“Holly was great with our 14-year old labradoodle. She was able to accommodate a last minute request as well as make Cricket feel at home, despite the fact that our senior dog is very attached to us.”

About: I have experience raising and training a dog from early puppy-hood to 2 years old. Since then, I joined Rover in May of 2021 but then took a break after getting our own dog. We still helped watch our friend’s dogs but more recently decided to use the Rover app again. My husband and I, currently live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with an outdoor deck and back yard (unfenced). I will make sure to work closely with you to maintain your dog’s eating/exercising/sleeping schedule as consistent as possible to hopefully make their stay with me as comfortable and stress-free as possible! I’m also easily reachable and will send as many picture updates as you would like so you know your fur baby is taken care of. I make sure to understand your dog's needs and quirks and I make sure to keep the apartment clean and free from any choking hazards. We will also make sure to wear reflective materials or have a flashlight with us for any walks after sunset. We will make sure to understand ahead of time any concerns you may have and make sure they are addressed to the best of our ability. To ensure the best stress-free experience for you, your fur baby, and me, I do ask that your pupper is house trained, potty trained, crate trained (for when we need to go into the office for work) as well as leash trained. I typically will wake up around 7am to get ready for the day but am willing and happy to wake up earlier to take your pupper out for a quick bathroom break. We try to fit in at least 3 daily walks and can send picture updates during the day. During the weekends, we try to go on a longer walk somewhere or go to the local park. We always make sure to put the leash on before opening the door before our walks. We also like to make sure they are supervised at all times. My husband and I work mostly remote and so we will be able to keep your fur baby company throughout the day and ensure the routine that your fur baby is accustomed to is maintained during their stay with us! My dog, Duchess, gets along with dogs and will generally keep to herself. Any time her and your fur baby are together will be supervised whether they are playing or eating. Duchess does not resource guard but to ensure a calm feeding we can feed the dogs in different rooms.

“I'm really happy to have found David and Betsy, and their lovely dog, Henry. They were extremely welcoming, loving, and understanding of my high-spirited, rambunctious young dog. Their beautiful home and large fenced yard are totally dog-friendly. Taika came home relaxed and happy, which is all I could ask for. This visit was for doggie daycare, but I know we'll be back for boarding this year as well.”

“Sean has watched Penny a few weeks now & she is always super excited when we get there. He’s very attentive. Send follow up texts/photos of the day. I’d recommend Sean to anyone looking for a sitter. Great service! Thanks Sean!”

“I was very nervous to leave my puppy with a stranger, but we’re so happy we found Arianna! She is incredibly caring and loving. Toffee absolutely love her and is always excited to see her and spend time at her place. He always comes home happy and well cared for, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I also really appreciate how she keeps us updated with photos and messages—it makes all the difference when we’re away from him. At this point, Arianna doesn’t feel like a stranger anymore—she’s become part of the family, and Toffee truly loves her company.”

About: I have had dogs almost my entire life. I have been pet sitting on dog vacay and rover for the last several years , before my dog Dora passed away two years when she was 14 years of age. I stopped pet sitting , and was grieving for a while. I am now ready to get back to dog sitting , and want to experience joy of pets again, even if on a temporary basis. I have two children , 8 and 4, and they have been exposed to dogs and cats until recently . We want to have a chance to play with doggies again, and love them! At the moment I am unemployed, and home with my 4 year old. A dog would easily fit in our daily routine, as the dog parents require. I live in a condo association, on the third floor. I do not have a yard, but I will be able to walk your doggie.
