“Clare is incredible with Mr Pnut, she’s very caring and takes him on nice hikes that he loves. I have no concerns when I know he’s with her and that gives me great piece of mind.”

“Jade was wonderful and sweet with Harper! Excellent communication before and during the hour-long walk! Harper clearly had an amazing time and was nice and tired when they got back. I will definitely use Jade again!”

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

“Grace was very accommodating and communication was easy! Daisy seemed very happy with the walk. I appreciated that Grace was available to come a second time, when I realized we wouldn't be back until late. I would definitely use Grace again!”

“Catie has been amazing with our 2.5 year old coonhound mix! Tilly requires some positive reinforcement during her walks and Catie was generous enough to come a couple minutes early prior to their first walk to discuss the training methods we use with Tilly. She’s been on time and Tilly warmed up to her quickly. All around wonderful interactions!”

“Nikohl is fantastic with Harold. Every time she walks him, he runs over to her (and he has major separation anxiety). She loves dogs and is so kind. I also appreciate how punctual she is. When I am back this summer I will be a repeating client then too.”

About: I love animals and thoroughly enjoy spending time, walking, and caring for animals. I have had dogs since I was a child and have a lot of experience with a lot different of dog personalities. I currently work a great schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off so on the days I have off I can take your dogs for walks, check on them, feed them and provide them with excellent care! I live in an apartment but have access to trails right out my door. I am a very compassionate, clean, and friendly woman who will take care of your pet and will always do my best to meet you and your animals needs.

About: I am self employed and work from home so have plenty of time to give attention to your pup. I have a 13 year old dog named Bruce. He enjoys slower walks and hikes but I’m happy to do longer walks or runs with your younger dog. Bruce gets along with all dogs and I would prefer yours does too! I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play, etc with your dog. Just let me know what their activity level is, off leash guidelines, and any other quirks. My yard is on the Gore creek, not fenced in. My dog and other visiting dogs always play down by the creek. If your dog is not good off leash or you don’t want them near the creek, I will keep them on leash at all times.

“Melissa was fantastic! She was great with all the communication and how the dogs did during their walk including pictures. My two senior dogs are pretty needy, as one is not people friendly (rescue) and the other is not dog friendly. So they are quite the pair. Both dogs enjoyed their walk with Melissa and I will be booking her again. Highly recommend!”

“I had the pleasure to meet Andrew when I was staying in CO for a month on a cross country road trip with my dog, Pants. To say she is most my precious thing is an understatement. When I was forced to look for accommodations for her, I was so lucky to find Andrew. Not only is he an incredible animal lover and dog dad himself, he is a good, kind, honest person. Made me feel completely safe to leave my girl and she instantly knew she was in good hands. He communicated with me as much as I wanted and sent me pictures and videos of him and my girl having a great time. That meant everything to me. I highly recommend Andrew in every way. “Elena has watched my 13-year old dog Luka multiple times over the last few years. She is my first choice whenever she is available because I know that my dog will be treated like a member of the family. She regularly sends photos and updates while she is watching my dog, which I love because I can be confident that Luka is well cared for. She is an animal lover in the truest sense of the word- I love knowing that when I leave Luka with her, he will come home happy and content.”
