“Dea's love for animals is so obvious through the care, attention, and updates she sends. By the end of the week, she and my cat were great friends, and that's even after having to give him meds daily. I know in the future my kitty is in great hands now that Dea and him are pals.”

About: I'm a screenwriter from North Carolina who walks dogs professionally and has been volunteering at the local animal shelter since the pandemic. In high school, I shadowed a vet's office, so while I don't have an official degree, I do have a fair amount of medical knowledge. I've spent time with dogs, cats, and some farm animals for my entire life, and they've always been treated as members of my family. These days, I have a soul shelter dog named Olive. He's an 11-year-old Corgi mix, so I have plenty of experience with senior dogs who take medication! I truly love animals and would be honored to spend time with yours. Please know I'll put their comfort and care before anything else, and I'll communicate with you every step of the way, because I know that's what I want when I trust someone with my baby. I'm a writer who works entirely from home, so my schedule is completely flexible and I can work around your pet! Your baby's routine will become my routine when I'm taking care of them. If they need to go out every hour, then I'm happy to do that. If they prefer to snooze on the couch while I work for most of the day, then that's great too! I live in an apartment, but I have a large private patio space where your pet can play and run, should you want them to have access to this space. I also have two floors, so the apartment is very spacious and your pet can roam freely (again, if you want them to be able to!). If they aren't comfortable with stairs, the downstairs area is large and comfortable, and your pet is more than welcome to stretch out on the couch or futon if they like. Because I have a dog of my own, we have many toys and pet beds that your pet is more than welcome to share. If your dog wants to hang out with Oliver, then Olive would always love a friend. He's extremely chill and friendly. If your dog is more of a loner, then the second floor can become Oliver's temporary domain, and your pet can feel safe and comfortable on the first floor. Basically, I will work with your pet's needs and your preferences!

About: I’m a passionate animal lover with two dogs who are now at my parents house, so I understand how important it is to provide love, attention, and proper care. I have experience handling different personalities and needs, and I treat every dog like family. Whether it's playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved in my care. Pet care fits well into my schedule. I have school Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings, and Thursday nights, and I regularly help care for my roommate’s cat. I create a safe, calm environment with close supervision, follow all care instructions, and ensure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved—whether at my home or yours.

“Natalie was prompt and responsive. She was very approachable and knew just how to take care of our Jasper. Thank you for your professionalism and being so easy to work with!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life, from as young as 8 weeks to my sweet, old Doberman passing when she was 13. I am a hands-on caregiver that sees pets as members of our family and must be treated as such. Play time, walks, love, and attention are always a priority, and I live by the decree that every pet is a good boy/girl! I already care for my own dog at home, so daily feedings and walks are never an issue, just a part of the daily routine. Pets and affection are also a negotiable! I have a fenced in front and backyard (equipped with a dog-door) in my home as well as an open neighborhood that is very pet/walk friendly. I do not have my own crate but if one is needed and you have one I have experience with crate-training. Meal times are around the same times everyday so the pet knows what to be expected, and I have plenty of time to give your pup the exercise they need, and all of the energy to give them love. Living with me at home is my 3 year old large-sized mutt, but he is not territorial and LOVES to play with other dogs!

“Catherine is an absolute life saver!! When a friend cancelled last minute she was available in pinch to take care of my kitties. Her profile said she loved kitties and that it 100% true. They loved her instantly during the meet and greet and I knew they would be in good hands from that. Which is really important when I was out of the country for 3 weeks on the other side of the globe. I felt secure and could relax knowing they were well taken care of and got the attention they deserve. My cat Pepper was absolutely in love with Catherine. I might just have to book and day here and there so they can spend more time together.”

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs my entire childhood. I grew up with a pure breed pitbull and taken care of Labs, German Shepard, and mixed breeds. I also live with two cats. I love animals and they all love me! I usually have time during the days or afternoons and evenings available outside of work to be able to pet sit or take them on walks or potty breaks. You go in a vacation, I got your pet taken cared of. I always make it work and I’ll always be there. I always make sure they are well loved and well feed and taken cared of. I make sure they always have time to use the bathroom. I know pets love quality time so just being with them and making sure they are loved means everything to them. I’m all about pet cuddles.

About: I've had experience with training puppies, caring for elderly dogs, and even stretching and massage therapy for dogs. Anything that makes your dog happy makes me happy. I currently have a flexible schedule and am willing to drop-in/walk your dog at all times of the day. I am willing to accomodate your needs as a pet parent. I treat your dog as if they're my own. I know I have to gain their trust in the beginning, but I'm sure they will warm up to me in no time at all!

About: I have had pets all my life and they have brought so much joy into my life. Aside from the pets I've had growing up I have also taken care of multiple neighbor's dogs countless times while they were away. I know every dog is unique and they have different needs. I am very patient and I love caring, loving, and having fun with all creatures. I work Monday and Thursday mornings until 1pm and Tuesdays and Fridays until 3pm. I’m free in the afternoons and all day Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sadly my apartment does not allow dogs, and so because of that I’ve lived with cats for many years. I love all furry friends and am open to most personalities. I know each dog/cat is unique and has their own needs so I’m definitely able to adjust depending on the situation. Besides basic needs like feeding, and walking I am of course able to help with stimulating their minds and playing with them.

About: Experienced with all dog sizes & cats! As a rescue dog owner, I understand the importance of meeting a pet where they’re at to ensure comfort and happiness while in my care. I offer a decade of pet care from small terriers to large retrievers - cats too! If you only need me to check on the pet at night, I can do any day of the week after work! I work from home T,Th,Fri and can check on your pet whenever those days + weekends. I am happy to provide as much attention as they need to feel comfortable or take a step back as well! Some pets may want space and some may want to play nonstop, so I will follow yours and their lead. If your pet is comfortable and most successful being kenneled while alone, I am happy to do so!
