“This woman is an absolute angel! Took care of our boy last minute and provided the most gentle and loving care he has ever received from a sitter. She tended to his anxiety and really worked with him to help him get through it. She also provided advice for when he’s at home to help him further! We love booking with her!”
“I needed a special day care/boarding home for my young, tri-pawed dog. The first visit was a day care trial where my dog and Lisa's family and dog were able to really interact to see if this was a good fit. Very professional, patient and works well with my dog. Now, I know where I will be boarding her when I travel. Thank you.”
“Karol is exceptionally awesome. I have 2 little girls and she took care of them so well. Took them out for multiple walks and to the park to play. Made them feel at home. I really appreciated that. I most certainly will use her again and do recommend giving her a try.”

About: We have years of experience caring for older dogs, anxious pups (non-reactive), and high-energy breeds. We specialize in creating calm, consistent routines that help pets feel safe and relaxed. Whether it’s medication schedules, enrichment activities, or just quiet snuggle time, we tailor each stay to your dog’s unique needs. I work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 40-minute commute each way. During those hours, my husband Timothy—who’s a full-time stay-at-home father—is home to provide consistent care, potty breaks, and companionship. We coordinate closely to ensure your dog’s routine stays steady throughout the day. Morning and evening walks are part of our rhythm, and we love visiting local pet-friendly parks and walking trails for fresh air and enrichment. Weekends offer even more flexibility for longer outings and extra snuggle time. We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s specific schedule and energy level. Our home is a safe, dog-friendly apartment in South Norfolk/Chesapeake area. We host only one client at a time to ensure personalized care. Timothy and I are experienced with oral medications and have a background working with anxious dogs. Our space includes a gentle cat, two kids, and plenty of cozy corners for rest and play.
“Shannon was friendly and very caring with Kirby at our meet and greet and for his daycare stay. She gave me an honest, detailed report when I picked him up. Her communication was great! Will be booking again next week!”

“You can tell she loves dogs. Autumn cared for our pup with love and understanding, and made sure she got her walks and play time in. Riley was tuckered out on the way home and looked like she wanted to go back for more day care! We will definitely be booking with Autumn again. Thank you!”

“Daisy had a great time with Cassandra and Tradd. She had a fun time playing with noodle and macaroni as well as their two children. Very thankful we found them and absolutely intend on reaching out the next time we are going out of town!”

“Aramae was great with my large Lab. My doggie daycare request was short notice, but she was able to accommodate us, giving me peace of mind that my dog was well cared for when I headed into the office.”

About: Animals have always been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always dogs and cats around, caring for them wasn’t just a responsibility, it was part of daily life. Over the years, I have personally raised and cared for three dogs of my own, each with different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, structure, and how to connect with animals on an individual level. Most recently, I adopted another dog into the family, adding even more joy and playful to the house. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have experienced it all training, playtime, feeding routines, crate care, walks, and of course, lots of cuddles. Whether your pet is shy or social, active or relaxed, we understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have a partner who has been pet sitting for her friends and co-workers last 4 years. I work at shipyard, but my work is pretty flexible that I can check out our dogs or any other pet frequently to make sure they receive enough attention love and most importantly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where dogs can relax and be themselves. I have a fully fenced big yard for safe outdoor play, and I supervise all interactions to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to crate preferences and bedtime habits — so they feel right at home. I never use harsh corrections; instead, I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance. I also keep my home clean, pet-proofed, and free of anything unsafe. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we make sure they always feel safe, respect. I will keep sending regular updates and pictures or videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands
About: I have rescued pets all my life. I am currently a cat owner, but I am experienced with large-breed dogs. I have researched the needs of various dog breeds. I am experienced with administering medications. I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your pet behind when going out of town. I will take great care of your fur baby. I work remotely. I can visit a client's home to feed their dog or cat. Scoop litter boxes, give a dog a potty break. If a client is okay with a drop-off service, their fur baby and I can keep each other company, and they will be fully supervised. When I care for dogs in my home, they have full supervision, and we keep each other company. They are put out for potty, and we have some play time. We have a large yard. I will keep to the client's schedule for feeding and medication (if applicable). Dogs that I care for in my home must be cat-friendly. When visiting a client's home, their dog will be given a potty break immediately and have playtime. I will sit with them during meal time and clean up as needed. Fresh water will be made available. Large dogs, such as Mastiffs and Great Danes, should not have vigorous play time within an hour of a meal, so we will sit and chill. For cats, we'll have some playtime. Litter boxes will be scooped 2x each day, food and fresh water will be made available. Meds will be administered, if applicable, based on the client's schedule.

Western Branch South dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rosemary is absolutely amazing. It was my first time leaving my baby with anyone and I was super nervous. Rosemary was so patient with me and was so helpful at explaining the whole process. My pup was super happy and comfortable in her home, she sent me updates and pictures throughout the day and that made me feel at ease. I will definitely be contacting Rosemary in the future to take care of my pup!
