About: I’ve had experience with dogs my entire life. Growing up, my family owned two Labrador Retrievers, a Boxer, and a Mastiff, giving me hands on experience with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and care needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve provided overnight care for dogs ranging from miniature Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I am passionate about animal safety, comfort, and well being, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines to help pets feel secure while their owners are away. While I do not have formal training, I have experience caring for dogs at all life stages, including senior dogs. I am comfortable administering medications as directed and paying close attention to any changes in behavior, appetite, or health. My goal is always to provide loving, reliable care and give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away. My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. I am available during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Because I am not currently working another job, I can spend significant time with your pets and accommodate a variety of schedules. For house sitting assignments, I can typically spend several hours with your pets throughout the day and will ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and care. Should my availability change in the future, I will promptly update my Rover calendar so pet owners always have accurate scheduling information. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my home because I have a senior dog of my own. However, I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, and I am committed to following each pet owner’s instructions and routines as closely as possible. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to learn their schedule, feeding routine, exercise requirements, and any special care instructions. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress free environment while their owners are away. Having cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including senior dogs and dogs requiring medication, I am comfortable handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly. If an emergency were to arise, I would prioritize the pet’s safety, follow the owner’s emergency instructions, and maintain clear communication throughout the process. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, attentive care that gives owners peace of mind.

“Alex is the best! I hurt my knee and needed someone to walk my large pittie last minute. Alex was nice enough to work him into his schedule even though we have not worked with him before. My dog Alfie tends to pull in a leash and while he loves people, he can sometimes be picky about who walks him. However, he LOVES Alex and Alex does a great job of controlling Alfie on a leash. Thank you so much for your help!”

About: Hi, I’m Joelle! Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a pet-loving family, and even though I couldn’t have cats or dogs as a child due to my dad’s allergies, I had the joy of caring for a variety of small pets, from mice and rats to guinea pigs and rabbits. These early experiences sparked a lifelong love for animals. As an adult, I had the amazing opportunity to live on a horse breeding farm for six years, where I helped care for horses, assisted laboring mares, and supported foal care. Earlier in life, I took horseback riding lessons, which was an experience that sparked my love for horses and gave me a strong foundation in animal handling. These years on the farm deepened my hands-on experience with animals in all stages of life. Today, I share my home with three wonderful cats, including my beloved PUMA, who is truly the center of my world. I’ve worked as a pet sitter and walker and have cared for animals of all ages, from young puppies on their very first day home to beloved senior dogs and special needs pets. I’ve administered oral medications for pets, and I have experience caring for diabetic cats, including giving insulin injections safely and calmly. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, or needs a bit of extra medical care, I’m here to provide thoughtful, attentive, and loving support. I also know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your pet, which is why I keep pet parents updated with messages, photos, and fun little stories about our time together. My goal is always to make your furry family member feel safe, loved, and totally at home. I’d be honored to care for your pet and treat them like one of my own! I’m currently available full-time, which means I have the flexibility and focus to give your pet all the attention they need. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feedings, or just some good company, I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and provide consistent, loving care. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and familiar environment where they can feel at ease. I respect their space and routine, and I take the time to get to know their unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I provide calm, attentive care with lots of love. I also keep pet parents in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I grew up with multiple dogs, and have routinely taken care for my parents' dog when they vacation. I love meeting new animals and seem to have a sixth sense for making sure they're comfortable and happy! I'm currently a virtual student, so I have time to work and am good to travel to watch pets or watch them at my own home. At my home, I have one medium-large dog that loves to play and cuddle. I'm comfortable with bringing friendly animals home or watching more sensitive animals at the client's home.

Whether it be going on walks, playing fetch, or giving them love and attention, I’ll make sure your dog is safe and well cared for. I am currently a college students with a very flexible schedule. I only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, however I am still available before, in between, and after class. I have experience with crate training and walking all kinds of dog breeds. “While Melanie was walking my small dog, a large dog escaped its fence and attacked both Melanie and my dog. Melanie, unconcerned for herself, picked up my dog and fended off the large dog sustaining bites herself. She handled the situation very professionally and made sure my dog was safe and secure before getting medical treatment herself. I will forever be grateful to her and would recommend her services to anyone who wants a dog walker who goes above and beyond.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Southampton
Our senior dog does not do well with strangers. Recently, moving away from family, we had no other choice but to turn to Rover. I booked a last-minute trip, and Sarah immediately responded to my request. She took the time to communicate with me about our senior dogs’ needs before officially confirming our booking. I felt completely comfortable having Sarah provide drop-in visits while we were away. Sarah was incredibly timely, reliable, and communicative—far exceeding any expectations I had going in. Most importantly, we wanted our senior dog to feel safe and comfortable. Throughout Sarah’s visits, each photo she sent showed a noticeable change in him, from being uncertain and cautious at first to becoming genuinely excited to see her. That’s when I knew we had chosen the perfect person to care for him while I was away. I will absolutely use Sarah again for any future services for our pup!

Hands down the best dog walker/sitter. I highly recommend Jenna with your fur baby. My fur son is particular and wary of new people and he immediately loved Jenna after the first day. She has a good energy and is patient with your fur baby. Happy to have found her, will book again.
