My experience caring for cats maybe less than my experience with dogs, but my love and care for them is no less! I have fostered kittens with Chesapeake Animal Services, and quickly found out that these adorable and agile little ones are a hoot! We are currently keeping my friends' mane coon tabby mix kitten (1 1/2 years old). He has been living with us since the beginning of June 2026. He is equal parts snuggle baby and mischief maker LOL wrapped up in the size of a bobcat LOL. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. My roomate and I often work together to care for your pets, so they won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds since I was a child. Any little creature, I would quickly take in and care for. The most precious of all was our sweet mini longhair black and tan dachshund - Willow (aka Snoozy and Lovey), who for 16 beautiful, snuggle-filled years, we were honored to be her mommy and daddy! We got her when she was just 8weeks old from some friends of ours, who's doxies had puppies, and she was our very heart for all those years. We sadly lost our baby November 11, 2025 at 16yrs old. Not a moment of every day doesn't go by where we do not think of her, remember her or talk about her. I am very experienced with the care, attention, and love these sweet babies need from puppies all the way up to senior care. Our baby-girl Willow developed CCD (canine cognitive dysfunction the last year of her life and my husband and I became extremely knowledgeable of the meds needed, traditional meds as well as herbal, along with the various adjustments that were needed with the focus of keeping her happy, comfortable and safe. This has helped me to be able to lovingly care for doggies of all stages of life and various needs. In February 2026, we began volunteering for Chesapeake Humane Society and Chesapeake Animal Services as foster parents. We wanted to share a loving home with animals who unfortunately, don't have what our baby girl had. I have also done pet sitting for quite a few of our friends over the years for a variety of doggies. My husband and I both work from home and our jobs are not stressful or overly demanding. So, it would not be an inconvenience or out of the norm for us to have a furry visitor during the week. Our weekends are a bit busier, but again our schedules are usually flexible, and with sufficient advance scheduling we have been able to sit for our friends, and foster dogs and cats successfully. In my home it is catered to each individual animal, we have a large kitchen area that we use as an introduction to our home, then if the dog or cat feels comfortable, we bring them upstairs with us to sleep in our upstairs hallway or our bedroom (either in their crate, or I have setup a sleeping area in our upstairs hallway with safety gates, also depending on the specific care, size of dog and age). I have never done client home care for pet sitting, but I plan on getting specific details from each client to know their individual pet's needs, comfort level, and any other details in order that their baby is safe, and happy.

I have experience providing medications as well as insulin injections for elderly diabetic dogs. I have recently adopted a dog of my own, Maxx, who is a 1 year old lab mix. My weekends are usually wide open and allow me much more time and freedom to go on walks and regularly take pets out for potty breaks. This allows me to work from your home and provide care to your animals on my scheduled breaks. My husband is a student so our schedule is flexible. Most nights we are in watching our favorite show. If we do go out, it will be for under a 4 hr period to make sure your pup doesn't stay alone too long and gets let out. If 4 hrs is too long, just let me know and I will make it shorter to accommodate! We only are available to come to your home as my home has a strict pet policy. I mostly prefer to do overnight stays, but my husband and I can accomidate some dog walking visits with our schedule. We are happy to do meet and greets before we stay! I have a remote-work schedule leaving flexibility to walk, play, cuddle, and care for your dog.
