Ours is a very sensitive dog, very attached to us and pretty sure he suffers of separation anxiety, so he was very stressed and sad the first day, he even acted aggressively for the first time to other people, but they were very understanding of his situation and emotions and by the next morning he was himself again, the whole family interacted with ShiZhu and made him feel at home, loved and well cared.”

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

About: I grew up with two dogs (a German Shepherd and a Bichon Frise). They were the sweetest boys to ever exist!! I do not currently have any pets because I don’t think I could handle the loss. But, I have been pet sitting other people’s pets for over 5 years outside of rover. I have pet sit both cats and dogs :) I’m currently working full time remotely. So I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do travel for work so there may be some weeks that I will not be available but that will all be noted on my calendar. I have a fenced in yard. Pets in our house are allowed inside and on furniture. If you request it I will crate your dog. I have a little sister who is 10 and she loves animals just as much as I do and respects their space but I do require all pets I take care of to be kid friendly.

I used to work full time at a bakery, but I would love more than anything to care for animals full time so I'm aiming to achieve that right now! I also volunteer at a cat shelter twice a week in my spare time :) I have three long haired cats and a goldendoodle that I love dearly. I'm comfortable around pets of all shapes and sizes, no breeds make me nervous. I'm able to give oral medication and have done this for clients before. My one cat even gets an inhaler! She was a Pitbull mix and the sweetest girl, unfortunately she passed away about 2 years ago. I have since rescued another pittie named Yang and he is full of energy and always keeps me on my toes. While I have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout the years I have also cared for friends dogs and my sisters own cat. I have experience working with dog's of all sizes as my friends dog who I would often watch for them was a Bull Mastiff. My sister's cat can be temperamental at times so I also have experience with feisty animals. While I can not watch dogs in my own home, I would be more than happy and responsible going to someone's home to care for their precious fur baby. I am responsible and will be considerate when entering someone's home. I work full time Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30 pm. I would be available for drop in visits and walks anytime after 6:00 pm though the week. I am off on weekends so I would be available throughout the day. I am also off on all major holidays so would be available on those days as well. I love taking my fur baby on walks when it is nice out and love playing with my fur baby and his toys while inside as well. I am responsible and can attend to any needs that you have for your pet.

I have owned several kinds of pets during my lifetime including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, ferrets and rabbits. I volunteer with a local shelter bottle feeding newborn kittens. I am an active person and I would enjoy walking your dogs to help drain their energy while you are at work or away. I am able to give medications and care for sick and injured pets. please consider me for your pet care needs. I am currently available during the day Sunday through Saturday. I can provide services for dog walking, cat care and exotic pet care. I have experience working with most animals and would love to care for your pet. I am able to come to your home to let your dog outside or take them for a walk, feeding, cat care and exotic pet care.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am not afraid of having to meet any specific pet needs in order to make your dog feel loved and in order to make you feel at ease that your loved pup is in my care! While I work at a school, my summer schedule is very open - which means I am readily available for when you and your family need to go on vacations, day trips, etc.! Dogs that I care for each get treated with respect and love as if they were my own. I will ensure that all necessary needs are met as well as any additional request as best I can! I consider my own dog as my child, and treat all other dogs the same.
About: I treat every pet as if it were my own. I’ve owed three dogs in the past years , two of which were rescues. I worked at a greyhound shelter in the past. I grew up with a cat as child and always been drawn to animals. My house is pet friendly and is a three story row house with a fenced in yard, on a quiet block. I love taking care of animals and will make sure your pet is treated with love and respect! My dog is a friendly and playful Jack Russell mix who loves his walks. My goal is to provide love and company for your pet when you can’t be with them. Whenever I go to someone’s house with pets, they instantly become my best friend!

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”
