayed concerns in regard to Milo. Milo is a tri-pod senior dog who requires patience and a lot of care and Gabriela delivered at 110%! This is the 1st time a left Milo with someone other than family and Gabriela now is a part of that circle. I will definitely use Gabriela again!”

“Cindy was absolutely amazing with my Charlie! Sent updates and pictures throughout his stay! He came home a very happy boy and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend, and Will be booking again!”

“Kathleen was more than accommodating to my dog axel. She took us on as a last minute booking and communicated with us for axels entire stay! She sent tons of pictures and axel genuinely looked so happy to be there. He loved running in her big back yard and going on nice walks with her everyday. She had tons of toys for him to play with as well. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be using her again! We are so glad we found her.”

“Lauren provided EXCELLENT boarding services for Rocky. From the meet and greet, drop off and pick up. She sent photos and communicated several times a day. I was totally relieved with Lauren. I almost felt guilty that I wasn’t worried.😂 I would use Lauren again with no hesitation!”

“Could not have been more wonderful. I had a pretty last minute boarding request for Mariia - my corgi was going to stay with a family member who turned out to not be feeling well enough to take care of him. I feel so lucky that he spent the time with Mariia. She sent updates and photos daily and he was clearly in love with her! Thank you Mariia!!”

“Ryan watched our girl for 12 days while we were away. We appreciated the daily pictures he sent us and that he let us know how she was doing. Our girl must have been nervous because she had accidents while we were away, which is unlike her. She wore her reusable diapers from then on, which was less than ideal. However, given the circumstances it’s understandable, and she appeared safe, which is what mattered most to us while we were away.”

“Heather had her hands full with my 7 month old lab/husky puppy. She accepted the challenge and took great care of Meadow. I appreciated the updates and pictures. Would highly recommend Heather as a pet sitter.”

“A great set up and very responsive! Marie cared for our (very an a very anxious and codependent )pup while we were away for a weekend and provided regular updates with pictures and videos. We will most definitely use her again!!”

“Kelly is awesome. While we were away, a family emergency caused us to have to extend our stay, and Kelly didn't flinch in watching Hazel for several extra days. Very cool!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holland
Joe and Bonnie were wonderful caregivers to my dog Lulu. She has never stayed away from me before and they sent me pictures of her playing and being loved by them. I felt I could relax and not worry about her. They are very special people. I will definitely ask them to take her again.

Excellent sitter. Our dog is a senior (15 years old Shiba Inu), who doesn’t really have much hearing or sight left plus doggie dementia. Most times she just wants to naps or be left alone, and a really great appetite. It’s extremely hard to find a sitter that knows how to identify what works for her regardless of how much notes we write. Jia is experienced, intuitive, and great communicator. She was able to gauge what our dog style was pretty early on. Can’t recommend her and her family enough.

My Jack Russell was very, very well cared for and loved at Evgenia’s home. He takes medication and can be a bit challenging in new environments and his needs were met with ease. Their home is welcoming to dogs and they were very responsive and flexible when my flight was delayed. Sushi stayed for 5 days and I didn’t worry at all. Couldn’t be happier with Evgenia and family!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
