“Christina was excellent with our boys! We were nervous as this was the first time we have left them since we got them but her care for animals is so apparent and appreciated. Thank you for keeping us updated and sending pics while we were away. I would recommend Christina to EVERYONE!”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

“Tiffani was absolutely fantastic with Apollo! She sent updates and pictures and kept me completely informed about how everything was going. I'll definitely be using her again and highly recommend her!”

“Lynnette provided excellent care for our dog while we were away for the weekend. She is very thorough and professional in her approach to care, and her home had a wonderful set up to make our dog's stay comfortable. Very quick response times on all communication and we received lot of updates and pictures to confirm he was having a good time. Highly recommend!”

“Victoria took really good care of Beans, kept me updated and always responded to my messages quickly. She was kind and had a great environment for pups. She took her for walks and let her sleep with her in the bed. Beans had a great time there!”

“Jamie was an awesome sitter and very accommodating during a last minute plan for our trip. She was a quick communicator and provided great pictures of Matt while we were away!”

“Kimberlee took the best care of our two dogs!! We received pictures and updates every day and they seemed so happy and loved! I am definitely going to rely on Kimberlee again to watch them when we go out of town!!”

“Pamela saved our day when another Rover sitter had to cancel on us, last minute. We did not have time for a meet and greet so we were a bit nervous. Once we met her on her beautiful property, it was easy to tell she loves taking care of pets and takes it very seriously. She liked our dog Gipper but more importantly, Gipper liked her. They bonded almost immediately which made it possible for us to enjoy our trip. Nothing like picking up your dog who is happy, energetic and happy! Thank Pamela!”
“Thanks so much, Emily & Ryan! We appreciated all the picture updates, and Calvin obviously had a wonderful time. You guys were always quick to respond, helpful, and flexible. We hope to book again in future.”

“Leandra and Mark were amazing! We left our behaviorly challenged yorkie with them for a week and they handled him like professionals! We we got back it was like he was on vacation not us! He clearly loved them and di so well! We hope to use them for future vacation needs. We could not have asked for a better place for our fur baby to stay while we were gone. ❤️🫶🥰”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pet while you're away. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, and following each dog's normal routine and care instructions. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they're in my care, while also giving you peace of mind knowing they're being well taken care of. As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm home throughout the day, which gives me plenty of time to provide pets with attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, feeding, and companionship. I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust to each pet's normal routine and needs. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods and will have someone around to make them feel comfortable and cared for while they're away from home. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for someone else's pet. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while in my care. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, routines, walks, medications, and any special needs. I also understand that every pet has a different personality, so I give them the time and space they need to feel comfortable in a new environment. I want every owner to have peace of mind knowing their pet is safe, happy, and being treated like part of the family.
“Paul & Kelly took excellent care of Dewey and were easy to work with. I came over before my trip for a meet & greet and they were very reassuring. I got regular updates & pictures. Dewey loved the big yard & got lots of gentle attention & play time from the Boys.”

“Haley is AMAZING! She took care of my 15 week old puppy last minute, and was super communicative. She sent photos and updates, as well as took him to socialize and made sure he was well taken care of. THANK YOU!”

“Absolutely amazing with our pups. Loves them like her own and will accommodate to anything they may need. Eases them into socialization if they aren’t used to it and helps “train” them if needed. Will definitely use her again!!”

“Angelina was a great catsitter. I was nervous about travelling because my cat is timid and scared of new people but she took great care of him and sent photos/updates everyday that made my trip much less stressful.”

“Emily did an amazing job caring for my cats, providing updates, and generally going above and beyond, AND my cats felt comfortable with her, which is not always the norm. I will definitely be asking her back next time I go out of town.”

“Absolutely Fabulous!!! 10/10 highly recommend!! She did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats (and the one is iffy about new people) she sent tons of pictures and sent updates about the cats and even updated me on home issues like packages. I was so nervous to hire a sitter after moving to the area without a lot of family to watch my cats, but my fears melted away. Again would 10/10 recommended Janelle she did an amazing job!”

“Heather was wonderful from start to finish! She was incredibly enthusiastic, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process, and it was clear from the beginning (and even after) that she has a genuine love and care for cats. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was, and I always felt confident that my cat was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their little ones. 10/10!!!”

“Thank you to Christina for taking care of our three cats while we were out of town. We have three very different cat personalities and she was able to meet everyone’s needs. Would recommend and use again!”

“Kimberlee was very communicative and reliable! She took great care of Linus and made sure he was doing well with his food, water and litter box. Would definitely rebook!”

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: I have a cat myself, Nemo, and have daily experience taking care of him. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, food & water or scooping litter I’ll take care of your fur baby! I have also cat sat for several friends and family members while they were away!

“Carly was a great cat sitter for Crystal! 😊 She kept me updated during each visit with pictures and videos, which really helped us feel at ease while we were away. She was patient and sweet with Crystal, and I was so happy to hear that Crystal warmed up to her 🤍 Thank you again, Carly, for taking good care of our baby!”

