About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have two small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.

About: I have been around dogs since I was about 8 years old and have experience with both small and large breeds. I have owned 4 dogs myself and caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. Each member of my household has experience with cats and dogs and would be excited to show yours some love and attention up close or far away! I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and comfort levels whether inside your home or mine.

I treat my dogs like my own children and I know how difficult it can be to find someone who cares for your pets the same way you do, but I promise you that I will care for your pets in the same way I care for my own! I am currently not working, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet(s). Whenever you need me, I will be there. I am comfortable doing whatever you need me to do in order to take care of your pets. I can give your pets any medications they might need as well as tender loving care.

I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer to do a meet and greet before boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.
