Hello Rover Parents! I’ve been a pet lover, owner, and trainer all my life. I’ve volunteered at the SD Humane Society and VBSPCA fostering and rehabilitating dogs, cats, and exotic animals, especially senior dogs with medical needs. I have a house with a fenced in backyard. I’m calm under pressure and always think “safety first.” Taking care of all animals is something I have plenty of experience in so regardless if your pet walks, crawls, slithers, flies, or swims I hope to be meeting you and your babies soon! Pet care is my daily routine. On a typical day I wake up around 6am to walk and feed any animals in my care. As long as the sun is out (and it isn’t too hot) we are out in the yard enjoying the day. In the evening it’s walks, dinner, and tv time 🙂 For pets that like adventure (with pet parent approval) we like to go for short hikes or hit the dog park on the weekend. I have a fenced in yard. My yard and home have multiple access control points to keep pets staying with me isolated from one another (if needed or requested) and safe. I also have several different sized crates to save pet parents the hassle of traveling with theirs (those things can be tough to move, so I take care of that for you). Dogs staying with me have bins dedicated to their personal food and medications, so there’s no opportunity for a mix up. At my home there are lots of toys to play with, and I love to cuddle with them on the couch. Your pet is here for a well-earned vacation, so requests and accommodations are welcome- just ask!

My husband and I left our two cats in Jon’s care for a trip out of the country and we were very pleased with his services! We were quite nervous as we had never left them with a stranger before but Jon made sure to update us every day, respond quickly when we messaged first and send plenty of pictures. What really stood out was the fact that he noticed one of our cats wasn’t using the litter box as much as the other, which is something that didn’t cross our minds to think about! He took care of our boy and gave him something to help him, which made us feel more at ease. Overall, he did great and was very communicative and took care of our babies. We would go back to him without a doubt in the future!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Jonathan! We entrusted him with our golden retriever, Trip, and our Australian shepherd, Scout, for a full week while we were on vacation, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the start, Jonathan was communicative, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. He kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Trip and Scout were not only well cared for, but genuinely happy and having a great time. When we picked them up, they were relaxed, healthy, and clearly had formed a bond with him. It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we can fully trust with our dogs. We highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive sitter. We will definitely be booking with him again!
Jonathan was great with my cat! He spent time with her every day and sent daily messages and pictures to update me on how she was doing. She was clearly happy, loved having her own perfect cat space, and I will 100% board with Jonathan again in the future.

I love to take dogs on walks, and see that they spend plenty of time out in the sun (weather permitting). I have a fenced in backyard with lots of room to run. I live in a quiet community with low traffic. Relaxation and playtime is the name of the game.