About: I stand out from other sitters because I bring a rare combination of veterinary training, hands‑on clinical experience, and a lifetime of caring for animals of all sizes. I am a veterinary nurse graduate from Marian University Plymouth 2026, which means I approach every pet with a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety. Alongside my education, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant in both large and small animal medicine, and during my several externships at Emergency, Specialty Hospitals, Private Practice and currently working at a veterinary clinic. These roles have given me extensive experience with senior pets, animals with medical needs, medication administration, safe animals handling and recognizing early signs of illness or stress — skills that most sitters don’t have. Beyond my clinical background, animals have been a central part of my life from the very beginning. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to shy or anxious pets. I also have a fountain in farm work which created a strong sense of responsibility and dedication. Your pets aren’t just watched — they’re cared for by someone who truly understands them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I’m currently working at a veterinary clinic with a consistent schedule. I work Tuesday–Friday, and depending on your location, I can stop by for mid‑day potty breaks during the week. I also follow a steady, work‑style rhythm, so I can visit in the mornings before my shift and return in the evenings for feeding, walks, or check‑ins. My weekends are even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for longer visits or extended care. Because of my profession and lifestyle, pet sitting blends seamlessly into my routine, and I make sure every pet receives dependable, attentive care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment that keeps pets comfortable. I like too follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible — from feeding and medication schedules to preferred walking routes and bedtime habits — because familiar patterns help reduce stress. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance so they feel relaxed even when their family is away. My goal is to provide care that feels seamless, trustworthy, and grounded in both compassion and professional experience.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and currently have two of my own, so I know every cat has their own unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I truly love spending time with cats and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and prefers their space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of attention and playtime, and lots of love if they want it. I’ll care for your cats with the same patience and attention I give my own, and I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you know how they’re doing.
About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. We are very well organized, and have also taken care of our many children throughout our lives!
“We had a really good experience with Kylie taking care of both the cats. Both cats gelled with her, she made sure to share many pictures from every visit. Had a peace of mind, knowing they were in good hands. We will definitely approach her again if we get a chance.”

About: My family except for me and my grandma is allergic to cats, but I love spending time with my Grandma’s cats! I understand boundaries and I’m just happy to have a study buddy when dropping in or house sitting. I can follow specific instructions well and I’ll probably end up sending you too many pictures of your cat while you’re gone :) I am super clean and tidy and will take great care of both your home and your feline friend if you use my services!

“Andrew was GREAT! His whole house, from the inside out was extremely dog friendly. LiLi was a little apprehensive at first. He let me stay while he introduced all the dogs he was watching, one at a time, to LiLi. He made the transition easier for her by giving her (and all the other dogs) treats. Even though LiLi was nervous when I left, Andrew sent me a video of her happily playing with his dog, James, less than 5 minutes after I left. He took great pictures and videos too!! Definitely will use him again…tomorrow. 😊”

About: Dogs are a part of my soul and will be well cared for. Including walks, playtime, food, water and a doggy door. I cannot wait to meet your pup. I am a stay at home dog Mom. I am always available unless I am running errands. I do 2 meals a day and walk in the afternoon. My pets rule the roost. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. Also, if I am in your home I will be respectful as if it is my own.
“I don’t think I can say enough good about Haley and Pierce. Pierce is the perfect combination of laid back and playful. He patiently tolerated her initial over-excitement and then ran and played “chase” with her at the beautiful park where Haley took them. Haley was friendly and professional, providing frequent updates and photos. I will most definitely be using Haley again!”

“LiLi had a great time at Kimberlee’s. When I came to pick her up, she was still trying to run around and play with their dog, Odie, who has become one of LiLi’s best pals.”

“Wonderful doggy daycare experience. Brock had a great time hanging out with his two new buddies and loved roaming around the beautiful garden. Emily was a great communicator and sent the sweetest updates. Would book again in a heartbeat. Thanks y’all!”

“Kiana was great. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to bring our fur baby. However, the weather was extremely cold and my daughter and I wanted to go to the outlet mall but had no clue what to do with our pup. I reached out to Kiara and god a near immediate response. We were able to enjoy our trip and our pup was happy too. She got a walk and lots of love and attention and had a blast playing with her dog. She was nice and worn out for our long car ride home. Definitely recommend!”

“Lindsay was great! She helped me out when my sitter was not available. She has a nice, big backyard that I know my dog loved! Her and her family are very kind and took great care of my little guy.”

