“Was a great help walking my dog! Did stuff as simple as turning the TV back on her for her when she left which means so much. Would book again!”

About: I've had pets and been taking care of pets ever since I was a child. I've had several years experience dog-sitting other's dogs as well. I love spending time with animals - I love dogs, puppies, and all pets in general! I would love to play and love on your pet and provide them the care that's best for you and them. I'm very attentive and can give your pet the attention and time that he/she needs. I will love playing, walking, and spending time with your pet. I also have a puppy so will probably bring a friend for your dog to walk or play with! I’m currently working from home, so have some additional time to take care of your pup! I’m currently in school/working from home, so have time to give to your pups! I’m available on most weekends and during the week, just let me know what you need! I have a friendly 4 year old golden retriever who loves meeting new friends and is always ready to play!! She loves walks, play time, and exploring the back yard and would love to do so with your pups!

About: I have been a pet owner for several years and they are apart of my family. I would love the opportunity to help you care for your babies as well. My schedule is very flexible. I do work Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 but would be available to do drop ins before or after work and also available to board anytime during the weekend. I live in an apartment complex. I currently have one Lab that I love dearly. Her schedule is being walked three times a day and also lots of play time in the fenced in dog area. I will treat your babies the same way. If I come to stay in your home for care, I will follow any instructions you may have.

“Courtney was great with my furbaby. She was timely, professional, kind, dependable, and took good care of my baby on his walks. We look forward to working with her again soon. Great job!!!”

“Great communication and care of my fur baby!”

“My elderly dog is becoming extra cranky in her old age and although she’d met Allison before, my dog barked and growled more than usual when Allison arrived and Allison handled it like a champ. She gave my dog nothing but warmth and love (I, on the other hand was mortified and embarrassed, so I didn’t handle it as well). Seeing Allison do so well made me calm down as well, I’m so grateful for Allison’s kindness and grace.”

“Hannah was very sweet and everyone seemed happy when I got home! Her report of my doggo peeing repeatedly let us know a UTI was brewing and we were able to get vet care sooner. And she was very patient with having to clean up multiple puddles of pee that we above and beyond a normal dog walking duty!”

“Gabby helped us out with a last minute request, and put us completely at ease to leave our lil dog 🐕! Great pics and info while we were away. Five stars!”

About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

“Great Job! My baby was happy when I get back home!”

About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.

“Cody was awesome, communicative, and accommodating. He made my first Rover experience as easy as it could be!”

“Gracie is a fantastic Rover! She is very pleasant to work with and even helped me out last minute for a quick drop in to feed my four legged furry friend. Doesn’t disappoint with her walks either. She goes the distance to get your dog some good exercise! Will use as long as she around!”

About: I’ve had 1-2 dogs since the day I was born! I’ve never known life without a dog, so it is in my nature to care for them as family. I’ve helped raise my dogs from puppy to the end of life so I am well-versed in buds in any stage of life. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pups! I am available every day before 12:00 pm, a couple afternoons/evening every week, and weekends during the day. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I treat their space with the same care and respect as I would my own. I follow instructions meticulously while ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while the caretaker is away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I quickly became the go-to dog walker in the neighborhood. In college, I volunteered with the local humane society, where I spent time walking dogs and taking them on fun “puppy dates” every day. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—and animals tend to feel naturally safe and comfortable around me. More recently, I’ve also become a big cat person! I didn’t grow up with cats, but I adopted one two years ago and have absolutely fallen in love. Whether it’s a playful pup or a snuggly cat, I’m here to provide loving, attentive care while you’re away. I’m fully available all day, every day for walks, check-ins, or extended pet care. I’m going online school until August 26th and have a very flexible schedule! My home is very pet-friendly and a great environment for animals! I have one dog—an English Lab—who is sweet, well-behaved, and uses an electric fence. I also have a cat who gets along great with dogs. We live in a dog-loving neighborhood where people are always out walking their pets, and my dog has regular playdates with the neighborhood pups. It’s a fun, safe, and social environment for any visiting pets!

About: I've grown up around dogs of all sizes. Friends and family have consistently relied on me to feed, walk, play with, and medicate their pets. I always treat them as if they are my own. I'm a pet parent myself, so I know routine is important for our furry friends. I have a schedule that is constantly changing, but allows lots of flexibility to take care of your fur babies. One of the best ways to reduce stress of your fur baby is to leave them in a familiar environment. With that being said, I will exclusively go to others' homes for pet care. My goal is to keep their routine as close to normal as possible and keep them happy with their own things.

About: I have dog and cat sat before many times, for friends and family. I love animals so much, and will do my best to care for them well! I am free every single day of the week! I might have some conflicts along the way, but my only weekly conflict is church on Sunday's at 4 pm I pet and cuddle them, feed them, walk them and let them out to potty, or clean cat's litter box. I follow instructions and pay attention to detail!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember - growing up with at least 3 dogs at all times, I love being surrounded by all furry friends, and would love to create a bond with your pet! From big dogs to little and everything in between, I would love to provide your pet with the care, attention, affection they deserve. I’m currently working mornings at a O.Henry’s Coffee and could care for your pet anytime after 2 and sometimes earlier. I love to go on walks and hikes and would really enjoy having a furry friend to come along! I live in an apartment with a dog park and lots of room to play with and care for your pet. My roommate has one cat but he can be put up if need be. I can give baths, play outside, take your pet on walks/hikes and would be willing to do anything needed to properly help care for your pet.

Mallory E.
“Birch is the most conscientious and thoughtful person I know. Our dogs are family and she cares for them like family. Birch has been walking and caring for our dogs Cooper and Winston and we couldn't be happier! She treats them like her own—sending photos during walks, remembering their favorite routes, and even noticing when one seems a bit under the weather-even before we did. They get so excited when they see her that they wiggle their whole bodies! Birch is punctual, communicative, and genuinely loves what she does. We trust her completely and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their furry family member.”
