About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

From our meet and greet a few days ago to daycare today, Teresa has been nothing but kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming to my dog and my family. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years. I work remotely and have plenty of love to share with your pet. I have experience taking care of large breeds and senior dogs with medical concerns. I'm currently working remotely and have the time and attention to dedicate to your pet's needs. I offer boarding and pet daycare at my home any day of the week. I have a large fenced yard and a playful dog to keep your pet company. There is plenty of room to run and play. I've got comfy spots for them to relax. Plus I'm always here to give them time and attention.

About: I have trained, watched, worked with, handled, and loved on every temperament of pet from lovable couch potatoes, anxiety ridden, hospice care, and animals that do not do well with other people or animals for over 20 years. Through those years I have worked with rescues, dog shows, dog sports, and training and raising puppies and adults that have helped me to become an extremely understanding, patient, and proficient behaviorist and trainer I am to this day. Anything from walks, training, medical needs, behavioral needs, bathing, or just simple understanding is my expertise with animals, primarily dogs. I do have a full time job, however animal care is a top priority. I also have a partner (who is also verified on rover and a former veterinarian technician) that lives with me, which leaves me able to board, train, doggy daycare, or any need a family might need while seeking a pet sitter for their beloved pet/s. If your pet/s is boarding at my home, I have a fenced in yard with multiple types of animals that are all very well behaved and trained. I have a separate space in my kitchen for your pet/s or I do crate dogs at night time and place cats in a separate, closed area at night for your pet/s comfortability in a new environment. If I care for your pet/s at their home, they will have the comfort and safety of their regular routine at their home while you have the peace of mind that not only are your pet/s taken care of but so is your home while away. Following medical need instructions and able to administer any meds will be adhered to in the utmost manner. Whether your pet/s are at my home or yours for overnights, day time drop ins, or daytime doggy daycare they are treated with the highest level of patience and respect. Pet/s will also have numerous potty breaks, multiple walks if they need, and some good ol fashion playtime and love.

About: we have owned dogs, large and small for over 40 years. I have three small dogs of my own and they are well socialized and get along well with other dogs. We have a fenced in yard and a large home for your dogs to feel right at home. I am currently working from home. I have plenty of time to watch your fur babies. Weekdays ,weekends or overnights. We live 15 minutes from Metro airport. We spray our lawn for ticks and fleas. My dogs also receive flea and tick regiment. I have a fenced in yard and the dogs are able to roam where they want to. I can crate them if you would like.

About: I have a collie mix who is 8 years of age he is neutered and very calm, I have had experience caring for him along with other dogs that I have sat with over the years. Your dog is in good hands . I’m currently not working so I will have lots of time to play and let your dogs out. Let me know your schedule and I will do my best to stick to it. My yard is fenced but I will also keep a close eye on them. You can rest knowing your dog is taken care of, in the same manner you would take care of them

About: I have had animals ranging from fish to horses. I love cats and seem to bond with them right off the back, even the hesitant ones! Dogs and I match each other’s energy, we can run around playing fetch or we can be cuddle buddies. Animals are able to determine if a person is good or not so nice, lucky to say I have never been deemed a bad noodle by any animals I’ve been around. The best pupper (all are the best) tend to make my day bright, just as I plan to do theirs. Spending time with animals can also be therapeutic, so over the last few years I’ve found human companionship also helps them. With that being said, I can read many animals, their body language, and what they need just by watching them a few times ❤️ I am a school teacher during the school year, so summers are generally free time for me. I am hoping to help some families out while I have down time. This job allows me to spend time with my kids, which is something I find important. Respecting the clients house is a must for me. If there’s any needs the pupper/kitty needs, I will ensure I update the family. Walking dogs and letting them outside while on a schedule is my go to for making sure their energy is released in ways that’s not the clients couch!