“Betty was very attentive to our little, old chi (17). He seemed super relaxed and content when I picked him up. Having a fenced yard was a real treat for him. We would definitely use her again. 👍 Betty, thanks for the pics and updates each day that he was in your care. 🙂”

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.
About: Hi! I’m Kristina, a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 9 years of experience caring for animals in general practice, emergency medicine, and beyond. 🐾 I know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all personalities and needs, including seniors and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. Your pets will be treated like family and cared for with the same compassion and attention I give my own. ❤️ Pet care is my full-time profession, which means your pets receive my dedicated time, attention, and reliability—not just care squeezed in around another job. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I’ve built my career around caring for animals and understanding their individual needs. I’m able to provide dependable scheduling, attentive care, and the peace of mind that comes from leaving your pets with an experienced veterinary professional. 🐾 My home is set up with pet safety and supervision in mind. 🏡🐾 I have a gate separating the front and back areas of the house, which helps me safely manage pets and keep a close eye on everyone in my care. I have a small, unfenced yard, so pets are always supervised and leashed while outside. My neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it great for daily walks and outdoor enrichment. I also have crates available when needed or if your pet is most comfortable having their own secure space. There are other pets in my home, so I take introductions and individual personalities seriously. My veterinary background helps me closely monitor behavior, comfort, and interactions to create a safe and positive environment for every pet staying with me. ❤️

About: I’ve owned large dogs consistently for the last 20 years. I’m ready to give snuggles to dogs of all sizes, though! Kids are back in school so I have lots of time on my hands. I’m ready to spread the love! I’m currently looking for some supplemental income doing something fun and rewarding while maintaining the flexibility I need for my kids and their schedule. I love the idea of borrowing someone else’s pup for a little bit so they don’t have to be lonely all day. I have been home since my youngest was born 9 years ago, so I have plenty of time on my hands during the days. We have a big fenced yard, and live on a quiet street with little traffic for walks. I don’t really have a lot of other things going on during the day, so frequent potty breaks are no issue.
About: I’m an attorney and moved to Granger recently. I have been on Rover for a few years (previously in Chicago and Colorado). I’ve had a cat since I was 7 years old, have worked with horses (not that I’m expecting to actually pet-sit any horses), and just adore animals. I have a 7 year old cat and a 1 1/2 year old dog. I love them both so so much. I would love the chance to spend more time with animals and hopefully help you out! I can handle all sizes of dogs. Just for a little more about me: I grew up in Erie, PA before leaving to attend Notre Dame for my undergraduate degree. I’ve played sports all of my life. I’d love to get to know your pets better too! Thanks! I work from home and make my own schedule so can make almost any time work. I love walking and being outdoors so I’d love to add dog-walking as part of my routine. I’ll be super attentive to your pets. I’ll be high energy and playful if that’s what they’re like or very chill and easy-going if they’re a little more slow paced!

I will have a Friday class however most afternoons I should be free and if not, I will always work with my schedule and your schedule to find the best time that works to see your pets! “Emily does a fantastic job at watching my dog while I'm away! She is very professional and communicative, and went above and beyond while I was away for a week”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—there has literally never been a time growing up when I didn't have a pet at home! On top of my lifelong hands-on experience, I spent all four years of high school volunteering weekly at a local animal shelter, dedicating about 8 hours a week to caring for both cats and dogs. I’d love to bring that same high level of care, patience, and love to your furry family members! I'm currently on summer break from the University of Notre Dame, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work with the Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional seasonally. I value safety over anything and will keep a close eye on your pets as much as requested. I understand what can happen if an animal is left alone for too long, and will ensure that your animals are safe and protected.

“Heather does outstanding with my two girls! My littlest baby lupita who has always been very fearful of strangers absolutely loves her. She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. I have nothing but good things to say about heather and could not have picked a better person to trust my baby girls with.”

“Kimberlee was great! She was responsive to my request. She was on time for both walks and sent pictures of Finn. I will definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend that you book her as well.”

I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your fur baby, so I’m always happy to send pictures and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is being loved and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️ Being a stay-at-home wife gives me a very open and flexible schedule for pet sitting. I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. I’m also able to accommodate each dog’s usual feeding, potty, and sleeping schedule so their routine feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I want every dog staying with me to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time and two friendly large dogs of my own. I also have two cats who stay in their own separate room while I’m boarding dogs. I’m happy to crate your pup if that’s part of their normal routine, and I always follow any instructions you leave for me.
“Margaret is fantastic—she has great expertise with both dogs and cats and is incredibly reliable and friendly! My dog, who is a little bit nervous generally and not small (Aussie/Husky) took to her immediately and they have gotten on beautifully! I also have two cats and Margaret gives them the same love she does her own sweet kitty. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello, I’m Chloe! I was born and raised here in Indiana, and I would love to make some furry friends! I’ve grown up in a household with multiple cats, and more recently two family dogs. I also have two dogs and two cats of my own. I have many years of experience caring for friends’ and families’ dogs and cats—of different breeds, ages, and sizes. Being active is a big part of my life so I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, playing fetch with them, and then snuggling on the couch after a long day of activities! I work from home, so I can be flexible with owners’ schedules. I can work from your house, in order to spend more quality time with your babies. I am mindful of your routine and suggestions! I will follow your recommendations on what to do to keep your pets feeling relaxed and safe.

About: Your pet is welcome in my home! They will get lots of TLC, play time, feeding, walking & love. My house is small but live on 2 acres in the country. My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. I also have a tie out if they dont do well on a leash & some are fine to free roam but they are never left unattended. I can take 2 small to medium dogs or 2 large or 1 giant dog. I will also transport your pet(s) to & from your home if needed. This will be an additional fee. I have been professionally petsitting for the past 17 years. References are supplied upon request. Any cancellation less than 7 days before stay begins will result in no refund provided.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.
