“Christina is a wonderful dog sitter! She gave our Nala plenty of playtime and rest time during her stay. Christina was awesome at communicating, sending us numerous videos each day. Nala came home very happy and tired from her time with Christina. She is located near SB airport so very convenient to use when traveling. I highly recommend Christina and will be booking her in the future.”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

“Jamie really helped us out by taking in Buddy on short notice allowing us to meet the sweet newest addition to our family. We could tell he had a very good time based on falling asleep immediately on the drive home. She was very good at communication. Highly recommend.”

“Lynn is an absolute Godsend! She provided me multiple updates daily including photos. She offered food and health recommendations as well as resources to review and research. Lynn pampered and spoiled ChiChi during our nearly weeklong vacation. I would trust her with my own life, not just my dog’s life. She’s that darn good! I will only use her from now on and recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!! Thank you again Lynn!!! 🫶🏼”

“Pam did a great job taking care of my pup and gave me daily updates during my trip. I could tell she cared a lot about my pup and accommodated to her needs!”

“Victoria took really good care of Beans, kept me updated and always responded to my messages quickly. She was kind and had a great environment for pups. She took her for walks and let her sleep with her in the bed. Beans had a great time there!”

I believe we have found Buddy a new home away from home!!! Thanks again guys you are amazing and I can’t wait to bring him back :).”

“Chris took great care of our Vizsla, Kona. He gave us daily updates and pictures and walked her regularly. Just before drop off Kona had an unexpected trip to the vet due to a potential ear infection. When we brought the meds at drop off for him to administer for the week, he was very accommodating and gave them to her each day. We would definitely use Chris again!”

“Paul and Kelly (and kids) did a great job caring for our puppies. When we arrived for pickup, our puppies were happy and energetic. Paul and Kelly were very receptive to following our dogs’ schedules. We will definitely take them back to Paul, Kelly and the kids!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pet while you're away. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, and following each dog's normal routine and care instructions. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they're in my care, while also giving you peace of mind knowing they're being well taken care of. As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm home throughout the day, which gives me plenty of time to provide pets with attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, feeding, and companionship. I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust to each pet's normal routine and needs. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods and will have someone around to make them feel comfortable and cared for while they're away from home. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for someone else's pet. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while in my care. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, routines, walks, medications, and any special needs. I also understand that every pet has a different personality, so I give them the time and space they need to feel comfortable in a new environment. I want every owner to have peace of mind knowing their pet is safe, happy, and being treated like part of the family.
About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old. Growing up on a farm, I learned to take care of animals from a very young age. Additionally, I spent a lot of my high school years pet sitting for neighbors, family friends, and friends of friends! I have had many dogs of many different breeds and ages. I tend to be an active person, so walking and playing with my pets to ensure their exercise is something I prioritize. I’m very good at adapting to pets different personalities and making them as comfortable as possible. I work 5 days a week but on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. My hours are 9-3, so I have plenty of time during the week to love on your pet! Additionally, my weekends are free. Though I do not have any pets currently, I have an apartment with plenty of room, outside space, and live directly across from a huge, gated dog park— which is friendly to all sizes of dogs. Additionally, I live right next to tons of walking trails, perfect for those pets who love their walks! If your pup is needing to be crated, I can easily make that happen, as well as anything else your pet needs!
“Leigh Anne has watched our dog, Noodles, many times over the last several years. Noodles always comes home happy, tired, and smelling good (Leigh Anne will typically give her a bath before she returns home - what a great added benefit!). Leigh Anne is always friendly and you can tell she really cares about all of the dogs in her home.”

“Deseo expresar mi agradecimiento por el cuidado brindado al Gordo durante estos tres días. Se evidenció un manejo responsable y atento en todo momento, así como la paciencia necesaria para atenderlo adecuadamente. Me generó confianza saber que estaba en buenas manos. Ha sido una experiencia satisfactoria.”

“My dog, Gabi, really enjoyed her time over there. Andrea was great at communicating over Gabi's care. Gabi seemed excited to see me but wasn’t scrambling to get home the way she has in the past with other pet sitters. Definitely would recommend Andrea if your dog likes kids.”

“RA and Steven were fantastic! I did receive a daily photos and text updates about their walks and Dog Park adventures with my dog Parker and would highly recommend them for anyone considering dog sitting services!”

