“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. About: My (Abi’s) family ran a pet sitting business for almost 5 years, scaling back after covid. We worked with every breed and temperament of dog, and also took care of cats and occasionally fish. My family adopted rescues from abusive situations, so I have a lot of experience working with/training fear reactive and aggressive dogs, as well as escape artists and bolters. Jordan grew up with animals, pet-sitting for friends and family, and has stepped into pet-sitting with me! Together, we have a 4 year old dog, Atlantic, and a rabbit, JJ! About: I have been taking car of all kinds of dogs for years. I've watched dogs from Labrador puppies to senior German Shepards. I've owned dogs my whole life and I've always had a special bond with them. Dogs usually gravitate towards me because I am a very fun and light hearted person. My friends often refer to me as a Disney princess because of how I am with animals. I belive all animals need love and respect and I always do my best to make them feel safe and loved. I am also certified in pet cpr and massage therapy incase a pet does get into distress or if they need some other help with pain. Over all my priority is always the health and safety of my client beloved pets.

Throughout the day, I can accommodate additional potty breaks, outdoor time in our fenced yard, feeding schedules, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and enrichment. In the evenings, pets are included in our family's relaxed routine, with more playtime, walks, and cuddles before bedtime. For boarding and daycare, dogs are rarely left unattended, and I only accept pets from one household at a time to ensure each pet receives personalized care and attention. I care for every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality. I understand that being away from their family can be stressful, so I strive to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. Dogs have access to our large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and because I am home throughout the day, they receive consistent attention and companionship. I only care for dogs from one household at a time, which allows me to focus on their individual needs and maintain a low-stress environment. For cats, I ensure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and attention at their comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, cuddles, or simply having a quiet and reliable caretaker, I respect their personality and routine. I am also comfortable following special instructions, administering medications when needed, and providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
