“When I dropped off my puppy, Skye, her tail was between her legs and when I returned that night, she was giving Amber kisses! Skye is very unsure of new people and it takes her time to warm up. Amber was very patient and caring with Skye and sent photos. When I arrived for pick up, Amber was literally dancing with Skye to get her comfortable around people making sudden movements. “We are new to the area and was looking for sitter/daycare for my pup. We tried a corporate style daycare but it was too overwhelming (for both of us )... So I decided to look on Rover to see if I can find something with a home setting. My pup grew up in a daycare with a family who loves him just as much as I do and I was hoping to continue this type of relationship. I was immediately attracted to the photo of Jason and Renee with all their dogs... they generated joy and peacefulness. Upon meeting them they they are just that! Very impressive. Renee calls Jason the "dog whisperer." I seem to think that that might be true. We only had a meet and greet and this is our first day of daycare, but his insight into how dogs think, what helps their anxiety, and how he can ease the transition and build my pup's confidence is remarkable. I have to say I'm a little protective of my little dog who's just as protective over me. I'm looking forward to continuing on this relationship with Jason and Renee. And hoping that Jason can help my little guy with his confidence and his separation anxiety/dependency on me. Like I said it's only been one day. But I will definitely be back!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 20 years. We are dog lovers and ensure every pet in our care gets all the love and attention they deserve. We love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, or doing whatever your dog enjoys the most. We spoil our pets!! I work part time through the summer, but someone is home most days to make sure pets get the care they need. I can take them on walks or whatever else you say is part of your pet’s routine. I have a fenced yard and one sweet chocolate lab to keep your puppies company. You can rest assured that your pet is getting the best care that they deserve.

I’m a new dog mom and I’m very uneasy leaving my new baby for the first time all day with a person I don’t know ..Danielle was very kind , accommodating and followed my instructions ,as to what my dog is use to and kept her in her routine . I received photos of her and little updates S to how she was adjusting ,as she is a shy ,anxious little girl and not use to been around other dogs .The location as well is very convenient, only a mile away from my home !Danielle would be my go to friendly Rover assistant from here on.. About: I have loved dogs since I was a toddler! My first dog was a golden retriever mix and later I grew up with Yorkies and other small to medium-sized breeds. I currently have one fur-baby (Adonis) and he is a social butterfly! I believe our four-legged companions are family, which is why I'm dedicated to treating them with care and respect so they know they are loved. Adonis has his bedroom (The Doggie Suite) and would love to share his space with happy friends to play with! Working remotely from home allows me to accommodate our fitness goals. Adonis walks at least twice a day (morning and evening) and runs around in the yard in between. We enjoy exploring new and larger spaces throughout Hampton Roads such as various parks, beaches, and other safe & clean areas that promote healthy living. Most of our longer, more adventurous walks take place on the weekends. Due to my current full-time occupation, I am working in the office once per week on Thursdays only. If you need a visit through the week, Thursdays are the only days I am not physically home for most of the day (8am-6pm). I work remote all other weekdays and I am off on weekends. We have a fenced-in backyard for playtime or potty breaks. I can accommodate any specific routines regarding meals or medication that your loved ones need. Even though we do love music & movement, we keep the volume at a peaceful level and live in a non-smoking atmosphere. Whether your pal enjoys having their own space with quiet time or lots of cuddles with belly rubs, we have just the place they need. We hope you will allow your fur-baby (or fur-babies) to visit us for a relaxation session or an active adventure!

“Shayla is very loving towards dogs. She consider her dog Apollo as another one of her children. He is very well trained by her and she shows us how to deal with him so he gets trained the same way by everyone. I would reccomend her as a dog sitter, your pet would be taken care of very well.”
