“You can tell she loves dogs. Autumn cared for our pup with love and understanding, and made sure she got her walks and play time in. Riley was tuckered out on the way home and looked like she wanted to go back for more day care! We will definitely be booking with Autumn again. Thank you!”

About: Hello! I come to Rover with over 40 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve spent my entire life around animals, and for over 30 years (beginning as a volunteer at age 14 with my local wildlife museum), I’ve worked hands-on with animals in a variety of settings. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love and feel deeply connected to. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and little quirks, and taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe, comfortable, and happy is what makes me an exceptional pet sitter. Whether it’s keeping up with your furry family member's familiar routines (such as going for walks, play, and mealtimes) or simply offering calm companionship in whatever form that takes, I cater to each pet individually so they feel as at ease as possible while you’re away. My background in nursing makes me comfortable administering most medications—including pills, injections, and specialized treatments—with confidence and ease. I always follow your care instructions and often take pictures or videos at our meet-and-greet to refer back to later as well. (I can also do more than one meet-and-greet if necessary for an additional cost based on time and driving distance.) In addition to practical care, I bring a grounded, gentle presence and am certified in animal Reiki, which can be especially comforting for anxious or high-energy pets. I also treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pet so that you can return to a calm, tidy space and a happy companion. I currently have a very flexible schedule that can be adapted to a variety of needs, including caring for birds, rodents, reptiles, and more, ensuring I can meet your pet's unique needs. I hope I get the opportunity to meet with you and your pet in person and see if we might make a good fit! I am not currently working outside the home, apart from Rover, and do not accept other jobs while I am caring for your pet (s). When you book me as your sitter I can guarantee that your pet will have my undivided attention the whole stay. Earning your pets trust and ensuring they are always safe, (both inside the home and outside on walls, etc.), is my top priority as a pet sitter. I follow the rules you put into place for their care and will always contact you should there be any concerns. (Thankfully there rarely are!)
“We were in a bind and needed a last minute pet sitter for our dog. Thankfully Tina was available and was very friendly and great with communication! Thanks again for taking care of our girl!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience working in animal shelters, dog daycare centers, and boarding facilities. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. After recently losing my beloved dogs, I realized I wasn't quite ready for another long-term commitment, but I deeply missed having dogs around. Rover has given me the perfect opportunity to open my home and heart to dogs while helping other pet parents feel confident their pets are in good hands. I'm a stay-at-home mom, which means your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I also have two cats who grew up with dogs and are comfortable sharing their space, as well as two young children who have been around dogs their entire lives and know how to interact respectfully with them. For the comfort and safety of every pet in my care, I only accept dogs from one household at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention and create a calm, stress-free environment during their stay. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. My mornings typically begin with feeding pets, potty breaks, walks, or playtime before my family's daily activities start. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive frequent attention, supervision, and companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. Throughout the day, I can accommodate additional potty breaks, outdoor time in our fenced yard, feeding schedules, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and enrichment. In the evenings, pets are included in our family's relaxed routine, with more playtime, walks, and cuddles before bedtime. For boarding and daycare, dogs are rarely left unattended, and I only accept pets from one household at a time to ensure each pet receives personalized care and attention. I care for every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality. I understand that being away from their family can be stressful, so I strive to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. Dogs have access to our large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and because I am home throughout the day, they receive consistent attention and companionship. I only care for dogs from one household at a time, which allows me to focus on their individual needs and maintain a low-stress environment. For cats, I ensure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and attention at their comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, cuddles, or simply having a quiet and reliable caretaker, I respect their personality and routine. I am also comfortable following special instructions, administering medications when needed, and providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Nichole was awesome with my Husky Skye! She was very attentive and kept me updated throughout the day with how she was doing as well as sent pictures! I would recommend her to any of my pet parent friends!”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing! This was first time using Rover and what a great experience! She took great care of our baby boy. We could not have asked for more. She made our trip work and I cannot thank her enough!”

