I am a dedicated pet lover with hands-on experience working at a professional boarding facility for a year, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. That experience taught me how to handle everything from high-energy pups to more anxious or shy dogs, always with patience and care. I also have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m available any time, any day, and offer a wide range of services including walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I’m very reliable and always keep owners updated with messages and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or just some extra love and attention, I’m here to help! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I’m available full-time and have a very flexible schedule. I plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they get consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Since I’m available any time, I can accommodate early mornings, late evenings, and last-minute bookings. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods, and I make sure they’re always a priority in my schedule. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. I follow their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping schedules as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s routine exactly as instructed. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care like administering medication if needed. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and supervision at all times. With my experience working at a boarding facility, I’m comfortable handling different temperaments and ensuring every pet feels safe and well cared for.

About: Ever since I was young animals have played a huge role in my life. From my first dog to the mini zoo I have today. I am familiar with many breeds of dogs and cats as well as reptiles and recognize each one has its own characteristics and personality. Whether it's a walk, play time, or just someone to keep your pet company, I will appreciate and enjoy my time with them. I am a stay at home father of two. I am available most days. I have been working with pets for the past 4 years M-F with the occasional weekend visits. I love what I do and I take pride in my ability to befriend all pets. I believe each and every person has a responsibility, when they take on a pet, to give it the best life with a loving owner. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 lizards, 2 turtles, and 4 fish who all get attention suited to their needs and desires while also being attentive to proper and healthy care.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I love all animals! I have experience with health issues and giving dogs medication. My family has trained and raised puppies, and rescued several senior and abused dogs. I also have experience with cats, rodents, and reptiles. I treat every animal I encounter with love, kindness, and patience. I love walking and playing with them, and becoming a friend. I am a recent engineering grad from Penn State. I can give quality love and attention to any animal that is in my care. My roommate works from home and I work during the day, so we available for care 24/7. I currently live in an home with 2 cats and 1 dog. We have a fenced in backyard. I will be very attentive and follow any directions left for your pet when they are in my care. Whether it is at my place or yours, I will do my best to treat your dog like family and to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible while you are away. If you create your pet, I just ask that you bring their crate as well as any blankets, toys, or treats that might help them feel more comfortable.

About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have two small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.

About: I have had 1-2 dogs in my home for the last 20 years, and have spent hundreds of hours at dog parks, with other pet owners, and learning best pet parenting practices. As a teacher of 25 years, I can roll in my patience, reliability, and flexibility from my career as well as my own pet experiences. I am training my teen daughter to assist me, so, together, we can offer THE best care around the clock. Your dog or cat will appreciate how he or she will be carefully handled whether it's for dog walking, pet sitting, or boarding. I look forward to meeting your fur baby! As a teacher who works 50% of the day teaching online from home, I am only gone a maximum of four hours a day on weekdays and I am off on summers, holidays, and weekends. This allows me to spend a good deal of my time doing something I love: taking care of pets. Now, my teen daughter who wants to become a zoologist is also stepping up to help give every furbaby maximum attention! I spoil dogs, allowing them on couches and in beds; have a large, enclosed porch with lots of doggy lounge areas; live on the Elizabeth River Trail for long dog walks; and am walking distance from a super nice dog park. If sitting them at their home, I am sure to follow all owner instructions and to treat their pets like they were my own to include lots of chats, pets, and snuggles!

About: I absolutely adore dogs! I’ve had dogs for as long as I remember so I’m very experienced with them. I did a lot of dog-sitting as well as a kid and still help out with my friends dogs as well. There will always be someone in the home to care for the dogs. My 16 year old daughter is also home and can let the dogs out too. She has grown up with dogs her whole life as well. I have a fenced yard and an easily accessible walking trail behind my house. I have crates if needed. Dogs are a part of our family and I treat them as such. They are allowed on furniture and beds. If you don’t allow dogs on furniture I will respect that as well.

About: I pet sat for my neighbors growing up when they went on their annual vacation. i have a german shepherd/malmois mix and a cat who all love being outside! I also have a golden retriever who just turned one who is the absolute light of my life! My husband and I are very active, we both work full time, he works construction and I in healthcare. I especially love walking and caring for dogs as well as getting as much cuddles in as I can! Hoping to bring along my golden on walks to your discretion. We normally walk 1-2 miles a day!! I have quite a large backyard I’d be happy to share with furry friends! As long as they are happy and like other dogs they are more than welcome!
