“Gus had an amazing time with Nichole….he didnt want to leave! She was excellent with communication and sent the cutest pictures of him while playing with other dogs. So thankful for the time and love she spent taking care of our puppy for a few hours.”

“I will be continuing to take my pup to Priscilla as long as she will have her. Honestly my senior citizen pup has never been alone and lost her companion recently, Priscilla has comforted her and put me at ease. I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am for her.”

“Ziggy had a fun day with LeeAnn and Simba. He got exercise and playtime! I love that his sitter sent picture updates throughput his stay. I highly recommend LeeAnn and will re-book with her soon!”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing! This was first time using Rover and what a great experience! She took great care of our baby boy. We could not have asked for more. She made our trip work and I cannot thank her enough!”

“I was in town for the day and needed someone to care for my "traveling companion" :) Melisa was extremely responsive, caring and stayed in touch while he was visiting with her. I would definitely recommend and intend to reach out to her when I return to the area.”

“Tina and her family were the perfect "home away from home" for our fur-baby! Thank you for loving her today! We look forward to continuing the relationship!”

“Kobie is great! So laid back and scheduling was super easy. He replies fast and communication is kept all day. His dogs are nice and play great with mine. It’s hard to find a sitter for my 100 pound clumsy Rottie but so glad Kobie lives close by. Simba loves going to doggie daycare and is so sleepy when he gets home from having such a fun day! Will 100% use Kobie for all my rover needs.”

About: We have years of experience caring for older dogs, anxious pups (non-reactive), and high-energy breeds. We specialize in creating calm, consistent routines that help pets feel safe and relaxed. Whether it’s medication schedules, enrichment activities, or just quiet snuggle time, we tailor each stay to your dog’s unique needs. I work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 40-minute commute each way. During those hours, my husband Timothy—who’s a full-time stay-at-home father—is home to provide consistent care, potty breaks, and companionship. We coordinate closely to ensure your dog’s routine stays steady throughout the day. Morning and evening walks are part of our rhythm, and we love visiting local pet-friendly parks and walking trails for fresh air and enrichment. Weekends offer even more flexibility for longer outings and extra snuggle time. We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s specific schedule and energy level. Our home is a safe, dog-friendly apartment in South Norfolk/Chesapeake area. We host only one client at a time to ensure personalized care. Timothy and I are experienced with oral medications and have a background working with anxious dogs. Our space includes a gentle cat, two kids, and plenty of cozy corners for rest and play.
About: I am an attentive caregiver to my pets and have had several pets of my own from puppies to senior dogs. I have a lot of patience with puppies. I am retired grand mother and have plenty of time to give love and care to your pet. I enjoy playing with pets as well. I have no pets at this time and a big backyard with lots of room to run and play and a safe environment in my home.
“You can tell she loves dogs. Autumn cared for our pup with love and understanding, and made sure she got her walks and play time in. Riley was tuckered out on the way home and looked like she wanted to go back for more day care! We will definitely be booking with Autumn again. Thank you!”

“Inna was extremely kinda and accommodating. I used her doggy daycare services and every day I picked up my pups, they did not want to leave. She sent me pictures daily and loved on my pups like they were hers. There were some slight changes to my schedule that required adjustments to the pick up times and she was very flexible. I have already discussed boarding them with her next month. As long as she is available we will always use her services. Thank you Inna!!”

“Sherry was very flexible, accommodating, and an excellent communicator. We received several pictures even during a short stay, which we appreciated very much! Very sweet family. Thanks Sherry!”

“Anna has been taking fantastic care of our Samoyed every Tuesday for a couple months now. Her kids play with him and he is never happier than when we pull up to her house. I’m so glad we found Anna. Cannot recommend more highly.”

“Jonathan knows how to respond to the needs of the little fellow he is sitting. Brutus is a super senior with special needs, so he needed a caretaker with Jonathan’s kind of expertise and mindfulness. I’ve never left him with a sitter outside of the family before, but I had such a stress free weekend after leaving Brutus in his hands. Jonathan had amazing communication with me and sent cute pictures of Brutus napping or exploring around the property. Jonathan’s two dogs are also super sweet and respectful of other dogs’ space, but he also respected any boundaries or rules I set for Brutus for the stay. Did great at earning my trust and staying constituent and thorough. Thank you Jonathan ♥️”

About: **Child free home** **Work from Home** I am very much a helicopter mom to all of my fur babies. I will care for yours the exact same as I would my own. Being someone you can trust with your family member while you are at work or away on vacation is my goal! I do this so pet parents can leave their babe(s) with a trusted human and not worry *too* much about their babe(s) while out of town or on vacation. I have fostered for a trusted animal rescue and screened for potential adopters as well! I work from home so I will have plenty of time to play with your baby and let them out for lots of potty breaks. I have a fenced in yard and a clean home with nothing laying around on the floors. Your baby will have their own space (with or without crate). Your baby will be cared for like it is my own.
About: I have so much love for all animals. I fostered for two years after losing our family dog of 15 years. I chose not to commit to another pet at my age and plan for future retirement, but the home didn't feel the same without a furbaby around. I now only foster short times due to work and travel. I also have an amazing grandpup on some weekends when my son is away. Watching your baby I'm not only getting that joy that pets fill us with, but helping others who want or need to travel without the worries of leaving your pet behind. I have a big back yard with a doggie door for in and out, warm pet beds, and chew toys of their choice. Of course, a snack jar if parents allow it (no rawhide). I work at a local University and have been there for 28 years. I work from home a few days a week and on the days I'm in my office, if I should have your pet I will arrange to work from home if given enough notice. I work from home Wed - Friday and of course, on weekends I'm home. I have a fenced-in backyard with a dog door that can either be open or shut. I do have my sweet grandpup (who was a foster) a couple of times a week and is used to all dogs and cats. We go to Woodstock Dog Park, so she has others to play with. I have one large crate and one med crate. I only crate if I'm out running errands and if your pet needs to be crated for safety and security reasons. Our family dog loved to lay in his crate while we were gone or he was napping with the door open, so I know that some pets feel safer with an open door crate, this I will discuss with you and your preferences. My grandpup does not use a crate anymore at anytime but she is now three.
“Jaime and her family have been wonderful to our sweet puppy. We are so comfortable leaving her with them. Thank you for treating her like a member of your family!”
