Theo was a rescue dog and he wasn’t treated well by his original family. He usually never leaves my side in new places. When we went to Christina’s he was Happy and walked away from me to explore. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and helped friends and family take care of their pets. I house-sat throughout college. And growing up, neighbors would frequently trust me to take care of their pets while on vacation. I’ve looked after a variety of dogs, large dogs (Rottweiler and Goldens) and small (Yorkies and other terriers). I love them all. I have experience with heartworm positive dogs as well as dogs who experience seizures. I only work part time, and complete education online for the time being so I am available with lots of free time for your furry friend! Special accommodations can be made for dogs who are not able to do either of those. == WALKS == While it is our goal to make sure each dog get proper exercise and socialization, we do not provide walks during boarding due to liability and risk factors involved with walks (dogs escaping from harness, eating something off the side walk, coming into contact with an unfriendly dog, etc). We do, however give them plenty of outdoor time with the other dogs or solo to socialize and play, which we find is ample exercise for the pups that stay with us. We understand vaccines are not bulletproof and that some illnesses may have an extended incubation period but we highly recommend the vaccines to create the safest experience. *Please know that we are unable to care for sick/contagious dogs. If your pup shows any signs of disease or illness, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure you receive a proper refund. If we discover that your pup is exhibiting obvious symptoms of disease with the first 12 hours with us, your dog will need to be picked up and no refund will be issued. I am a stay at home mama. I pick up and drop off my children at school and have the rest of the day free to help take care of your dogs. We live in a very clean two-story home, fenced in yard, and all the necessities required to properly care for your pets. And growing up, neighbors would frequently trust me to take care of their pets while on vacation.
