About: Despite being an dog lover for as long as I could remember, I didn't get to own a dog until 2021! Although I'm a little late to the game, owning my dog has taught me so much about dog behavior and animal nutrition. My pup is reactive so I have taken numerous training classes to help him, and I'm actively working on these issues, meaning not only do I have experience with reactive dogs, but I've also gained a ton of knowledge and information about canine behavior and training. I've also fostered puppies for my local dog rescue several times, so if you are having trouble with your new pup, I can take that stress off of you! I'm currently a full-time remote employee, which makes it incredibly easy for me to give your dog my attention if your pup stays with me, and/or house sit for ya! I do have a pup of mine at home, so any house sitting will need to be booked at least a week in advance, but other than that, I am available most days of the week for day cares and boarding! Safety is the number priority in my house so with that being said, if you decide to have your pup stay with me, I will keep them separated from mine! It will be a crate and rotate situation, just to keep both dogs and humans safe, but don't worry, they will get tons of exercise and treats when out! I have a fenced in yard at my home so if your pup loves to run around, they will get lots of it! But if they prefer walks, my neighborhood is quiet and has lots of smells for your pup to take in!
About: I started to fully take care of dogs in 2022, I got my first dog as an adult. He was a reactive Coonhound that only really bounded with me. Unfortunately, two years after we got him, he got cancer. Now we own 2 high energy, loves everybody puppies. So I know how to handle reactive dogs, sick dogs, high energy, lazy, everywhere in between. I work from home and have a flex schedule. So I am pretty accommodating to whatever time you need to drop your dogs off. I do travel sometimes throughout the year but for a majority im in the area. I have a a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. They love to play and make new friends. I will walk them and play with them outside. I also have playpens, so if your dog needs a little place of their own, I can make that happen.

“Hardy cared for our two standard poodles for 11 nights - this was our first time using Hardy's services (and our first time using Rover), so we were nervous initially. Upon meeting Hardy, we instantly felt comfortable and at ease with leaving our babies with him. His love for and knowledge about animals is very apparent. His home is meticulously clean and organized. He has a large, beautiful, fenced yard for our dogs to enjoy. He sent pictures and/or videos daily and provided reassurance that our babies were doing well. Also, he accepted our booking last minute, as the initial dog sitter we booked cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. Our dogs bonded with Hardy and though they were happy to see us when we returned, we could tell that they would miss Hardy too. We feel blessed to have had him care for our babies. Highly recommend!