My schedule is pretty flexible during the week since I work from home. I am available during the week and occasionally on the weekends as well. Please don’t hesitate to reach out even if the date is blocked off. I definitely try my best to make it work schedule wise. I live in an apartment complex but there are various nearby parks and open spaces that are pet friendly. There's also a lot of walking space around the complex. I take care of my grandpa currently and he would love to have company of a four legged friend. 🥰

“Michelle was great. She was ready for Daly to be dropped off. She kept me informed all day, with messages and photos. So I was totally at ease during the day. And she was ready to hand Daly back to me, with a summary of activities. I recommend her highly, and will gladly use her services again. Thanks, Michelle!”

“Kobie is great! So laid back and scheduling was super easy. He replies fast and communication is kept all day. His dogs are nice and play great with mine. It’s hard to find a sitter for my 100 pound clumsy Rottie but so glad Kobie lives close by. Simba loves going to doggie daycare and is so sleepy when he gets home from having such a fun day! Will 100% use Kobie for all my rover needs.”

“Thank you Sherry so Much!!! We felt so happy and secure with our big goofy moose safely in your hands. We will surely be using your excellent services again! The pics of our baby were a nice touch, he was having fun and being a good boy ? top-notch care and very easy to work with, thanks!”

About: About Me I have a deep love for animals and years of experience caring for them. After losing our family dog of 15 years, I spent two years fostering pets. While I’ve chosen not to commit to a permanent pet due to future retirement plans, I still enjoy providing a loving and safe environment for animals through short-term fostering and pet sitting. I also care for my son’s dog on weekends, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. What I Offer When your pet stays with me, they’ll enjoy: A spacious, secure backyard with a doggie door for easy indoor/outdoor access Cozy pet beds and a variety of chew toys A treat jar (with your approval—no rawhide) Plenty of love, attention, and playtime Your pet’s happiness is my priority! Have worry-free travel and peace of mind knowing your furry baby is in caring hands. I work at a local University and have been there for 30 years. I work from home a few days a week and on the days I'm in my office, if I should have your pet I will arrange to work from home if given enough notice. I work from home Wed - Friday and of course, on weekends I'm home. I have a fenced-in backyard with a dog door that can be opened or closed. I do have my sweet grandpup (who was a foster) a couple of times a week and is used to all dogs and cats. We go to Woodstock Dog Park, so she has others to play with. I have one large crate and one med crate. I only crate if I'm out running errands and if your pet needs to be crated for safety and security reasons. Our family dog loved to lie in his crate while we were gone or he was napping with the door open, so I know that some pets feel safer with an open door crate. I will discuss with you and your preferences. My grandpup does not use a crate anymore at anytime but she is now three.

As a Navy family, reliability and trust are important to us, and my husband helps with drop-in visits and boardings (also a star sitter on rover) . We look forward to welcoming your pet into our home! 🐾💕 As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care and supervision. Pets are never left alone for long and receive regular interaction, feeding, and enrichment throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care. On nice days, pets enjoy supervised time in our spacious backyard for fresh air and play. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with a spacious backyard for supervised play and fresh air. Because I’m home most of the day, pets receive plenty of attention and are rarely left alone. About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer to do a meet and greet before boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.
“Anna has been taking fantastic care of our Samoyed every Tuesday for a couple months now. Her kids play with him and he is never happier than when we pull up to her house. I’m so glad we found Anna. Cannot recommend more highly.”

“David is truly amazing! We needed a sitter for our pup at the last minute so I went on Rover and was impressed with David’s profile and reviews. I contacted him and he responded right away. We needed a 5am drop off and he was totally accommodating. Oz spent the day playing with David’s pups and was so happy when we picked him up. David communicated with me during the day to put me at ease and I appreciated that. You know how dog mama’s are lol. We had a great experience and will definitely rebook with him many times in the future.”

Indian River dog parents share their Rover experiences
Miss Patricia is a wonderful dog-sitter. I know Hope loves spending time with her because when I pull into the driveway she tries to jump out of the window to get to the house. She is so kind and attentive to Hope. She recognized something was wrong with Hope and alerted me to excessive itching. Went to vet and Hope had an ear infection that I would have missed working all day. Highly recommend Miss Patricia to care for your dog.