“Emily was a great cat-sitter! She was incredibly kind and very communicative and responsive. This was my first time leaving my cats with a Rover sitter and I cannot say enough good things about Emily’s care. My cats seem so happy and cared for! She provided many pictures and updates as well as was so adaptive to unforeseen hurdles (my main entrance of my building was unusable and she was totally open to using the side entrance). The meet and greet eased so many of my anxieties as she asked great questions I didn’t even think about! I 100% recommended and will book her again!”

“Janelle takes excellent care of my cat, Merry. I had to add a day and a half to the end of my vacation and luckily for me Janelle was available to continue checking in on Merry. The photos and messages she sends ease any anxiety about leaving my cat.”

“We absolutely ADORE the service we received from Lindsey!!! 🙂She is by far the best cat sitter we have ever had. Miss Korie and Lindsey had wonderful photos each drop in, including cat box shots! We were not worried whatsoever and appreciated all the detailed notes. Both the cats were more than comfortable they had a blast getting treats and lots of play time 🤗 Truly could not recommend anyone more than Lindsey (and miss Korie, who was so great with our littlest cat!!) They even left us a sweet card and candle we would rate 100/10 if possible! Thank you again for the incredible service!!”

“Thank-you Mariah for taking such good care of my crew. I loved all the pictures and that Sonny boy took right up with you. It's a big relief to know they are well taken care of.”

“Kiersten was kind enough to take a last minute booking and did a great job with all of our cats. We we fostering and had a full house and some unique instructions and she handled it like a pro. Plan on booking again in the future!”

About: I stand out from other sitters because I bring a rare combination of veterinary training, hands‑on clinical experience, and a lifetime of caring for animals of all sizes. I am a veterinary nurse graduate from Marian University Plymouth 2026, which means I approach every pet with a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety. Alongside my education, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant in both large and small animal medicine, and during my several externships at Emergency, Specialty Hospitals, Private Practice and currently working at a veterinary clinic. These roles have given me extensive experience with senior pets, animals with medical needs, medication administration, safe animals handling and recognizing early signs of illness or stress — skills that most sitters don’t have. Beyond my clinical background, animals have been a central part of my life from the very beginning. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to shy or anxious pets. I also have a fountain in farm work which created a strong sense of responsibility and dedication. Your pets aren’t just watched — they’re cared for by someone who truly understands them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I’m currently working at a veterinary clinic with a consistent schedule. I work Tuesday–Friday, and depending on your location, I can stop by for mid‑day potty breaks during the week. I also follow a steady, work‑style rhythm, so I can visit in the mornings before my shift and return in the evenings for feeding, walks, or check‑ins. My weekends are even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for longer visits or extended care. Because of my profession and lifestyle, pet sitting blends seamlessly into my routine, and I make sure every pet receives dependable, attentive care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment that keeps pets comfortable. I like too follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible — from feeding and medication schedules to preferred walking routes and bedtime habits — because familiar patterns help reduce stress. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance so they feel relaxed even when their family is away. My goal is to provide care that feels seamless, trustworthy, and grounded in both compassion and professional experience.
About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

“Couldn’t have asked for a better cat-sitter. This is the longest I’ve ever had to leave Victor on my own and Lydia made that so much easier. Even when there were difficulties accessing the apartment— she was still so helpful! Will vouch 100%”

“We had a really good experience with Kylie taking care of both the cats. Both cats gelled with her, she made sure to share many pictures from every visit. Had a peace of mind, knowing they were in good hands. We will definitely approach her again if we get a chance.”

About: My family except for me and my grandma is allergic to cats, but I love spending time with my Grandma’s cats! I understand boundaries and I’m just happy to have a study buddy when dropping in or house sitting. I can follow specific instructions well and I’ll probably end up sending you too many pictures of your cat while you’re gone :) I am super clean and tidy and will take great care of both your home and your feline friend if you use my services!
About: I've had dogs since I was a little girl and can always be found hanging out with the pets over people at parties! I get along really well with furry friends and I will take really good care of yours! I am self-employed, so I always have availability throughout the week when I'm not traveling. I also have my puppy I would be bringing with me if I am house sitting, so please keep that in mind! She loves other dogs. I can come and play with your animals as often and as long as needed. I will stop in every few hours if need be and will definitely give them all the loves and pets!

“First time using this app, and Andrew was just the perfect match. Andrew is incredibly kind and welcoming. He gave me a tour of his lovely home where my dog Lulu was clearly happy and comfortable. He’s very responsive and provides photo and video updates of your pet.”

