She asked great questions before drop off and communicated the schedule at pick up so we could stay on schedule at home. She sent me several pictures while I was away so that I could see my fur baby. She let me know how she was adjusting to her environment from the moment she arrived. She shared that my senior dog wasn’t ready to get up when the rest of the family was ready, so they let her sleep in❤️. When my fur baby was leaving, she looked back at the door to see if Julie was coming with us. I look forward to my next trip because I know I can relax and not worry about my dogs’ care.”

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
“Absolutely wonderful! My spoiled and picky old man stayed with Lillian and Timothy for the first time, and I could not have asked for better and more considerate care. They cleverly found ways to get him to take his medication when he was being fussy with his usual turkey wraps. And they sent lots of pictures of him enjoying walks, having cozy naps, and getting plenty of attention and love. 10/10 recommend!”

It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. About: Hi, I’m Cheyenne, and I hope to be your beloved pets new caregiver. My goal is to give you the peace of mind that I as a pet parent would want while away. I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd, who I have been with through each stage of his life. This has allowed me to gain the experience to care for puppies, troublesome teenage dogs, and senior dogs as well. I have volunteered as a dog walker at my local humane societies since 2018 helping to further my experience with dogs of all personality types. You can expect clear communication, timely updates, and plenty of photos so that there is no worry in your mind while you are away from your pet. I am willing to be flexible with a schedule that works for you and your pet. I am an early riser so if you need a morning drop in or a walk, I would be happy to provide you that service. Given it is summertime I am also available for evening walks once the heat of the day has cooled down. About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have two small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.
About: I absolutely adore dogs! I’ve had dogs for as long as I remember so I’m very experienced with them. I did a lot of dog-sitting as well as a kid and still help out with my friends dogs as well. There will always be someone in the home to care for the dogs. My 16 year old daughter is also home and can let the dogs out too. She has grown up with dogs her whole life as well. I have a fenced yard and an easily accessible walking trail behind my house. I have crates if needed. Dogs are a part of our family and I treat them as such. They are allowed on furniture and beds. About: I have had a few dogs in my life now. From puppy stage all the way up to senior age there is truly nothing like bonding with dogs. Making them happy makes me happy. They really are the best. I work remotely so on top of caring for my own dog, I am able to help out anyone else who may need it since I can work when I need to. I have a fenced in yard that I let my dog out in on top of walking him three times a day. I would play with them to get them tired and then we can all relax and snuggle.

While I have not walked or sat much for others professionally yet, I bring decades of hands-on experience with my own pets—treating each one like family. I understand how important it is to keep dogs feeling safe, loved, and well cared for while their people are away. “This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
“Absolutely wonderful! My spoiled and picky old man stayed with Lillian and Timothy for the first time, and I could not have asked for better and more considerate care. They cleverly found ways to get him to take his medication when he was being fussy with his usual turkey wraps. And they sent lots of pictures of him enjoying walks, having cozy naps, and getting plenty of attention and love. 10/10 recommend!”

“Megan was amazing I recently boarded my rescue Prince for the first time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Megan took such amazing care of Prince during his two-night stay. She went above and beyond—sending me some of the best photos and videos I’ve ever had of him, including clips of him playing and socializing with larger dogs (which was a first for him!). It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. When I picked him up, it was clear he had an incredible time—he was almost sad to leave! He even made a new best friend with her dog, Kava. I’m so grateful for the care and attention Megan gave, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!”