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

“LiLi had a great time at Kimberlee’s. When I came to pick her up, she was still trying to run around and play with their dog, Odie, who has become one of LiLi’s best pals.”

“Very easy to communicate with and drop off/pick up was very smooth. Our girl is timid in new areas but it sounds like she adjusted well! She was all tuckered out when she got home! Would for sure book Chris again.”

“I don’t think I can say enough good about Haley and Pierce. Pierce is the perfect combination of laid back and playful. He patiently tolerated her initial over-excitement and then ran and played “chase” with her at the beautiful park where Haley took them. Haley was friendly and professional, providing frequent updates and photos. I will most definitely be using Haley again!”

“Kiana was great. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to bring our fur baby. However, the weather was extremely cold and my daughter and I wanted to go to the outlet mall but had no clue what to do with our pup. I reached out to Kiara and god a near immediate response. We were able to enjoy our trip and our pup was happy too. She got a walk and lots of love and attention and had a blast playing with her dog. She was nice and worn out for our long car ride home. Definitely recommend!”

“Emily and Ryan did a great job watching Hopscotch. They were easy to communicate with and were flexible with my schedule. I would recommend them if you need someone to watch your dog.”

“Day is an awesome sitter! I gave her instructions and things to look out for with my chiweenie Willar and Day was very attentive. My pup was very comfortable with Day and enjoyed her company.”

“Michaela was great! I could tell from the pictures that LiLi was very comfortable while staying with her. Michaela has a sweet personality and I know she made sure LiLi got lots of snuggles while she was with her.”

“Lindsay was amazing! She took such good care of my puppy who is usually scared and timid but didn’t want to leave her at the end of the weekend! So thankful for her care and you will not regret having Lindsay as your sitter!”

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.
“Betty was very attentive to our little, old chi (17). He seemed super relaxed and content when I picked him up. Having a fenced yard was a real treat for him. We would definitely use her again. 👍 Betty, thanks for the pics and updates each day that he was in your care. 🙂”

“The dogs went with Jeremiah happily and settled in well with him. He was flexible about when we dropped them off and when we picked them up, which was very helpful. His farm is a great environment for the dogs. We will definitely use his services again! He was great with them.”

About: Ive always had pets growing up my whole life, I started watching other people’s pets my last year of high school. I love all animals and I care for them like they are my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I currently work a 9-5, M-F. However my boyfriend gets off work at 3. Which is why I have my availability set to the weekends. I am not opposed to weekdays I just want to be up front about my schedule. I live on a half acre but we are out in the country surrounded by open fields. Therefore we have plenty of room to run, walk, and play, I also have two dogs myself to keep yours company and play! I do crate my own dogs when I leave the house because we have an open pantry and we’ve had trips to the vet because of things being eaten that should not have been… Therefore I prefer to crate dogs when I leave the house.

About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. I have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I'll always follow your instructions and make sure your dog is happy and well looked after.
“Heather does outstanding with my two girls! My littlest baby lupita who has always been very fearful of strangers absolutely loves her. She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. I have nothing but good things to say about heather and could not have picked a better person to trust my baby girls with.”

“Margaret is fantastic—she has great expertise with both dogs and cats and is incredibly reliable and friendly! My dog, who is a little bit nervous generally and not small (Aussie/Husky) took to her immediately and they have gotten on beautifully! I also have two cats and Margaret gives them the same love she does her own sweet kitty. Highly recommend!”

I currently work part‑time as a veterinarian, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop‑ins, and consistent daily care. About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

I can easily fit dog walking or sitting into my routine and can change my routine to your needs. While I cannot bring pets into my home, I can happily provide care for your pets in your home! I can crate your dog if needed, play with them, keep them company, or take them for a walk.

I have experience caring for pets and maintaining a safe, clean home environment, and I am happy to accommodate your pet's routine, energy level, and specific needs. If you're traveling for the holidays or simply need an extra hand, I would love to help ensure your pets and home are well cared for. In your home, I care for your pets the same way I care for my own, by following their normal routine, giving them lots of love, and making sure they feel safe in their familiar space. I stick closely to your feeding, walking, and play schedules, and I am attentive to any special needs or instructions you share. I keep your home clean, respectful, and secure. I am happy to help with small tasks like watering plants or bringing in mail. I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable while you're apart.

Ha sido una experiencia satisfactoria.”

“Haley is AMAZING! She took care of my 15 week old puppy last minute, and was super communicative. She sent photos and updates, as well as took him to socialize and made sure he was well taken care of. THANK YOU!”
